Happy Birthday! What a nice gift! Yes, the early season grind up through the ranks can be tough because I keep running into people who have much better decks than I do (there's a slight chance they might actually be better than I am, too....naaahhh) as they grind their way up at the same time. Good payouts though so it's worth it.
It really is amazing though how you can win 5,6,7 in a row and feel like you're turning into a really good player and then "BAM!", you get torched 5 times in a row and it feels like you don't have a clue. lol
The ups and downs are pretty dramatic. Fun, though. Especially since it's also profitable. :-)
Yes, the first few days of the season is so frustrating I almost throw my mouse,LOL. Luckily I stumbled upon a post by @pogier on alternative for Kelp Initiate that helped me won a few winning streak as well.
