Arcade Colony: Are You Ready for the Fork + Airdrop?

On February 26, 2024 at 12:00 EST the distribution of tokens of the new Arcade Colony game platform will begin.

Arcade Colony is a game platform in development, there is no release date yet but LAUNCHING SOON is highlighted at https://www.arcadecolony.com/.

The tokens of the Arcade Colony platform are two:

  • COLONY: Arcade Colony's gorvernance tokens (equivalent to SPS tokens on Splinterlands and GLX tokens on Genesis League Sports).
  • SCRIPT: stable currency of Arcade Colony (equivalent to DEC tokens (Splinterlands) and GLUSD tokens (Genesis League Sports)

The Whitepaper lists all future use cases for these two tokens.

The Max Supply of COLONY tokens is 21 billion tokens, and distribution will take place according to the methods you can see in the image below.

More than half of the total supply will be distributed as Play to Earn Rewards.
1 BILLION COLONY will be distributed through a FORK + AIRDROP (February 26 - 12:00 AM EST).

The FORK will distribute COLONY tokens and SCRIPT tokens and at the FORK will be able to participate:

  • the GLX stakeholders - minimum entry requirement 10K GLX staked in the in-game wallet on Genesis League Goals
  • the GLUSD holders - minimum entry requirement 100 GLUSD in the in-game wallet on Genesis League Goals
  • the liquidity providers of the Hive Diesel Pools: Swap.Hive:GLX, SPS:GLX, GLX:GLUSD, SWAP.HIVE:GLUSD, DEC:GLUSD, GLX:GLUSD

Liquidity providers must also pass minimum requirements to participate in the FORK.

Immediately after the Fork will begin the Daily AIRDROP of COLONY tokens that will last 5 years.
In the AIRDROP of the COLONY tokens will be able to participate:

  • the GLX stakeholders - minimum entry requirement 10K GLX staked in the in-game wallet on Genesis League Goals
  • the SPS stakeholders - minimum entry requirement 5K SPS staked in the in-game wallet on Splinterlands

My preparation for the FORK + AIRDROP

Tomorrow is Sunday and it is the day I devote completely to my family, and on Monday morning I will be busy for work, so I started preparing today for the Fork + Airdrop.

To prepare for the Fork today I staked all the GLX liquids I had on Genesis League Goals and on Hive Engine.

I now have 31903.62 GLX staked and if I do not increase this amount before the Fork snapshot I will receive 31903.62 COLONY

Regarding the GLUSD tokens today I only had 19.04 GLUSD in my in-game wallet on Genesis League Goals and therefore did not meet the minimum requirement to receive SCRIPT tokens.

To meet the requirement for the Fork today I purchased 81 GLUSD.

Before purchasing 81 GLUSDs I compared the purchase costs using Hive Engine or using the SWAP from the SWAP.HIVE:GLUSD pool and chose to purchase 81 GLUSDs using SWAP because the cost difference was large and I saved about 16 SWAP.HIVE.

Tip: When you have to purchase a token I recommend that you compare the cost of all available purchase options and if the token is in a pool check the cost you get by using the SWAP feature of the pool ;)

I transferred 81 GLUSD from my Hive Engine wallet to my in-game wallet on GLG and now have 100.04 GLUSD and have therefore met the minimum requirement to receive 100 SCRIPT from the Fork.

I have also put up for sale the Genesis League Goals cards that I don't use to play and if I sell some cards before the snapshot I can get more SCRIPTs.

Regarding the AIRDROP of COLONY tokens I will participate with my GLX staked and also with my SPS staked.

In addition to being a Genesis League Goals player I am also a Splinterlands player and in my in-game wallet I have 82782 SPS staked

I could increase the amount of staked SPS tokens by about +5260 SPS if I removed the liquidity from the PKM:SPS diesel pool and did the swap of PKM tokens into SPS.

This is an option I might choose but I will decide only when the airdrop has started and I can compare the APR of the pool with the APR of the airdrop.

Over the next few days I will continue to play on Genesis League Goals to increase my amount of GLX tokens that I will be staking before the snapshot starts and I will continue to enjoy playing battles on Splinterlands to increase the amount of SPS tokens in my possession which will be very useful for airdrop of COLONY tokens.

I will end this post by sharing the video presentation of the Moon Kart game that is under development and will be the first game of the Arcade Colony platform.

I tokens della piattaforma Arcade Colony sono due:

  • COLONY: i gorvernance token di Arcade Colony (equivalenti ai token SPS su Splinterlands e ai token GLX su Genesis League Sports)

La mia preparazione per il FORK + AIRDROP

Domani è domenica ed è il giorno che dedico completamente alla mia famiglia e lunedì mattina sarò impegnato per lavoro e per questo motivo ho iniziato a prepararmi oggi per il Fork + Airdrop.

Per prepararmi al Fork oggi ho messo in staking tutti gli GLX liquidi che avevo su Genesis League Goals e su Hive Engine.

Adesso ho 31903.62 GLX staked e se non aumento questo quantitativo prima dello snapshot del Fork riceverò 31903.62 COLONY

Per quanto riguarda i token GLUSD oggi avevo solo 19.04 GLUSD nel mio in-game wallet su Genesis League Goals e quindi non soddisfavo il requisito minimo per ricevere i token SCRIPT.

Per soddisfare il requisito per il Fork oggi ho acquistato 81 GLUSD.

Prima di acquistare 81 GLUSD ho confrontato i costi di acquisto utilizzando Hive Engine o utilizzando lo SWAP della pool SWAP.HIVE:GLUSD e ho scelto di acquistare 81 GLUSD utilizzando lo SWAP perchè la differenza di costo era ampia e ho risparmiato circa 16 SWAP.HIVE.

