Es el proceso de reinvertir tus ganancias para que generen aún más ganancias; claro, esta es la definición oficial del “interés compuesto” en cualquier negocio que te ofrezca un retorno basado en tu inversión. Pero hagámoslo más sencillo todavía para el que aún no maneja este término o nunca lo ha escuchado: Imagina que tienes una bola de nieve que, al rodarla, recoge más nieve y se hace más grande; pues si aplicamos esto mismo a Splinterlands, da por sentado que tu "bola de nieve" es el Staking de SPS.

¿A qué me refiero con esto? Que este “Staking” es lo que te permitirá hacer que la rueda o bola de nieve siga girando y haciéndose más grande; básicamente, tomas tu $SPS, lo colocas en Staking y ya estás trabajando para que ese $SPS con el tiempo se haga más grande. Muy sencillo de comprender, pero, créeme, no todos son capaces de aplicarlo, y lo entiendo, pero, si piensas en el largo plazo, lo mejor es que lo trabajes de la siguiente forma:

Paso a paso para activar tu “Fábrica de Dinero”

1. Reclamar y "Stakear" tu SPS

Cuando ganas batallas clasificatorias, generalmente en los formatos (Moderno y Salvaje), porque en el “Supervivencia” me parece que lo dan al final de cada temporada, ganas $SPS, aunque cuando participas en Brawls o torneos, también los recibes. Lo genial de todo esto es que los recibes en el “Staking" directamente; esto quiere decir que no necesitas apretar un botón en primera instancia, el juego lo automatiza por ti; de esta forma, la presión de venta disminuye.

Aunque los jugadores, la mayoría de ellos, suelen hacer “Unstaked” para tomar ganancias, sin embargo, haciendo esto te alejas del crecimiento y la progresión en el juego, aunque, como ya dije, todo es planificación, pero si todo lo que ganas lo sacas, estás limitando tus ganancias y, aunque quieras ganar más, no podrás, porque en reiteradas ocasiones he comentado que el $SPS tiene un efecto multiplicador: mientras más tengas, más puedes ganar.

Con esto claro, el proceso a seguir es muy sencillo, y es el siguiente:

• La Acción: Debes ir a la pestaña de SPS y hacer clic en "Stake". Al bloquear tu SPS dentro del juego, este empieza a generar un porcentaje de retorno anual (APR), el cual, justo ahora, gira en torno al 8.24%. No es muy grande, pero sí que es constante.

• El Efecto: Ahora, ese SPS te está dando más SPS cada segundo que pasa, por lo que el “interés compuesto” se aplica cuando ejecutamos este ciclo; de esta manera no solo estás ganando más $SPS por el staking, sino que tu multiplicador aumenta.

2. La Generación Pasiva de “Vouchers”

Al tener SPS en "Stake", el sistema te recompensa automáticamente con Vouchers, los cuales tienen una usabilidad bastante genial, y es que, con ellos, puedes obtener cartas muy exclusivas que solo se pueden obtener mediante ellos; sin embargo, para nuestra estrategia de interés compuesto, no haremos esto, sino que lo pondremos a trabajar más bien para multiplicar nuestras tendencias y el fondo de $SPS que queremos hacer crecer para aumentar nuestro multiplicador y nuestras propias ganancias de “Staking”.

Pero ¿cómo funcionan o qué son realmente? Te lo resumo rápidamente:

• ¿Qué son? Son vales especiales que sirven para comprar preventas de cartas y/o otros usos dentro del ecosistema.

• El Valor: Los Vouchers tienen un valor de mercado alto. Puedes venderlos por más SPS para aumentar tu apuesta o guardarlos para activos de escasez; pueden ser cartas limitadas o el mismo DEC.

Nota: Sin embargo, este realmente no es que se venda directamente por $SPS, pero sí puedes convertirlos a DEC, y una vez tengas estos, sí que puedes convertirlos a SPS; de hecho, esta es mi recomendación, ya que de esta manera aumentas, como ya comenté, tu multiplicador y a su vez las ganancias en el “Staking”. De esta manera, tu bola de nieve será aún más grande.

El Ciclo de Reinversión Diaria

Para que el interés sea realmente "compuesto", la frecuencia con que realizas esto es muy importante, ya que la constancia y la disciplina son una de las cosas que necesitamos tener en Splinterlands para tener éxito, aunque esto aplica para todo lo que queremos emprender en nuestra vida. Es por eso que con el juego no es diferente, y más porque podemos ganar dinero real.

Entonces, los pasos son los siguientes:

• Rutina Pro: Una vez al día, reclama tu SPS ganado por el Staking (estos sí son SPS líquidos, por lo que deberás colocarlos en Staking de forma manual) y tus Vouchers.

