En todo caso, espero que esta publicación aclare el panorama de lo que presenta esta “Pre-Propuesta”, mi opinión sobre esto es que, de verdad sería genial un listado del SPS en cualquiera de los 2 intercambios, la verdad podría significar muchos beneficios para todos, tampoco está mal en obtener dinero fresco (Liquidez) de personas que busquen solo especular y que no les interesa el juego, pero también entiendo que la idea es buscar a la mayor cantidad de jugadores/inversores de calidad posibles que les interesante tanto el juego como su ecosistema en general.

Pero, el nicho de un juego tipo TCG en la web3 no suele ser muy grande, al menos en lo que he visto, de los que puedo recordar con éxito, están “Gods Unchained y por supuesto “Splinterlands” que aún siguen, pero hay muchos otros de los cuales no he escuchado más sobre ellos, “Skyweaver” es otro en “Poligon”, pero, no he escuchado sobre él, en todo caso, hay que modificar la propuesta y ser más concretos con la información presentada.

Lately I have seen a bit of commotion about a "Pre-Proposal " that came out a few days ago about the possibility of listing SPS (Splintershards) on tier 1 exchanges like (Binance and Coinbase), the proposal is active at the time of writing this post and is #93, although, it is not a simple vote at all, I am 100% sure that we all would like to be trading in some of these centralized exchanges, but we must ask ourselves and/or consider several things if this is approved, what I mean, is to see what consequences could bring the listing, look at the whole picture from the negative side as well as the positive side.

This proposal is not sponsored by the DAO, so an anonymous user under the user name "Soy Misterioso" was the one who published it, in addition, what I intend to do by writing this publication, is to give my views about this proposal and of course to reach an answer to the following question: What would happen if it is listed and not have the desired result? in the end, it is a very interesting topic, since, with the recent bull market and all the "Fomo" and money surfing the markets, it is obvious to think that we are in a very good moment to attract the attention of many new investors out there, which leads me to wonder many things:

Is it a good time to showcase "Splinterlands" to the masses via Binance or Coinbase?

If we are not ready yet, when would be the ideal time?

These and other questions or doubts will try to be answered in the course of this publication, so, if you want to join, do not hesitate to leave your comments on this proposal in the comments, on the other hand, in order to talk about this topic, I will cover the following points:

I will try to go as much to the point as possible in this publication to explain the strong and weak points about the "Pre-Proposal" of listing the SPS in Binance or Coinbase, although first I want to start with the positive and negative aspects about this, although before I want to clarify that, it is only an opinion, this to avoid misunderstandings and these things, so, without further ado let's go with it:

Positive aspects

• The first thing I think of when I get a listing in any of these 2 exchanges, is the exposure that the game will have to the masses with people and/or investors related to the "Web3", this means that, they will open many eyes on us that most likely will call their attention to the game and decide to invest in it, which could mean a hybrid organic growth, both "Artificial" and "Organic".

• If we can participate in such an exchange with all the tools that already exist in the game regarding the many ways to generate dividends passively in Splinterlands, if fresh capital comes in, many investors will want to participate and try the game and see all the good things it has to offer, not only on the investment side, but on the gameplay side, of course, there are risks, some will leave, some will stay.

• We are facing a confirmed bull market, listing the SPS on a top tier exchange would represent a very good opportunity to place end players and/or investors in our ranks, which would help to obtain the SPS without many complications or steps, while it can be easily obtained on some other exchanges with "Pancakeswap", not to mention those within "Hive", both Binance and Coinbase are very intuitive and easy to use.

Important: As everything is not rosy, it is obvious that there are negative aspects to highlight, it is important that we see both sides of the coin, because, although it is positive in every way to be listed on a first level exchange, many things are missing to make people who enter stay for the attractiveness, but, I will develop it more with the aspects that follow.

Negative Aspects

• There is a possibility and it is something undeniable that, if SPS is listed on Binance or Coinbase, with the pump that will surely open by the FOMO of obtaining extraordinary fast returns and the rise in the price of the token, many will sell all or the vast majority of their holdings in SPS, we must accept that some people want to get out, but not at these prices now.

• Entering "Splinterlands" for new players is an odyssey, there are many things to take into account and a good experience has not been built to give them the welcome they deserve and not lose their way, they are already working on this I understand, but it is important, the last time many players entered the game collapsed many times, so the infrastructure must be improved, in that sense, it would be a quick entry of players, they will enter and leave.

• With all that remains to be improved in the game, if a Bombshell of this magnitude occurs when listing it, most of them getting returns from the upside, what would follow would be a rather extensive decline that could extinguish the game and although it pains me to accept this fact, it is obvious that I do not want such a scenario to happen.

Other aspects

The truth is there are many aspects that may escape me right now about what it would mean to be listed on some of these exchanges, however, if I remember correctly you would not really be using $2.5 million to pay for listing SPS from the DAO directly or from the funds you already have, they would be "UNASSIGNED " funds to be able to negotiate a possible listing so the SPS trends would be intact.

On the other hand, a listing would be very positive to place the HIVE network in the sight of all, besides, despite the usefulness of SPS is very much for the game, the way it is obtained right now on the outside makes that nobody knows it, in short, we are in the dark, it is perhaps for this reason that the current "Splinterlands" economy is cyclical and the absence of this, makes think that, the best alternative to have visualization and "Marketing", fresh money and all these details, would be a listing on Binance.

Objectives and details to highlight about the proposal

The goal is very clear, to expose SPS and in turn "Splinterlands" to the crypto world once and for all, additional what I mentioned before, this could not only benefit the game, but also the "Hive" chain which is where it is hosted, but, beyond the pros and cons that this could have, we must also clarify that, It is not known what other benefits could be included to quote in any of these 2 exchanges, what I mean is that, perhaps there could be some guarantees by the same, some promotions, other related activities, there is little information about it, but to have it, you should talk to the relevant entities (Binance or Coinbase).

On the other hand, more details and information about the proposal is needed, I think that 2.5 million dollars from the DAO, is an exaggerated figure for a listing, even if it is of first level, although I have no information, it could be much less to be able to quote, but before it is a real proposal that the community evaluates to analyze it more seriously, it should be discussed with them, at least that is what I think, already with conditions from the exchanges, price, liquidity and these details, a proposal with more accurate numbers could be raised.

In any case, I hope this publication clarifies the picture of what this "Pre-Proposal" presents, my opinion about this is that, it would be really great a listing of SPS in any of the 2 exchanges, the truth could mean many benefits for everyone, it is not bad to get fresh money (liquidity) from people who seek only speculate and are not interested in the game, but I also understand that the idea is to seek as many quality players / investors as possible who are interested in both the game and its ecosystem in general.

But, the niche of a TCG type game in the web3 is not usually very big, at least in what I have seen, of those that I can remember successfully, there are "Gods Unchained and of course "Splinterlands" that still continue, but there are many others of which I have not heard more about them, "Skyweaver" is another in "Poligon", but, I have not heard about it, in any case, you have to modify the proposal and be more specific with the information presented.
