July will be a very important month for the Splinterlands ecosystem because on the 1st of August the development phase "Age Of The Phoenix" will end, which will introduce many changes including:

• the start of Phase 1.5 of the Lands
• the introduction of anti-bots measures in the Modern Format ranked battles
• the release of the new Tower Defense game: Soulkeep.

I am a Splinterlands player since 18 October 2019 and I am interested in all the new features that will be introduced in July but I am particularly happy about the introduction of anti-bots measures in the ranked battles of the Modern format.

I have always considered bots a big problem for Splinterlands and also a problem for me because since the number of bots has increased, my enjoyment has decreased.

I have always played in the Wild Format except for two seasons when I tested and played the same number of battles in the two formats Wild and Modern to compare rewards and game dynamics in the two formats.

After my two tests (January 2023 and February 2023) I had decided to play only in Wild Format because the SPS token rewards per win were greater than in Modern Format.

The SPS token rewards per win are still greater in Wild Format today, but I decided to switch to Modern Format immediately for the following reasons:

• when the anti-bots measures are introduced in Modern Format I want to be ready without having to start in the lower leagues (Bronze+)
• I want to be able to compare the game results and rewards of at least one season with bots with one season without bots and only by starting now will I be able to make this comparison.

I finished my last season in the Wild Format in the Gold II league with a rating of 2388 points, only 12 points behind the Gold I league.

I am happy to have found 3 copies of the legendary card Aves Sturgis in the Gold version.

With 4 copies I'd be able to upgrade Aves Sturgis to max level immediately, but I'm hoping to find the copy I'm missing in the future because I don't have any life element cards with the Weapon Training ability and Aves Sturgis will be useful in battles that have certain rulesets.

I decided to do the upgrade to level 3 immediately: +1 magic attack point +Divine Shield ability.

I now have 3 Reward Soulbound legendary cards:

• Ferexian Hero - level 2 (Regular)
• Drybone Raider - level 1 (Regular)
• Aves Sturgis - level 3 (Gold)

In the following image you can see my progress in the Soulbound Reward Card Accumulation (source: Splintercards).

My new gaming adventure in the Modern league started in the Bronze I league which I was not used to playing at all because I played for so many seasons in the Gold+ leagues of the Wild Format.

After the first 36 battles played I was still in league Bronze I with 21 battles won and 15 battles lost.

Reviewing some of the battles I lost I could see that I made a lot of mistakes because I could have chosen better cards but I need time to adapt to the Modern format where I can't use my Beta edition cards that I used a lot before.

It took me 48 battles to leave the Bronze I league and enter the Silver III league.

After overcoming the Bronze I league obstacle I improved my win rate and today I ended the game day with a rating of 1150 points and 34 battles won out of 54 battles played.

Today I also tried in three battles in the Bronze league I Aves Sturgis but with not very positive results but I think this card will come in much more useful when I play in the Gold+ leagues.

In the following picture you can see a battle with the Keep Your Distance ruleset in which I used Aves Sturgis in combination with the non-attack cards Pecalor Conjurer and Kra'Ar Xoc.

I think that the Keep Your Distance battle rule is one of the favourable battle rules for using Aves Sturgis, and in fact the battle I showed you earlier ended with my victory on turn 6 of Round 4.

Starting this season my game goal will be to reach at least the Diamond I league of Modern Format which would allow me to start the next season from the Diamond III league.

I conclude this post with an update on my two main buying goals that I had set and shared 8 days ago in this post: From Wild to Modern: My Road to Diamond I and My Card Collection Optimization: Sell and Buy!

My two purchase goals were:

• Oshuur Constantia of level 3.
• Vruz of level 8

For both Vruz and Oshuur Constantia I had made bids using the Make Bid functionality of Peakmonsters

I only achieved one purchase goal: Vruz of level 8.

I consider Vruz of level 8 a very useful card in battle because it is a very versatile card and plays well in battles with different rulesets and I am glad I added this card to my collection.

Regarding Oshur Constantia I was only able to purchase 2 BCX of the 6 BCX I need to reach my upgrade goal.

I'm in no hurry and I'm not giving up and today I raised my purchase offer again to try to reach my purchase goal sooner.

Now that I have permanently switched to the Modern Format I have 244 cards = 2353 BCX of the Beta edition that I will not be able to use in ranked battles of the Modern Format.

I will put all my Beta cards available for rent and with the profit I will continue to buy/upgrade cards that can be used in Modern Format ranked battles.

Il report della mia ultima stagione in Wild e il mio passaggio definitivo nel Modern Format (aspettando l'introduzione delle misure anti-bots)

Il mese di luglio sarà un mese molto importante per l'ecosistema di Splinterlands perchè il 1 primo agosto terminerà la fase di sviluppo "Age Of The Phoenix" che introdurrà tanti cambiamenti tra cui:

• l'inizio della fase 1.5 delle Lands
• l'intoduzione delle misure anti-bots nelle ranked battles del Modern Format
• il rilascio del nuovo gioco Tower Defense: Soulkeep.

Sono un giocatore di Splinterlands dal 18 ottobre del 2019 e sono interessato a tutte le novità che saranno introdotte nel mese di luglio ma sono particolarmente contento dell'introduzione delle misure anti-bots nelle ranked battles del Modern format.

