A tough Modern ranked battle with Poison rule

The user is too much busy in grinding life but still I'm here in the battlefield of splinterlands 👋

Every battle taught me something also a friend of mine provide me some notes on splinterlands to read them all and maybe my poor brain get something but still i think that in the game it doesn't matter that you always wins or always lose because it depends not only on our good strategy but our opponent bring some good strategy too as I'm still not holding power in splinterlands.
To be honest, today my bad luck in frontier Ranked as i played four games in frontier Ranked and out of which I coul win only one game. But then i noticed that it's been a long time that I stopped to play in modern Ranked and when i checked my history it's been ten day's since i played modern Ranked battle and i blame my busy schedule but here I'm with a good match in modern Ranked.
Modern ranked match!!!
It was a low mana match for me with only 31 mana cap and i coul hardly choose three cards. Also the rules were not standard as the rule was Noxious fumes that all the cards start with Poison and can reduce it's health. When I saw my opponent he's stronger then me because he has a combo card of death and water summoner. First i thought that I'll loose.
But then i choose my favourite Aurelia as a summoner, it doesn't mean i always win with her but she played good. My strategy was simple.
- First place: Dread Tefarian
- Second place: Mad gearhead
- Third place: Dire Bear 🐻
The strategy which i choose because of restore power of Dread Tefarian and mad gearhead can attack from second position and dire Bear have good health with good.
When the battle start, my dire Bear die in the battlefield as i wasn't expected to lose the card so soon and for a moment i thought now maybe I'll lose because he has three cards and i have two cards remaining.
In round two i lost my one card but mad gearhead and Dread Tefarian fight good and in round three they both finished the all three cards of opponent. Which i can say it's because if restore power of Dread Tefarian.
Here I won the battle but believe me because of Noxious fumes rule the battle was hard and excited too because we both lost our health as Poison spread everywhere.
That's all for today and I'll see you again next week but I'll be happy if you leave any suggestions here or any guidance.

This is best possible setup.
with poison rule you just want your tank with heal survive to the late game and not lost him at start of the battle :)
Dire bear is even better in silver league because have cripple so if opponent play like you here with tank who have heal as first position you will reduce his max hp every time you hit his tank. Bear is faster and deal some damage, when your tank with heal just wait for late game last fight :D

You not need to play like champion to win in bronze, you just need to be little better 😏
I guess so but in the second position I would love to keep something with magic attack. Won't it be better?
If this monster have enough hp but is hard to find monster for low mana with many hp and this monster on 2nd position have reach and can attack from this position.
So these days you are into two battlefields; one is real life and one is spinterlands.
