Splinterlands Share Your Battle Challenge: GOBLIN SHAMAN "Pyre and Shaman Unite"

This week it seems that all the rage is surrounding this evil Goblin whose sole purpose it is to suck the soul out of every body on the opposing team. Wow that's cruel! However, all's fair in love and war so let's see if we can make use of this ability in a way to benefit us.

This guy wore hoodies way before the 90s!

Adter analyzing his mana cost vs his utility, I wanted to find a way to best utilize this for the maximum amount of impact on the fight. Did we succeed?

Ruleset as follows:

... No magic you say? What a perfect time to bring out the FIRE splinter! I still play at level1, and in this context I prefer to use FIRE and DEATH splinters for low Mana matches. It seemed like a perfect opportunity to employ the GOBLIN SHAMAN's evil tactics.

Explanation:

Call me crazy but with the holidays coming up I say "the more the merrier!". I have to admit it was a bit unfortunate that my opponent did not employ more monsters on his field. IN fact, it is even more unfortunately that the Goblin Shaman's life sucking ability only impacted ONE monster on the other side! Whew. So why would I show this battle then? Honestly, this just shows that his small mana cost makes him worth using even when his efficiency is comparably low like here.

Shaman is a good chap and I use him quite frequently.

When I use FIRE splinter, I pay special attention to the glass cannon power of the Serpentine Spy. This is why I put great emphasis on using Pyre for +1 speed to my time, and Creeping Ooze for -1 speed to the opponent. I feel that if Serpentine Spy and his Kobold buddy don't go first... they might not get to go at all.
