This is my favorite card; it's one of the rarest cards ever created in "Splinterlands" [ES-EN]

Splinterlands es un juego increíble, desde el 2018 cuando dio sus primeros pasos lo jugué y desde el inicio me encanto, era bastante simple y con gráficos sencillos, aunque bastante buenos para su momento, pero, lejos de esto, el que sea un “Auto Battler” por turnos donde las batallas son rápidas pero requieren una muy buena estrategia, todo esto hizo que me enganchara con el juego, poco a poco fui construyendo mis activos y mi posición, pero, sin duda hay una de las adquisiciones que hice durante el 2020 aproximadamente si no me equivoco que fue lo que mas me gusto y en la actualidad es mi tesoro mas preciado en el juego. ¿Supongo que no se imaginan a lo que me refiero cierto?
Pues en este post les mostrare cual es mi tesoro que no es mas que una carta “Legendaria” de la primera edición creada en el juego y si, hablo de la edición “Alpha”, la cual tiene una valor coleccionable que no se puede equiparar al resto de las cartas más nuevas, inclusive si sin de láminas negras o “Arcane”, ya que al ser una de las primeras cartas creadas con un suministro muy limitado e inferior al resto de las cartas creadas, la convierten en un carta que todo amante del juego debería de tener si o si en su mazo de cartas. La carta de la que hablo es el increíble “Lightning Dragón”.
Así que, si quieres saber mas sobre mi carta favorita y también conocer la razón por la que su valor es tan alto desde la perspectiva del coleccionista, te recomiendo leer hasta el final este post. Ademas, este carta a pesar de que sea mi favorita, la estoy vendiendo, así que contáctame si esto te interesa.
Lightning Dragón un icono de los “Orígenes” de “Praetoria”
Como dije, el poderoso “Lightning Dragón” pertenece a la primera edición que vimos nacer en el juego, que fue la “Alpha”. Esta edición, a diferencia del resto, tuvo un suministro muy bajo, por lo que su valor en el mercado es relativamente alto, por otro lado, su valor coleccionable es muy alto también, sin mencionar que no todos pueden tener en la actualidad una carta del “Lightning Dragón” en su nivel máximo. Sin embargo, esta carta no solo es una pieza de coleccionismo, ya que es una unidad bastante fuerte y útil en el campo de batalla, pero no solo eso, también puede ser usada en otros modos, pero no coman ansias, ya les explico cuáles son los usos que posee y dónde:
Usabilidad de Lightning Dragón
Como Trabajador en las “Parcelas de Tierra”: Yo diría que este es su uso principal, ya que al ser una carta de una edición antigua que no es la “Moderna”, la demanda de estas cartas es bastante baja, al menos para usarla en el jugo clasificado, algo en lo que no estoy de acuerdo, para mí, estas cartas tendrían que ser las más caras de todas, aunque no estén en el META. Pero, no por eso el que se pueda utilizar como trabajador, no quiere decir que esto no sea bueno, al contrario, es de las cartas que ofrecen mas Punto de Producción PP que cualquier que exista actualmente, por lo que te pueda dar mas recursos en las parcelas que cualquier otra carta.
En el campo de batalla: Si bien no es una carta que actualmente este dentro del METAJUEGO, no quiere decir que sea una carta débil, de hecho, con todo el tiempo que tiene de existencia, sigue siendo una carta extremadamente fuerte y bastante útil, ademas si juegas en el “Formato Salvaje”, esta es una de las mejores cartas que puedes usar en el campo, ya que te ofrece una ofensiva y versatilidad como ninguna otra, y si la combinas con las nuevas cartas, mucho más.
Analisis de Estadísticas (Velocidad y Poder) + Habilidades
Esta carta es especialista en el ataque a distancia, pero, tiene una versatilidad muy buena; pero, para no darles adelantos aquí, vamos a ver sus estadísticas actuales:
Estadísticas Principales
Coste de Mana: Posee un costo de mana de 7 puntos, lo que es normal en un tipo de carta como esta, es legendaria, y su poder y usabilidad vale cada punto para invocarla en el campo de batalla.
Daño (Ataque de Rango): Esta carta posee un ataque de rango de +3 puntos en su nivel máximo, el cual esta bastante bien si me preguntan. Lo mejor es que este ataque puede incrementarse, aunque depende de cómo decidas jugarla.
Velocidad: Este es uno de los puntos fuertes de esta carta y es que posee +6 puntos de velocidad que es una completa locura, siempre es de las primeras en atacar. Esto indirectamente ayuda a su “Defensa”.
Salud: Posee 7 puntos de vida, lo que esta bastante bien y equilibra perfectamente la carta, no es que sea muy resistente, pero si lo combinamos con la velocidad, esto aumenta la resistencia.
Armadura: No posee, esto es algo que debes tener en cuenta. Pero, si la jugamos y/o combinamos correctamente con las cartas o modificadores correctos, podemos hacer que esto cambie.
Habilidades Principales
Nivel 1 (Flying): Esta habilidad le otorga un 25% de probabilidad a nuestro “Dragón” de esquivar ataques, lo que aumenta en esta misma proporción su “Defensa”, y a su vez su “Ofensiva”, es por eso que es una carta muy versátil.
Nivel 2 (Stun): Esta habilidad viene perfecta con “Lightning Dragón”, ya que con su velocidad y ademas la habilidad de volar, tienes un 50% de probabilidad de aturdir a las cartas del rival, por lo que, escapar de su ataque es bastante complicado.
Nivel 3 (Piercing): Esta habilidad es muy buena y permite que el ataque de nuestro Dragón pueda traspasar la armaduras de las cartas que tenga en la mira, por lo que, incluso si tienen una buena defensa, esta carta puede perforar dichas defensas.
Nivel 4 (Blast): Por si fuera poco, esta carta posee una de las habilidades mas destructivas del juego, que es “Blast”, el ataque de esta carta causa daño adyacente a las cartas alrededor de su objetivo de ataque original, por lo que, estos 3 puntos que pueden aumentarse causan un daño masivo.
Consideraciones Finales
Esta carta es impresionante, es mi carta favorita, y ha estado conmigo durante varios años. ¿Qué te parece esta carta? Yo creo que, aunque es una carta antigua es bastante útil, tiene un equilibrio en sus habilidades, puede que no este en el METAJUEGO, pero, definitivamente sigue siendo una de las cartas mas fuertes en el “Formato Salvaje”.

