I nearly lost the match it was a close win, I will explain in details below.

BATTLE LINEUP

THADDIUS BROOD (Summoner)

I used Brood because it is a trendy Death summoner at the moment that has a high odds off winning. It reduces magic and health of enemy monsters by one.
This gives me an edge to fight freely without the fear of magic monsters.

FURIOUS CHICKEN

I used furious chicken as my tank. At level 4 it has a Melee attack.
I had to put it in front as all monsters have equal health in the ruleset. It’s health bumped to 9.

SHADOW SNITCH

The main monster to be used in the battle challenge.
It has a reach ability that means it is preferable to put it in second position of your battle line up, so it attacks from the second position.

CURSED SLIMEBALL

I used SLIMEBALL in third position because all melee monsters has sneak ability and it is a one mana monster, so it fits perfectly fine.

VENARI BONESMITH

Venari is the next monster in my line up.
It has Life leech ability and also a magic attacker. It earns one health for every damage done on opponents health.
I had to put it in fourth position because mine has poison ability just because is at level 4. I needed it to do more damage before reaching the frontline.

CARRION SHADE

This monster made it to the team because of it’s one mana cap. But the positioning was done on purpose because it has flying ability. It can easily evade attacks once the backline monster is killed.
That’s why it took the 5th position.

CURSED WINDEKU

A13A134C-2C43-4DF1-9360-B0963FF65EA4.png

Cursed Windeku was my expected win monster because of it’s thorn ability, I sacrificed it at the backline to deal lost of damages. This was done because of the game ruleset of all melee monsters having the sneak ability.
But is crazy because that did not happen 🤣🤣🤣.
I nearly lost the battle.

MY STRATEGY

My strategy did work, but I nearly lost the battle. I arranged my lineup with the battle ruleset in mind but my opponent had other ideas to deal with me.

My opponent played with range attackers, so it offset the gameplay. My lucky monsters that won the game was Venari Bonesmith with it’s poison and Carrion Shade with flying ability evading enemies attack.

What I would try next time is replacing CURSED SLIMEBALL with CREEPY OOZE. With Creepy Ooze I will have enemies monster attack speed reduced.

THOUGHTS ON SHADOW SNITCH

I used shadow snitch because it attacks from the second position. It’s normal to do so at a lower mana cap battle but it has lots of substitutes in a high mana cap battle.

I would love to level mine soon but the only issue is that it gets affliction ability at level 6 (100 BCX (cards))
Thinking of leveling it up, I would have to consider under monsters too and my summoner.
So I would manage it at level 4 with 2 melee attack.
Is a good card and comes in handy at higher leagues.
