Primero que todo debo comentar quien creo esta fabulosa herramienta, y se trata nada mas y nada menos que @bravetofu un gran creador de la comunidad y uno de los poseedores de $SPS mas fuertes, por lo que, antes de comenzar y explicarlo y dar mis impresiones, todo el crédito para el y ademas darle las gracias por crear herramientas funcionales y geniales para nosotros los jugadores y creadores.

Ahora sí, una vez ya comentamos este pequeño prologo, imagino que se estarán preguntando ¿Qué es Splintiers?

Pues para mi es una plataforma diseñada para simplificar y/o potenciar la creación de mazos en Splinterlands, por supuesto, aunque suena muy simple, esto no es todo lo que hace, ya que puedes ver los precios en tiempo real, puedes como su nombre lo indica, ver distintas “Tier List” que dicen que cartas son mas valiosas que otras, esto con la intención de mostrarle al jugador mas novato, que tipo de cartas pueden ser las fuertes y por qué. Algo que es muy interesante tomando en cuenta que existen cientos de cartas y armar un mazo equilibrado hoy en día es bastante complicado, y mas si no tienes idea de que va el juego, especialmente para esos jugadores nuevos que quieren comenzar, pero con tantas cartas no saben por cual.

Ahora bien, ya sabemos que es, pero realmente ¿Cómo funciona la herramienta? A continuación, detallare todas las funciones principales que tiene integrada:

Funciones Principales de “Splintiers”

• Construcción de Mazos Personalizados: La plataforma permite construir mazos utilizando lo que se llama el “Deck Builder” donde puede seleccionar ediciones específicas, los niveles de las cartas, para que tipo de liga, si por ejemplo es para (Plata, Oro y Diamante) y el fuerte de la plataforma, la cual clasifica a las cartas por “Tiers” con el objetivo de que en un vistazo puedas ver que cartas forman parte del META actual.

• Consultar costos: Algo que siempre ha sido un problema, en especial para los nuevo usuarios es conocer exactamente cuanto DEC, SPS o créditos se necesitan exactamente para completar un mazo y armar una verdadera estrategia. Lo mejor de todo es que eso puedes hacerlo en “Splintiers”, ya que te muestra los costos del mercado basándose en el nivel y la edición que selecciones de las cartas existentes hasta la fecha.

• Identifica las cartas con los “Tiers”: El gran atractivo que tiene esta herramienta es su sistema de filtrado usando los famosos “Tiers”, ya que, por ejemplo; los Tiers S y A son obligatorios si quieres competir en igualdad de condiciones en el META actual, por supuesto, hay cartas muy buenas en niveles inferiores, pero lo ideal es que con esto puedas priorizas que cartas compraras primero, cuales después.

• Ver anomalías en el mercado: Aunque es una detección sencilla, es una de las mejores y te ahorra mucho tiempo, ya que de forma predeterminada cuando quieres construir un mazo y aplicas los filtros que deseas, te muestra la lista de las cartas y su costo, sin embargo, cuando no hay suficientes BCX en el mercado para que puedas comprar la carta al nivel correspondiente te lo señala de color rojo.

Funcionamiento del sistema de “Tiers”

Si bien puedes construir tu mazo en esta plataforma, y usarlo de varias maneras para crear objetivos de compra que se adecuen a tu presupuesto, algo increíble y que ninguna plataforma tiene es el sistema de los “Tiers”, el cual clasifica a las cartas en 5 niveles que van desde el S hasta el D, por supuesto, de la forma en como el sistema funciona detrás, se basa en la experiencia probada de su creador, el cual con cientos de batallas que lo respaldan, no cree este sistema de “Tiers” para guiar al jugador novato que no conoce el META de cada edición, lo que se agradece muchísimo.

Pero, cual tier es mejor o cual es el orden, a continuación, te lo muestro:

• Tiers S y A: Estos dos niveles representan la cúspide y lo mas importante en cada edición de cartas, son cartas imprescindibles que todo mazo debería de tener y que forman parte del meta actual. Si quieres comenzar realmente fuerte tener en cuenta estos 2 niveles te adelantara con respecto al resto de los jugadores.

• Tier B y C: Estos niveles vienen por debajo de los anteriores, pero, no quiere decir que sean cartas malas, al contrario, son muy buenas para para un numero especifico de situaciones, en pocas palabras reglas y/o modificadores específicos, pero que a diferencia de los 2 primeros, no siempre son necesarias. En estos niveles básicamente tienes a “Soportes y Especialistas”.

