Diving into the new “Survival Mode 2.0” [ES-EN]

Yo soy un inversor, creador de contenido y ademas de curador de Splinterlands, por supuesto también soy un jugador, aunque justo en la actualidad soy un jugador muy casual, no soy competitivo, hace un tiempo que no lo soy, pero, me he dedicado más a enseñar y educar en materia del juego y por supuesto a invertir y manejar mis activos en el juego para generar recompensas que me permitan acumular más activos, aunque para nada soy una ballena, solo un jugador más, pero con altos conocimientos sobre el tema.
Lo que quiero decir con todo esto, es que, volver a jugar, aunque no por cuenta propia porque quiero probar cómo se comporta mi mazo de cartas de forma automática en el competitivo, específicamente en el “Modo Supervivencia 2.0”, pero, detallare el paso a paso que darle para que vean todo de primera mano, no solo mis ganancias, sino mis errores, lo que cambie o deje igual, todo, así que de cierta forma quiero documentar el proceso, ver si me conviene más jugar de forma manual, que en realidad lo preferiría así, pero por falta de tiempo no puedo, o quedarme en el modo automático.
Así que, si quieren seguir de cerca este proceso conmigo, lean este post hasta el final. Tratare de documentar todo, pero si por alguna razón se me pasa algo, no duden en comentar por favor.
Unidades y Arcontes disponibles + Bracket a seleccionar
Para comenzar, lo que quiero saber es la cantidad de unidades que tengo disponibles para jugar en el formato de “Supervivencia”, lo curioso de esto, es que sé que no tengo un mazo tan pequeño y solo me aparecieron disponibles unos 14 arcontes y 145 unidades, pero, recordé que en algún momento yo las deshabilite para que quedaran fuera del “Modo Supervivencia”, menos mal lo recordé, porque la cifra cambio de forma bastante drástica, así que ahora con esto si estoy preparado para entrar en el formato y seleccionar un “Bracket” que, creo que es el siguiente desafío, ya que tengo que evaluar el nivel de mi mazo, básicamente de mis “Arcontes y Unidades”.
Con esto claro, los activos que poseo para entrar al formato “Supervivencia” quedaron de la siguiente manera:
Preparaciones para el "Modo Supervivencia"
Ok, con esto, refiriéndome a los 75 “Arcontes” y las 1482 “Unidades”, creo que es más que suficiente para comenzar, pero, viene lo mejor seleccionar el “Bracket”, esto es parte de lo más importante que debemos tener en cuenta, ya que, elegir uno u otro repercutirá directamente en las recompensas y el nivel de dificultad que tendremos para enfrentar a otros jugadores. Aunque, parte del camino ya lo tengo recorrido, ya que se sabe que jugare de forma automática, por lo que, debo de dirigirme directamente a estos y comenzar con el análisis para ver cual elegir.
A continuación, veamos los “Brackets” disponibles y analicemos cada uno para saber cuál es el que más me conviene iniciando, recordemos que, la idea es tantear el terreno y testear que tal se comporta nuestro mazo de cartas en dicho “Bracket”, por lo que, si el que elijo veo que se comporta bien, la idea es tratar de probar el siguiente nivel, y de esta manera determinar cuál es el que mejor funciona para nosotros, tomando en cuenta nuestro mazo y su nivel.
Entonces, con esto claro, veamos los “Brackets”:
Como pueden ver en la imagen anterior, lo que distingue a los “Brackets” son los niveles de los “Arcontes” que podemos utilizar, tanto el nivel mínimo como el máximo, esto dice mucho, ya que, todos a estas alturas deberíamos de conocer nuestras cartas, por ejemplo, en mi caso, mis cartas tienen niveles variados, esto quiere decir que, en algunas ocasiones podría jugar en un “Bracket Intermedio”, pero en otras no, por lo que, me deja como mejor opción sin duda el “Adept”, siendo este el que seleccionare para la prueba.
Configuración del BOT “Archmage”
Configurar el BOT para que funcione es realmente sencillo, por supuesto, no estoy diciendo que lo que les mostrare sea la mejor configuración, aunque creo que no hay de otra realmente, pero, la idea de esto es que juegue y que lo haga de la mejor manera, pero, ya esto queda a manos del BOT como tal, ya que no puedes controlar de cierta manera las estrategias que usa el BOT para jugar, pero, creo que esta bien, en todo caso, a continuación, te mostrare como yo lo hice paso a paso:

