Something that many new players may not know is that they can research elite and professional players in the game, and I imagine they might wonder what they can do with this information; some might think it’s useless and probably a waste of time, However, when I first started playing, I learned a great deal by applying what I’m about to explain. The reason is actually very simple: to succeed in any field, you should try to model and apply what you learn from others who are already successful. This applies to any project, and Splinterlands is no exception. It’s worth learning from the most successful players here, because emulating them could guarantee you future rewards.
Of course, it’s fine to learn on our own, but there comes a point where our minds reach a limit in terms of the strategies we can apply—or perhaps, since we’re not used to playing when we’re just starting out, we struggle a bit—and that’s why we need a little push to keep going. and we get that push from research and information. The idea is to understand all the mechanics and, as you learn, apply and execute what you’ve seen—that’s the key. Still, don’t worry—I know this is very brief, but as I continue this post, I’ll go into more depth about how you can learn from these players.

What is the first thing they should do—where should they look?
The path is pretty straightforward, and you've had it right in front of you the whole time. Although it used to be much easier to find, with the various updates to the game and its interface, this option has become a bit hidden. But here, I'll walk you through it step by step so you can see the path to finding the best players and how to identify them. With that in mind, I'll explain it below:
How to Find the “Top Battles”

The first thing you need to do is go to “Play”—that’s where all the information we need is located. Once there, go to “Battles,” but not the one you click to play; in fact, as I’ve shown in the image, I’m referring to the one that says “Season Winrate.” Once you’re there, go to the right corner of the screen and click where it says “Top Battles.” Right there, you’ll find the most iconic and interesting battles from all the leagues in the game. However, that’s not all—because we don’t just have “Top Battles”; there’s also another, even more interesting option where you can find the best players in each league.
The Leaderboard
This section is much more interesting than the battles, which we obviously need to understand what the best players do, however, even though we can watch some of these “Top Battles,” the reality is that we can do more—and that involves using the “Leaderboard,” which lists the best players in each league ranked by “Rating,” which is exactly what we need to focus on. I’m talking about figuring out what the best players are doing to stay at the top of the game in their respective leagues.
Of course, we don’t have to focus solely on the top player here either; in fact, we can do more, since this list provides a lot of useful information—one of which is each player’s “win rate” for the current or previous season. With this data, we can see who has the highest win percentage and focus on researching precisely those players who almost never lose—and if they do lose, their losing streaks are very short. This is exactly what we’re interested in.
In fact, in the image above, we can see four players; one of them is presumably in second place, though I’m not sure because he wouldn’t have earned a prize on GLINTS. But rather than focusing on that, if we look at his win rate, it’s quite high at about 82.14%, which means it’s worth taking a look at this player’s battles.
How can I view the battles of a specific player?
To view a specific player’s battles, simply follow the path described above to the “Leaderboard,” select the player you’re interested in—in this case, I’ll select the second player listed in the Silver League, who, with that “Rating,” should actually be in “Diamond”—and once you’ve done that, their profile will appear, where you can see their “Exemplar” and everything else. However, what we’re interested in is clicking on “Match History,” as this will take us to their most recent battles. You can see this in the image below.
Now, the last thing I imagine you’re wondering is: Which battles should I choose to watch? Well, the answer is simple: the idea is for you to watch as many battles as you can. However, you should pay the most attention to the following:
Watch battles with conditions similar to those you've played: This is essential, since the idea is for you to know how to react in battle conditions where you usually lose. This will help you come up with a strategy or even try to copy theirs and learn from them. In fact, by watching a battle, you can get a sense of how a player thinks.
Don't get stuck just because you don't have the same cards: The fact that you don't have the same cards as your opponent is irrelevant. If you have the cards, you can replicate that strategy. Just save the battle and try to play under those conditions just like your opponent, or take a close look at the abilities of their cards—the ones they use in their strategy—and use cards that have the same abilities or serve the same purpose, even if they're different. That's the key.