• Conversión: Si no planeas usar los Vouchers, véndelos en el mercado interno por más DEC para luego, a su vez, cambiarlos por SPS y vuelve a hacer "Stake" con todo. Así, tu capital base crece diariamente, y mañana recibirás intereses sobre lo que ganaste hoy.

¿Por qué esto es vital para un jugador nuevo?

Desde hace años y justo ahora en el año 2026, las ganancias de tus batallas dependen de tu multiplicador de Staking.

So, when it comes to what you do with your $SPS right now, as I see it, you have two options: spend them or put them to work. If you choose the latter, you’re embarking on the path of compound interest to accelerate your progression and earn more in the short, medium, and long term.

That’s why today’s post focuses a bit more on the economy and progression in Splinterlands, with a primary focus on $SPS, since, as I’ve already mentioned, it’s not only the governance token but also the token through which we receive the vast majority of our in-game rewards, so good money management is essential to survive in the ecosystem and ensure we don’t run out of resources to apply the cycle or flywheel that allows us to win and multiply our returns.

So, if you want to know how to apply “compound interest” to the $SPS and how this can help you generate much more, read on to the end; you probably don’t know anything about what I’m going to explain, so you’re in the right place.

What Is Compound Interest in Gambling?

It’s the process of reinvesting your earnings so they generate even more earnings; of course, this is the official definition of “compound interest” in any business that offers you a return based on your investment. What do I mean by this? This “staking” is what will allow you to keep the wheel or snowball rolling and growing; basically, you take your $SPS, put it into staking, and you’re already working to make that $SPS grow over time. It’s very simple to understand, but believe me, not everyone is able to put it into practice, and I get that. But if you’re thinking long-term, it’s best to approach it this way:

Step-by-Step Guide to Activating Your “Money-Making Machine”

1. Claim and "Stake" Your SPS

When you win ranked matches—usually in Modern and Wild formats, since in Survival mode I think they’re awarded at the end of each season—you earn $SPS, though you also receive them when you participate in Brawls or tournaments. The great thing about all this is that you receive them directly through “Staking”; this means you don’t need to press a button at first—the game automates it for you—so the pressure to sell decreases.

Although most players tend to “unstake” to cash out their winnings, doing so hinders your growth and progression in the game. As I’ve said before, it’s all about planning, but if you withdraw everything you earn, you’re limiting your potential earnings. Even if you want to earn more, you won’t be able to, because—as I’ve mentioned repeatedly—$SPS has a multiplier effect: the more you have, the more you can win.

With that in mind, the process is very simple, and it goes as follows:

• The Action: Go to the SPS tab and click "Stake." When you stake your SPS in the game, it starts generating an annual percentage return (APR), which currently stands at around 8.24%. It's not very high, but it is consistent.

• The Effect: Now, that SPS is earning you more SPS with every passing second, so “compound interest” comes into play as this cycle continues; this way, you’re not only earning more $SPS through staking, but your multiplier is also increasing.

2. Passive Generation of “Vouchers”

When you stake SPS, the system automatically rewards you with vouchers, which are incredibly useful—you can use them to obtain very exclusive cards that are otherwise unobtainable; however, for our compound interest strategy, we won’t do this; instead, we’ll put it to work to multiply our holdings and the $SPS fund we want to grow in order to increase our multiplier and our own “Staking” earnings.

But how do they work, or what are they really? Let me give you a quick summary:

• What are they? These are special vouchers that can be used to purchase pre-sale cards and/or for other purposes within the ecosystem.

• The Value: Vouchers have a high market value. You can sell them for more SPS to increase your bet or save them for scarce assets, such as limited edition cards or DEC itself.

Note: However, these aren’t actually sold directly for $SPS, but you can convert them to DEC, and once you have DEC, you can convert them to SPS; in fact, this is what I recommend, since—as I mentioned earlier—this way you increase your multiplier and, in turn, your staking earnings. This way, your snowball will grow even bigger.

The Daily Reinvestment Cycle

For interest to truly be "compounded," how often you do this is very important, since consistency and discipline are key to succeeding in Splinterlands—and this applies to everything we set out to do in life. That’s why it’s no different with this game, especially since we can earn real money.

So, here are the steps:

• Routine Pro: Once a day, claim the SPS you’ve earned through staking (these are liquid SPS, so you’ll need to stake them manually) and your vouchers.

• Conversion: If you don't plan to use the vouchers, sell them on the internal market for more DEC, then exchange them for SPS, and stake everything again. That way, your principal grows every day, and tomorrow you'll receive interest on what you earned today.