Consiglio: Quando devi acquistare un token ti consiglio di confrontare il costo di tutte le opzioni di acquisto disponibili e se il token è presente in una pool verifica il costo che ottieni utilizzando la funzionalità SWAP della pool ;)

Ho trasferito 81 GLUSD dal mio Hive Engine wallet al mio in-game wallet su GLG e adesso ho 100.04 GLUSD e ho quindi soddisfatto il requisito minimo per ottenere 100 SCRIPT dal Fork.

Ho anche messo in vendita le carte di Genesis League Goals che non utilizzo per giocare e se venderò qualche carta prima dello snapshot potrò ricevere altri SCRIPT.

Per quanto riguarda l'AIRDROP dei token COLONY parteciperò con i miei GLX staked e anche con i miei SPS staked.

Oltre ad essere un giocatore di Genesis League Goals sono anche un giocatore di Splinterlands e nel mio in-game wallet ho 82782 SPS staked

Potrei aumentare il quantitativo di token SPS staked di circa +5260 SPS se rimuovessi la liquidità dalla diesel pool PKM:SPS e se facessi lo swap dei token PKM in SPS.

Questa è un opzione che potrei scegliere ma deciderò solo quando l'airdrop sarà iniziato e potrò confrontare l'APR della pool con l'APR dell'airdrop.

Nei prossimi giorni continuerò a giocare su Genesis League Goals per aumentare il mio quantitativo di token GLX che metterò in staking prima dell'inizio dello snapshot e continuerò a divertirmi a giocare le battaglie su Splinterlands per aumentare il quantitativo di token SPS in mio possesso che mi sarà molto utile per l'airdrop dei token COLONY.

On Genesis League Goals matches can be played in autobattler mode, when time runs out the choice with higher probability is made, or actively. When I don't have time I click compete and then see the result at the end of the match;)

I finally played my first round of this game and lost

XP points and synergy are important elements in winning matches.
In the beginning I also used to lose almost every match but if you keep playing the game the wins will also start coming as XP points increase and your team's synergy increases ;)

Di GLX ne ho purtroppo troppo pochi (meno di 800) ma con gli SPS ci rientro nei requisiti, per cui qualche ricompensa mi arriverà :) probabilmente all'inizio venderò tutti per aumentare gli SPS che possiedo, per cui mi sorge una domanda: dove sono airdroppati i token COLONY? Direttamente nei nostri wallet su Hive-engine o su una piattaforma diversa come per Genesis League Soccer?

Good luck with the fork/airdrop.

I am participating via GLUSD in-game in GLG and via two liquidity pools DEC:GLUSD and Swap.Hive:GLX.

I sold up the CL pack that I bought on CL release and have been holding for future sale , but that looks like a bad move now, and there is a long way to go until the hit the $4 I paid for them.

I decided to liquidate the packs ( Got about $0.85 each for them and put the capital to work where it can make a return now, and if I want I can buy back my packs later ( that looks like a move I am not inclined to make now)

Unfortunately the timing of the fork is bad for me, I will be travelling for work on the 26th and for a few days after, so I am going to be vulnerable to the probable drop in GLUSD and GLX price after the fork. I have Hive Keychain on my phone, but that has not worked well with BeesSwap in the past, maybe I can try Tribaldex, but I think I am going to be late to exit the pools.

I can't see that working well for me, but c'est la vie, hopefully the COLONY and SCRIPT I recieve will offset my loss for being late out of the pools ( should also capture some trading fees in all the activity).

One area of uncertainty for me is the weak visibility on timings and progress, we seem to be getting a lot of "soon" again. No date for the MoonKarts site being up, no date for receipt of fork tokens, no time for fork to complete and no date for when the new LP's with Colony and script will be live.

I guess it is what it is, and is the way that Aggy has rolled in the past, we accept the risk for the hope of gains, and buy into the FOMO ;-p.

I might even stake my GLX in-game for Colony airdrops. I will get some also for my 45k staked SPS.

All in all, I think there is a fair chance I come out in profit, although I won't be able to optimise that level in all likelihood

Scusa l'OT, ma è la maniera migliore per contattarti: oggi i swap su hive-engine risultano impossibili, come da allegato:

Il rettangolo rosso, come puoi vedere, non è cliccabile perchè non compare l'importo finale (resta azzerato a dispetto dell'importo correto da swappare). Sai dirmi se è un bug temporaneo o c'è qualche chiusura di hive-engine in previsione?

Ps.: premetto che non posso più fare uso di tribaldex nè della funzione trade di hive-engine sin dalla mai poco disprezzabile nuova legge per la quale vorrei oramai solo andarmene da questo paese

Potrebbe essere un bug temporaneo oppure un problema temporaneo del nodo che usi su Hive Engine.
In alternativa puoi usare la funzione SWAP di Hive Keychain che è comodissima anche se ha delle fee

Per i nodi non posso farci nulla: tutte le volte che ho provato a cambiarli, nulla di fatto. L'operazione non sortisce effetto (posso solo provare a cambiare dispositivo: sto su linux e posso vedere su windows). Dove trovo la funzione swaps su keychain?

Ok, grazie, trovato, ma c'è un problema: non mi fa vedere l'importo iniziale e finale in dollari dell'uno e dell'altro token per poter calcolare l'eventuale guadagno o perdita dal swap (indispensabile a causa della nuova legge: devo swappare 1:1 o in perdita per evitare di dover compilare dichiarazioni dei redditi mensili e emettere fatturazioni) come mi faceva vedere hive-engine. Spero sia un bug temporaneo e risolvano.