You should memorize or save the links to the battles that interest you most so you can review them. Por supuesto, cuando queremos aprender por cuenta propia también esta bien, pero llega un punto en que nuestra mente tiene un limite de estrategias que puede aplicar, o quizás como no estamos acostumbrados a jugar cuando estamos iniciando, nos cuesta un poco, y es por eso que necesitamos un impulso para poder continuar, y ese empujón lo tenemos con la investigación y la información, la idea es comprender todas las mecánicas y mientras aprendes, aplicar y ejecutar lo visto, esta es la clave. ¿Qué es lo primero que deben realizar donde investigar?
La ruta es bastante sencilla y la han tenido a su vista todo este tiempo, aunque antes era mucho más fácil de encontrar, con varias actualizaciones que ha habido en el juego y su interfaz, ha quedado un poco oculta esta opción, pero, aquí les mostrare un paso a paso y puedan ver la ruta para ver a los mejores jugadores y como identificarlos, así que con esto claro, lo explicare a continuación:
Como encontrar las “Top Battles”

Lo primero que tienen que hacer es dirigirse a “Play”, allí es donde esta toda la información que necesitamos, por lo que una vez allí, se dirigen a “Battles” pero no el que le damos clic para jugar, de hecho, se los muestro en la imagen, me refiero al que dice “Season Winrate”. Cuando estén allí van a la esquina derecha de la pantalla y hacen clic donde dicen “Top Battles” y justo allí se encontrarán directamente con las batallas más emblemáticas e interesantes de todas las ligas existentes en el juego. Sin embargo, esto no es todo, porque no solo tenemos a “Top Battles”, sino que también existe otra opción mas interesante y justo donde encontramos a los mejores jugadores de cada liga.
El Leaderboard
Este apartado es mucho mas interesante que las batallas, las cuales por supuesto necesitamos si o si para poder entender que es lo que hacen los mejores, sin embargo, aunque podemos ver algunas de estas “Top Battles”, la realidad es que podemos hacer más y se trata de usar el “Leaderboard” que lista a los mejores jugadores de cada liga ordenado por “Rating” que es justo en lo que necesitamos fijarnos, me refiero a saber que están haciendo los mejores para estar en la cúspide del juego en sus respectivas ligas.
Por supuesto, aquí tampoco tenemos que enfocarnos solo en el primero jugador, de hecho, podemos hacer más, ya que esta lista nos ofrece mucha información de utilidad y una de ellas es el “Winrate” que tienen cada uno de ellos durante la temporada actual o la pasada, con esto, podemos ver quien tiene mas porcentaje de ganancias y enfocarnos en investigar precisamente a esos jugadores que casi nunca pierden, y si pierden son rachas negativas muy cortas. Esto es precisamente lo que nos interesa.
De hecho, en la imagen anterior podemos ver a 4 jugadores, hay uno que presumiblemente esta de segundo y no estoy seguro porque no tendría premio en GLINTS, pero, lejos de prestarle atención a eso, si vemos su porcentaje de victorias es bastante alto de unos 82.14%, esto quiere decir que vale la pena dar un vistazo a las batallas del jugador.
¿De que forma puede ver las batallas de un jugador especifico?
Para ver las batallas de un jugador especifico, basta con que sigamos la ruta anterior hasta el “Leaderboard” seleccionemos al jugador que nos interesa, en este caso seleccionare al segundo que sale en la liga plata que con ese “Rating” debe de estar en “Diamante” y una vez hecho esto no saldrá su perfil, donde podremos ver su “Exemplar” y todo lo demás. Sin embargo, lo que nos interesa es hacer clic en “Match History”, ya que nos llevara a sus últimas batallas. Pueden ver en la siguiente imagen.
Ahora bien, lo ultimo que imagino que se estarán preguntando: ¿Qué batallas debo seleccionar y ver? Pues la respuesta es fácil, la idea es que veas todas las batallas que puedas, sin embargo, en lo que debes de prestar más atención es en lo siguiente:
Observa las batallas con condiciones parecidas a las que has jugado: Esto es lo primordial, ya que la idea es que sepas reaccionar en las condiciones de batalla donde sueles perder, esto te ayudara a idear una estrategia o incluso a tratar de copiar la suya y aprender de él, de hecho, viendo una batalla puedes saber cómo piensa un jugador.
No te bloquees porque no tienes las mismas cartas: El que no tengas las mismas cartas que el es irrelevante, si las tienes puedes replicar esa estrategia, solo guarda la batalla y trata de jugar en esas condiciones igual que el o observa bien que habilidades tienen sus cartas, las que uso en su estrategia y usa cartas que tengan las mismas habilidades que esas o que cumplan la misma función así sean diferentes, esa es la clave.
Consideraciones Finales
Con esto es mas que suficiente para que puedas aprender como se juega, que hacen los mejores jugadores para ganar y dominar las ligas, pasa el suficiente tiempo que puedas viendo las batallas que más te gusten, debes tener memoria o guardar el enlace de las batallas que mas te interesen para que las repases. Espero que con esto ya no tengas excusas, hay muchas formas de aprender y esta sin duda es una de las mejores que puedes aplicar.