• Tier D: Aquí se concentran las unidades que tienen muy poca utilidad en el campo de batalla, rara vez en las partidas realmente competitivas las vez, son muy situacionales, y quizás también se encuentran en este nivel porque ya hay cartas mejores que tienen su mismo efecto y otros adiciones, porque lo que su usabilidad de duplica, lo que limita en gran medida el usarlas en batalla.

Consideraciones Finales

Por supuesto, este sistema no quiere decir que tengas que seguir al pie de la letra lo que dice, de hecho, si tienes experiencia probablemente difieras con una u otra carta que este en los diferentes “Tiers”, pero, aun así, me parece una herramienta imprescindible en la actualidad de los jugadores de cualquier nivel en el juego, aunque por supuesto resaltando aquellos que son nuevos y están comenzando, es sin duda una joya que deben usar sí o sí.

What is Splintiers, and what does it do?

First of all, I want to mention who created this amazing tool—none other than @bravetofu, a great community creator and one of the top $SPS holders. So, before I dive in to explain it and share my thoughts, I want to give him all the credit and thank him for creating such functional and awesome tools for us players and creators.

Now that we’ve gone over this brief introduction, I imagine you’re wondering, “What is Splintiers?”

Well, to me, it’s a platform designed to simplify and/or enhance deck-building in Splinterlands. Of course, while that sounds very simple, that’s not all it does. As you can see, it displays prices in real time, and as the name suggests, you can view various “Tier Lists” that indicate which cards are more valuable than others. This is intended to show newer players what types of cards are strong and why. This is particularly interesting given that there are hundreds of cards, and building a balanced deck these days is quite complicated—especially if you have no idea how the game works, particularly for new players who want to get started but, with so many cards, don’t know which ones to choose.

Now, we already know what it is, but how does the tool actually work? Below, I’ll go over all of its main built-in features:

Key Features of “Splintiers”

• Building Custom Decks: The platform lets you build decks using the “Deck Builder,” where you can select specific editions, card tiers, and the type of league (such as Silver, Gold, or Diamond). One of the platform’s key features is its classification of cards into “tiers,” allowing you to see at a glance which cards are part of the current meta.

• Check prices: One thing that has always been a challenge, especially for new users, is knowing exactly how many DEC, SPS, or credits are needed to complete a deck and build a solid strategy. The best part is that you can do this in “Splintiers,” since it shows you market prices based on the level and edition of the cards currently available.

• Identify the cards with the “Tiers”: The main appeal of this tool is its filtering system based on the well-known “Tiers.” For example, Tiers S and A are essential if you want to compete on equal footing in the current meta. Of course, there are very good cards in lower tiers, but ideally, this tool will help you prioritize which cards to buy first and which ones to buy later.

• Identify market anomalies: Although it’s a simple feature, it’s one of the best and saves you a lot of time. By default, when you’re building a deck and apply the filters you want, it shows you the list of cards and their costs. However, if there aren’t enough BCX on the market for you to buy the card at the corresponding level, it highlights this in red.

How the “Tiers” System Works

While you can build your deck on this platform, and use it in various ways to set purchase goals that fit your budget, one incredible feature that no other platform has is the “Tiers” system, which classifies cards into 5 levels ranging from S to D. Of course, the way the system works behind the scenes is based on the proven experience of its creator, who, backed by hundreds of battles, did not create this “Tier” system to guide novice players who are unfamiliar with the META of each edition—a feature that is greatly appreciated.

But which tier is best, and what’s the order? Here’s a breakdown:

• Tiers S and A: These two tiers represent the cream of the crop in every card set; they are essential cards that every deck should include and are integral to the current meta. If you want to start off strong, keeping these two tiers in mind will give you a head start over the other players.

• Tier B and C: These levels are ranked below the previous ones, but that doesn’t mean they’re bad cards—on the contrary, they’re very good for a specific set of situations, namely specific rules and/or modifiers. However, unlike the first two levels, they aren’t always necessary. At these levels, you basically have “Support and Specialist” cards.

• Tier D: This tier includes units that are of very little use on the battlefield; they are rarely seen in truly competitive matches because they are highly situational. They may also be in this tier because there are already better cards that offer the same effect plus additional benefits, effectively doubling their utility—a factor that greatly limits their use in battle.

Final Thoughts

Of course, this system doesn’t mean you have to follow its recommendations to the letter. In fact, if you have experience, you’ll likely disagree with one or another card listed in the different “tiers.” Still, I think it’s an essential tool these days for players of any skill level, though it’s especially valuable for those who are new and just starting out—it’s definitely a gem they absolutely must use.
