Symphonic Battle Themes for Splinterlands

Hello friends,

I would like to do my part in building out the world of Splinterlands. Most people are part of Splinterlands because of play-to-earn, and that is fair enough. But there is real power is drawing people into the world of Splinterlands by its lore, art and music.

As I perceive it, there is lots happening with the team and the community when it comes to lore and art. And there is opportunity to do more when it comes to music. Because let us be honest; who of us actually plays Splinterlands with the music unmuted after the first few battles? I suspect there aren't many. And who amongst content creators on Youtube or Twitch actually leave the music of Splinterlands playing in the background of their streams and videos? I think it is time we addressed this.

Firstly (and most importantly), folks should consider listening to the music that @isaria puts out as the official music director and composer for Splinterlands at https://audius.co/isaria/.

And secondly, I'm going to share some of my own Splinterlands-inspired work as a gift to the community, and to raise awareness about this awesome world that is being built called Splinterlands.

I am currently writing an album of Symphonic Battle Themes for Splinterlands, which will have a mix of tracks - covering existing battle themes and adding original compositions written in the orchestral genre.

For this post I am sharing the first track of the album, which is a cover of the Splinterlands main theme, 'Masquerade'. Some of you may recognise it as the theme music to @nealmcspadden Monster Mavericks show.

The album is about a third done, and I expect to share a new track in a week's time. I hope you enjoy.