Como pueden ver en las imágenes, la configuración es muy sencilla, por lo que no ahondare mucho en los detalles porque de verdad que es muy intuitivo, por lo que, lo que describiré son los aspectos en las configuraciones mas importantes, así que veamos cuales son:
Lo primero que hay que hacer es seleccionar el “Bracket” que elegiste, en mi caso fue el primero de lado de los que juegan automáticamente, en este caso es el número 7.
Luego de esto, deben elegir la frecuencia con la que jugaran las partidas, en este caso yo seleccione 4, creo que es el máximo en el que funciona bastante bien, aunque 3 también está bien, tomando en cuenta que este numero de batallas ocurren dentro de 1 hora.
Luego podrían configurar el mínimo CP (Poder de Colección), aunque no creo que sea relevante.
Por último, yo elegí banear unas cartas para que no sean usadas, pero tampoco es que sea importante, recuerden que aquí necesitamos mas cartas porque ellas representan nuestra energía para luchar.
Por último, solo tienes que completar todas estas configuraciones con tu “Keychain” y listo, el BOT esta preparado para comenzar a jugar, ademas, recuerden que él no se detendrá hasta que la cantidad de cartas que tienes en tu mazo queden en periodo de enfriamiento, así que tomen en eso cuenta, lo bueno es que esto no afectara tu juego en el resto de los formatos de juego, así que, pueden configurarlo y jugar con confianza.

Con esto he terminado este post en donde comienzo una nueva serie de publicaciones donde mi intención es documentar mi proceso en el nuevo “Modo Supervivencia 2.0”, así que, durante la semana traeré mas actualizaciones sobre como ha sido este camino.

What I mean by all this is that I’m going to start playing again—though not on my own, because I want to see how my deck performs automatically in competitive play, specifically in “Survival Mode 2.0”— but I’ll break down the process step by step so you can see everything firsthand—not just my wins, but my mistakes, what I change or leave the same, everything. So in a way, I want to document the process to see if it’s better for me to play manually—which I’d actually prefer—but since I don’t have the time, I’ll stick with automatic mode.

Available Units and Archons + Select Bracket
First off, I want to know how many units I have available to play in “Survival” mode. The strange thing is, I know my deck isn’t that small, yet it only showed me about 14 Archons and 145 units as available, but then I remembered that at some point I had disabled them so they wouldn’t appear in “Survival Mode.” Thank goodness I remembered, because the number changed quite drastically, so now, with this, I’m ready to enter the format and select a “Bracket,” which I think is the next challenge, since I have to assess the strength of my deck—basically my “Archons and Units.”
With that in mind, the assets I have available to enter “Survival” mode are as follows:
Preparations for "Survival Mode"
Okay, with that said—referring to the 75 “Archons” and the 1,482 “Units”—I think that’s more than enough to get started. But the best part is selecting the “Bracket”; this is one of the most important things we need to consider, since choosing one over the other will directly affect the rewards and the difficulty level we’ll face when competing against other players. Although I’ve already covered part of the ground, since I know I’ll be playing on auto-pilot, so I need to go straight to these and start analyzing them to see which one to choose.
Next, let’s take a look at the available “brackets” and analyze each one to figure out which one is best for me as a beginner. Remember, the idea is to test the waters and see how our deck performs in that “bracket.” So, if the one I choose performs well, the plan is to try the next level, and in this way determine which one works best for us, taking into account our deck and its level.
Now that we’ve cleared that up, let’s take a look at the “brackets”:
As you can see in the image above, what distinguishes the “Brackets” are the levels of the “Archons” we can use—both the minimum and maximum levels. This is significant, since by now we should all be familiar with our cards. For example, in my case, my cards have varying levels, which means that sometimes I could play in an “Intermediate Bracket,” but other times I couldn’t. Therefore, the “Adept” is undoubtedly my best option, and that is the one I will select for the test.
Configuring the “Archmage” Bot
Setting up the bot to work is really simple. Of course, I’m not saying that what I’m about to show you is the best configuration—though I don’t think there’s really any other way—but the idea here is for it to play and do so as effectively as possible. However, that’s ultimately up to the bot itself, since you can’t really control the strategies it uses to play. Still, I think it works well. In any case, here’s a step-by-step guide on how I set it up:

As you can see in the images, the setup is very simple, so I won’t go into too much detail because it’s really quite intuitive. Instead, I’ll focus on the most important settings, so let’s take a look at what they are:
The first thing you need to do is select the “Bracket” you chose; in my case, it was the first one on the side of the automatic matches, which is number 7.
After that, you need to choose how often the matches will be played. In this case, I selected 4—I think that’s the maximum at which it works pretty well, although 3 is also fine, considering that this number of battles takes place within an hour.
Then they could set the minimum CP (Collection Power), although I don't think that's relevant.
Finally, I decided to ban certain cards so they can’t be used, but it’s not that big of a deal—remember that we need more cards here because they represent our energy to fight.
Finally, all you have to do is complete these settings using your "Keychain," and that's it—the bot is ready to start playing. Also, keep in mind that it won't stop until all the cards in your deck are on cooldown, so keep that in mind. The good news is that this won't affect your gameplay in other game formats, so you can set it up and play with confidence.