Splinterlands is an incredible game. I’ve been playing it since 2018, when it first launched, and I loved it from the start. It was pretty simple with basic graphics—though quite good for its time—but beyond that, the fact that it’s a turn-based “Auto Battler” where battles are fast-paced yet require solid strategy, all of this hooked me on the game. Little by little, I built up my assets and my standing, but there’s definitely one acquisition I made around 2020—if I’m not mistaken—that I liked the most, and it’s currently my most prized treasure in the game. I guess you can’t imagine what I’m talking about, right?
Well, in this post I’ll show you my treasure, which is nothing more than a “Legendary” card from the game’s first edition—and yes, I’m talking about the “Alpha” edition, which has a collectible value that can’t be compared to the rest of the newer cards—even those without black foil or “Arcane” finishes—since, as one of the first cards created with a very limited supply and fewer copies than the rest of the cards produced, it makes it a card that every fan of the game absolutely must have in their deck. The card I’m talking about is the incredible “Lightning Dragon.”

Lightning Dragon: An Icon from the "Origins" of "Praetoria"
As I mentioned, the powerful “Lightning Dragon” is from the first edition of the game, which was the “Alpha.” This edition, unlike the rest, had a very limited supply, so its market value is relatively high; on the other hand, its collectible value is also very high, not to mention that not everyone currently has a “Lightning Dragon” card at its maximum level. However, this card isn’t just a collector’s item—it’s a pretty strong and useful unit on the battlefield. But that’s not all; it can also be used in other modes. Don’t get too excited just yet—I’ll explain what its uses are and where:
Lightning Dragon Usability
As a Worker on the “Plots of Land”: I’d say this is its main use, since it’s a card from an older set—not the “Modern” one—so demand for these cards is pretty low, at least for use in ranked play. I don’t agree with that, though; in my opinion, these cards should be the most expensive of all, even if they’re not in the META. But just because it can be used as a worker doesn’t mean it isn’t good; on the contrary, it’s one of the cards that offers more Production Points (PP) than any other currently in existence, so it can give you more resources on your plots than any other card.
On the battlefield: While it’s not currently part of the meta, that doesn’t mean it’s a weak card; in fact, given how long it’s been around, it remains an extremely strong and quite useful card. Plus, if you play in “Wild Format,” this is one of the best cards you can use on the field, as it offers offensive power and versatility like no other—and even more so when combined with the new cards.
Stat Analysis (Speed and Power) + Abilities
This card specializes in ranged attacks, but it’s also very versatile; however, so as not to give anything away here, let’s take a look at its current stats:
Key Statistics
Mana Cost: It has a mana cost of 7, which is standard for a card of this type. It is a legendary card, and its power and utility make every mana point worth it to play it on the battlefield.
Damage (Range Attack): This card has a range attack of +3 points at its maximum level, which is pretty good if you ask me. The best part is that this attack can be increased, although it depends on how you choose to play it.
Speed: This is one of this card's strengths—it has +6 speed, which is absolutely insane, so it's always among the first to attack. This indirectly helps its "Defense."
Health: It has 7 health points, which is pretty good and perfectly balances the card. It’s not particularly durable, but when combined with its speed, this increases its durability.
Armor: It has none—this is something you should keep in mind. However, if we play it correctly and/or combine it with the right cards or modifiers, we can change that.
Key Abilities
Level 1 (Flying): This ability gives our "Dragon" a 25% chance to dodge attacks, which increases its "Defense" by the same percentage, and in turn its "Attack," making it a very versatile card.
Level 2 (Stun): This ability pairs perfectly with "Lightning Dragon," since its speed and ability to fly give you a 50% chance of stunning your opponent's cards, making it quite difficult for them to dodge your attack.
Level 3 (Piercing): This ability is very powerful and allows our Dragon's attack to pierce through the armor of the cards it targets, so even if they have strong defenses, this card can break through them.
Level 4 (Blast): As if that weren't enough, this card has one of the most destructive abilities in the game: "Blast." This card's attack deals damage to cards adjacent to its original target, so these 3 points of damage—which can be increased—cause massive damage.
Final Thoughts
This card is amazing—it’s my favorite, and I’ve had it for several years. What do you think of this card? I think that, even though it’s an older card, it’s still quite useful. Its abilities are well-balanced. It might not be in the meta, but it’s definitely still one of the strongest cards in the “Wild Format.”
