10 - Thragha - Death Rare

Thragha is a four mana melee monster with a hell of a kit. With three damage and nine health, she also brings Void, Life Leech and Painforged, which will let her grow both her HP and damage through the fight. Additionally, she has Flank, allowing you to put another tank behind her and give it Reach. In the right context, this card can become almost unkillable and carry your team for only four mana.

9 - Caravan Guard - Life Common

Caravan Guard is a low mana ranged monster who brings Headwinds, as well as Triage which will activate twice because of Echo. This card brings an intense level of support for only three mana, being very synergistic in ranged only rulesets as well. It only has five health, three speed and two damage, but if he takes heavy damage he can bring himself back up to full HP within a single turn.

8 - Lucky Longshot - Death Epic

Lucky Longshot is a three mana Weapons Trainer, which makes it the cheapest we have seen so far in terms of mana cost. He gives two ranged and one magic damage, and also brings a Weaken to supplement his kit. This card has many use cases due to its two damage types allowing it to be used in various rulesets. It is also a gnome, and will get great synergy from the archon Razi Clanktrap which gives him both Close Range and Painforged, which would give him +2 damage every time it activates. An extremely powerful combination!

7 - Palifala Weslinath - Life Legendary

Palifala Weslinath is the new version of Olivia of the Brook. He is a Ranged attack monster with Close Range, Sneak as well as Relentless Strike and Mimic. It is this latter ability that makes this card awesome, as he will copy random abilities from the enemy team every turn. Just like Olivia, I expect this card to define the meta and be very dominant, especially paired with Olivia. But that's not all, because this card can be brought to the Death splinter under Razi Clanktrap and receive Painforged, being a gnome.

6 - Craniax the Quick

Craniax the Quick is the only card currently in Splinterlands with the Final Rest ability. This is one of the most powerful abilities in the game, as it stops any ability from triggering upon defeat. This card will block clutch abilities such as Poison Burst, Bloodline Tribute, Martyr, Redemption, Spite and so much more. The rest of the kit is decent, with five ranged damage for six mana, an Impede, Affliction and Backfire. He also brings the very useful Reckless ability, which can trigger Painforged on allied monsters.
