I Love New Ranked System!
The new Ranked System is active for a little over two days now and has brought a great simplification in the game dynamics because now a player does not have to evaluate the purchase of a card based on the usable stats and abilities in the league in which he plays but only has to consider the maximum stastics of a card based on the level of his summoner which is now the only limitation that precludes a monster card from being used to its full potential.
The new Ranked System has not only brought simplification but has also produced an immediate improvement in my game results.
In fact, I finished the previous season (season 129) in the Silver I league of the Modern Format with a score of rating = 1615
In the current season (season 130) after a little more than 2 days I am in Silver I with a rating = 1610, only 5 rating points less than my final result in the previous season, and I have already earned 19 season chests compared to the 50 season chests I earned in the previous season.

My win rate is much higher than the win rate I got in the whole previous season: 59.38% vs 42.53%
The new Ranked System could speed up the achievement of my main gaming goal: to return to playing stably in Modern Format's Gold+ leagues from the beginning to the end of seasons.
The new Ranked System has also rivitalized the card market and especially the summoner market.
In fact, it is enough to look at the Trend of Summoner cards in the Chaos Legion set (Low BCX) compared to a month ago to see that the demand for Summoner cards in the market has increased.
In my Chaos Legion + Riftwatchers + Rebellion collection I have:
- 6 maximum level summoners
- 76 maximum level cards
My goal in the coming days will be to add at least one more maximum level summoner to my collection of summoners that can be used in the Modern Format.
I like the summoners from the Rebellion set but they still cost so much because there are few copies available on the market compared to the other sets, so I decided to focus on the summoners from the Chaos Legion set.
My next upgrade goal is Possibilus the Wise: level 3 -> level 4.
With my level 3 Possibilys the Wise, I cannot use the maximum level monster cards I have in my collection and this is a limitation for me in the new Ranked System.
In order to reach my upgrade goal, I need to purchase another 5 BCX.
To purchase 5 BCXs immediately would cost me $52.98 = $10,598 per BCX
I decided to try to save some money ($9.80 for BCX instead of $10.59 for BCX) by placing a BID purchase offer via the Make Bid feature of Peakmonsters.
I chose Possibilus the Wise as my short-term upgrade target because it is a summoner that I like and use in battle and also because it is one of the summoners that has increased its price by a small amount in a 180-day time frame.
Today I also put up for sale some cards that I don't use in battle.
For example, I put up for sale ZYVAX VUUL which is the only legendary card in the Chaos Legion set that I never use in battle because it is only useful in the presence of a few rulesets (e.g. Going to Distance) and because I have cards with much better stats.
I have also decided to put 2 BCX of Astral Entity up for sale because I do not currently have the liquidity to upgrade this summoner to the highest level and I have other purchase goals that have a higher priority.
I have removed my two copies from the rental market and when they become available to me again I will offer them for sale.
I will end this post of mine by sharing my last three battles played in the Silver I league of the Modern Format to show how important it is in the new Ranked System to have high or maximum level summoners and monster cards.

Io amo il nuovo Ranked System!
Il nuovo Ranked System è attivo da poco più di due giorni e ha portato una grande semplificazione nelle dinamiche di gioco perchè adesso un giocatore non deve valutare l'acquisto di una carta in base alle statistiche e abilità utilizzabili nella lega in cui gioca ma deve considerare solo le stastiche massime di una carta in base al livello del suo evocatore che adesso è l'unico limite che impedisce ad una carta mostro di essere utilizzata al massimo delle sue potenzialità.
Il nuovo Ranked System non ha portato solo semplificazione ma ha prodotto anche un miglioramento immediato dei miei risultati di gioco.
Infatti ho terminato la stagione precedente (la stagione 129) in lega Silver I del Modern Format con un punteggio di rating = 1615
Nella stagione in corso (la stagione 130) dopo poco più di 2 giorni sono in Silver I con un punteggio di rating = 1610, solo 5 punti di rating in meno del mio risultato finale nella stagione precedente e ho già guadagnato 19 forzieri stagionali rispetto ai 50 forzieri stagionali che ho guadagnato nella stagione precedente.

Il mio win rate è molto più alto del win rate che ho ottenuto in tutta la stagione precedente: 59.38% vs 42.53%
Il nuovo Ranked System potrebbe velocizzare il raggiungimento del mio obiettivo principale di gioco: tornare a giocare stabilmente nelle leghe Gold+ del Modern Format dall'inizio alla fine delle stagioni.
Il nuovo Ranked System ha anche rivitalizzato il mercato delle carte e soprattutto il mercato degli evocatori.
Infatti è sufficiente guardare il Trend delle carte Evocatore del set Chaos Legion (Low BCX) rispetto ad un mese fa per notare che è aumentata la richiesta delle carte Evocatore sul mercato.
Nella mia collezione Chaos Legion + Riftwatchers + Rebellion ho:
- 6 maximum level summoners
- 76 maximum level cards
Il mio obiettivo nei prossimi giorni sarà quello di aggiungere almeno un altro evocatore di massimo livello.
Gli evocatori del set Rebellion mi piacciono ma constano ancora tanto perchè ci sono poche copie disponibili sul mercato rispetto agli altri set e per questo ho deciso di focalizzarmi sugli evocatori del set Chaos Legion.
Il mio prossimo obiettivo di upgrade è Possibilus the Wise: level 3 -> level 4
Con il mio Possibilys the Wise di livello 3 non posso utilizzare le carte mostro di livello massimo che ho nella mia collezione e questo è un limite per me nel nuovo Ranked System.
Per raggiungere il mio obiettivo di upgrade devo acquistare altri 5 BCX.
Acquistare subito 5 BCX mi costerebbe 52.98$ = 10.598$ per BCX
Ho deciso di provare a risparmiare qualcosa (9.80$ per BCX invece di 10.59$ per BCX) piazzando un'offerta di acquisto BID tramite la funzionalità Make Bid di Peakmonsters.
Ho scelto Possibilus the Wise come mio obiettivo di upgrade di breve termine perchè è un evocatore che mi piace e che uso in battaglia e anche perchè è uno degli evocatori che ha aumentato di poco il suo prezzo in un intervallo di tempo di 180 giorni.
Oggi ho anche messo in vendita alcune carte che non uso in battaglia.
Ad esempio ho messo in vendita ZYVAX VUUL che è l'unica carta leggendaria del set Chaos Legion che non uso mai in battaglia perchè è utile solo in presenza di poche rulesets (ad esempio Going to Distance) e perchè ho carte con statistiche decisamente migliori.
Ho deciso di mettere in vendita anche 2 BCX di Astral Entity perchè non ho al momento la liquidità per portare questo evocatore al massimo livello e ho altri obiettivi di acquisto che hanno una priorità più alta.
Ho rimosso le mie due copie dal mercato del noleggio e quando ritorneranno a mia disposizione le metterò in vendita.
Concludo questo mio post condividendo le mie ultime tre battaglie giocate nella lega Silver I del Modern Format per mostrare quanto è importante nel nuovo Ranked System avere evocatori e carte mostro di livello alto o massimo.

I don't know if I like the new system at all. It's working quite well for you but I have dropped to Silver III and fighting max level decks in Silver III is rough. I do agree that it does add demand for cards though because anything that isn't close to max will suffer quite a bit.
Yes not having maxxed cards now produces worse results in all leagues lower than Champion but this is a temporary effect because those with maxed cards will advance and should stay in the higher leagues.
Looking at the medium to long term this system will only benefit because it is simpler than the previous system that required reasoning about league cap and usable statistics at certain levels every time.