Ho sempre considerato i bots un grande problema per Splinterlands e anche un problema per me perchè da quando il numero dei bots è aumentato è diminuito il mio divertimento.

Ho sempre giocato nel Wild Format tranne in due stagioni in cui ho fatto dei test e ho giocato lo stesso numero di battaglie nei due formati Wild e Modern per confrontare ricompense e dinamiche di gioco nei due formati.

Dopo i miei due test avevo deciso di giocare solo nel Wild Format perchè le ricompense in token SPS per ogni vittoria erano maggiori rispetto al Modern Format.

Le ricompense in token SPS per vittoria sono maggiori ancora oggi nel Wild Format ma io ho deciso di fare subito il passaggio al Modern Format per i seguenti motivi:

• quando le misure anti-bots saranno introdotte nel Modern Format voglio trovarmi già pronto senza dover partire dalle leghe più basse (Bronze+)
• voglio poter confrontare i risultati di gioco e le ricompense di almeno una stagione con i bots con una stagione senza bots e solo iniziando adesso potrò fare questo confronto.

Ho terminato la mia ultima stagione nel Wild Format nella lega Gold II con un puteggio di rating di 2388 punti, a soli 12 punti dalla lega Gold I.

Sono contento di aver trovato 3 copie della carta leggendaria Aves Sturgis in versione Gold.

Con 4 copie sarei stato in grado di potenziare subito Aves Sturgis al livello massimo ma spero di trovare la copia che mi manca in futuro perchè non ho carte dell'elemento vita con l'abilità Weapon Training e Aves Sturgis potrà essermi utile in battaglie che hanno determinate rulesets.

Ho deciso di fare subito l'upgrade al livello 3: +1 punto di attacco magico +Divine Shield ability

Adesso ho 3 carte leggendarie Reward Soulbound:

• Ferexian Hero - level 2 (Regular)
• Drybone Raider - level 1 (Regular)
• Aves Sturgis - level 3 (Gold)

La mia nuova avventura di gioco nella lega Modern è iniziata dalla lega Bronze I a cui non ero per niente abituato a giocare perchè ho giocato per tante stagioni nelle leghe Gold+ del Wild Format.

Dopo le prime 36 battaglie giocate ero ancora in lega Bronze I con 21 battaglie vinte e 15 battaglie perse.

Rivendendo alcune battaglie che ho perso ho potuto notare che ho fatto molti errori perchè potevo scegliere carte migliori ma ho bisogno di tempo per adattarmi al formato Modern dove non posso utilizzare le mie carte dell'edizione Beta che invece utilizzavo molto prima.

Per abbandonare la lega Bronze I e per entrare nella lega Silver III ho impiegato 48 battaglie.

Superato lo scoglio della lega Bronze I ho migliorato il mio win rate e oggi ho chiuso la giornata di gioco con un punteggio di rating di 1150 punti e 34 battaglie vinte su 54 battaglie giocate.

Oggi ho anche provato in tre battaglie della lega Bronze I Aves Sturgis ma con risultati non molto positivi ma penso che questa carta mi tornerà molto più utile quando giocherò nelle leghe Gold+.

Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere una battaglia con la ruleset Keep Your Distance in cui ho utilizzato Aves Sturgis in combinazione con le carte senza attacco: Pecalor Conjurer e Kra'Ar Xoc.

Penso che la regola di battaglia Keep Your Distance sia una delle regole di battaglia favorevoli all'utilizzo di Aves Sturgis e infatti la battaglia che ti ho mostrato prima è terminata con una mia vittoria al 6° turno del Round 4.

A partire da questa stagione il mio obiettivo di gioco sarà raggiungere almeno la lega Diamond I del Modern Format che mi permetterebbe di ripartire nella stagione successiva dalla lega Diamond III.

Concludo questo post con un aggiornamento sui miei due obiettivi di acquisto principali che avevo fissato e condiviso 8 giorni fa in questo post: From Wild to Modern: My Road to Diamond I and My Card Collection Optimization: Sell and Buy!

I miei due obiettivi di acquisto erano:

• Oshuur Constantia of level 3.
• Vruz of level 8

Sia per Vruz che per Oshuur Constantia avevo effettuato delle offerte di acquisto utilizzando la funzionalità Make Bid di Peakmonsters

Ho raggiunto solo un obiettivo di acquisto: Vruz di livello 8

Considero Vruz di livello 8 una carta molto utile in battaglia perchè è una carta molto versatile e gioca bene in battaglie che hanno diverse rulesets e sono contento di aver aggiunto questa carta alla mia collezione.

Per quanto riguarda Oshur Costantia sono riuscito ad acquistare solo 2 BCX dei 6 BCX che mi servono per raggiungere il mio obiettivo di upgrade.

Non ho fretta e non demordo e oggi ho alzato nuovamente la mia offerta di acquisto per cercare di raggiungere prima il mio obiettivo di acquisto.

Adesso che sono passato definitivamente nel Formato Modern ho 244 carte = 2353 BCX dell'edizione Beta che non potrò utilizzare nelle ranked battles del Modern Format.

Metterò tutte le mie carte Beta disponibili per il noleggio e con il guadagno che otterrò continuerò ad acquistare/potenziare le carte utilizzabili nelle ranked battles del Modern Format.
