11 days have passed from the start of the general sale of the new Rebellion set (December 5, 2023).

During the presale I purchased from Hive Engine 40 Rebellion packs that I opened on the first day of the general sale.

The Rebellion Packs for sale on the first day of the general sale were a total of 9.5 million but starting December 5, a burning mechanism was activated that eliminates 90% of the unsold portion of a 25K pack quantity every day.

In most probability this burning mechanism will greatly decrease the final total number of Rebellion packs in circulation, and for this reason there should not be the negative effects produced by the huge number of Chaos Legion packs put on sale during the General Sale of the Chaos Legion set.

In fact, after 11 days 209,925 Rebellion Packs have been burned, which corresponds to 2.09% of the total initial supply of Rebellion packs = 10 million packs (Presale + General Sale).

The daily burn mechanism and the new card airdrop mechanism (Conflict) starting in January will support the value of Rebellion packs and cards, which are not expected to experience large decreases in value in the short term.

After 11 days since the presale began:

• the market value of Rebellion packs on Hive Engine has increased: 3.59$ -> 3.80$
• the estimated value of Rebellion packs has increased: 3.83$ -> 4.06$

If the estimated value of a pack is greater than its cost, it means that buying packs might be a good idea.

Obviously the term estimated indicates a value that is not certain because in opening packs luck plays a key role and because the market can be unpredictable but estimated value is certainly a good starting point for applying a purchase/investment strategy.

Based on the current market conditions of Rebellion cards and packs the my buying strategy for the Rebellion set will be as follows:

• as long as the estimated value of a Rebellion pack is greater than the purchase price I will prefer to buy packs instead of cards from the market.
• I will open all the packs I purchase and sell all the Gold cards and all the cards I would rarely use in game battles.

I hope this strategy will allow me to build a Rebellion deck at a lower cost.

Of course, my strategy might turn out to be wrong in the future, and so, as always, my strategy is not financial advice and you should always make your own personal assessments before buying the assets of a blockchain-based game ;)

Based on my strategy today I decided to buy another 30 Rebellion packs.

To choose where to buy the Rebellion packs I calculated the dollar cost of 1 Rebellion pack based on the different purchase options that can be chosen today December 16, 2023 and based on the market values of the tokens that can be used to buy the packs.

To purchase a Rebellion pack from the Splinterlands site it is best to use 5000 DEC + 5 VOUCHER and the cost per pack is = $4,1266

You can also purchase 1 Rebellion pack from the internal Market in Splinterlands (Other Items section) and the cost per pack is = 3.88$

Buying a Rebellion pack from Hive Engine/TribalDex/BeeSwap has a cost = 10.72 SWAP.HIVE = $3.79

The only way to purchase a Rebellion pack at a cost less than $3.79 is to purchase 500 or 2000 packs in a single transaction from the Shop section of Splinterlands and in this case the cost per pack is:

• = 3.76$ per pack (purchase of 500+ packs)
• = 3.61$ per pack (purchase of 2000+ packs)

So today December 16, 2023 the best option to purchase Rebellion packs in quantities less than 500 units is to purchase from Hive Engine/TribalDex/BeeSwap and the cost per pack is = $3.79.

To purchase 30 Rebellion packs on Hive Engine I spent 321.80 SWAP.HIVE

According to my strategy I should open the packs right away and I should sell the cards that I will not need immediately in my game battles in the Modern Format Gold leagues but I will wait until tonight because opening packs is something my daughter Chiara who is 10 years old likes very much and opening Splinterlands packs is something we always do together.

In my next post I will show all the cards I found inside the 30 packs and I will also calculate the financial results I obtained from opening the 30 packs I bought today.

Today I put up for sale all the Gold cards I found in the 40 Rebellion packs I opened on December 5.

If I successfully sell all these cards I will have a value of about $90 to reinvest in the purchase of Rebellion packs and in the future purchase of Rebellion cards from the market.

To date I have already sold more than 40 Rebellion cards and will continue to do so until I have reached my purchase goals for the Rebellion set and then until I have the Rebellion cards in my collection that I like best.

On Splinterlands my main focus is on increasing the battle strength of my card collection because I enjoy playing battles in the Modern Format against real players like myself.
For this reason I prefer to sell Gold cards that I would not use in battle because they are too low level for my league to buy Regular cards that I can use immediately in battle.

I am basically not a collector but an addicted Splinterlands player! :)

My season 124 in the modern format: Results and Considerations

Yesterday December 15 ended season number 124 which was the first season during which Untamed cards came out of Modern Format and Rebellion cards entered.

My game results were worse than in the pre-season.
I think what negatively affected my playing results was more the exit of the Untamed cards from Modern Format and not the entry of the Rebellion cards.

In my collection I have some very strong and useful Untamed cards in battle including Byzantine Kitty level 3 which is in my opinion the most useful and versatile summoner even considering the new Rebellion summoners.

Using only my Chaos Legion card collection and only occasionally some Rebellion cards my win rate in season 124 has decreased compared to season 123

My win rate has decreased by -4.46% but I hope soon to have Rebellion cards to use profitably in my game battles ;)

There is also to say that in each season I could always do better if I just decrease the percentage of battles I lose without deploying my formation but I always have little time and when I play on Splinterlands I always and simultaneously do at least one other activity :)

I finished season 124 in league Gold II with a rating = 2459.

For the first time in many seasons (precisely hasn't happened since season 114), in season 125 I started in the Silver I league.

Compared with the previous season, the total number of SPS tokens that I earned as rewards from my battle victories has also decreased, but I still consider my season result a good one.
In season 124 I earned 423.03 SPS from battles won = $12.65

The very positive note that I record in season 124 is that although I obtained and opened fewer Gold chests than in the previous two seasons and found no Chaos Legion packs in season 124, the total dollar value of my seasonal rewards increased by almost $4.
This is the positive effect due to the increased value of SPS tokens.

In season 121 I opened 160 Gold chests -> total value: $12.36
In season 122 I opened 186 Gold coffers -> total value: $14.19
In season 123 I opened 145 Gold chests -> total value: $13.37
In season 124 I opened 135 Gold chests -> total value: $17.01

I was hoping to find more soulbound cards of summoner type and especially of legendary rarity but that was not the case.
However, I am glad that I found 1 BCX of the legendary card Drybone Raider which allowed me to upgrade to level 2.

During season 124 I made progress in accumulating and upgrading soulbound cards:

• Common Regular: 52% -> 54%
• Common Gold: 17% -> 18%
• Rare Regular: 43% -> 45%
• Rare Gold: 20%
• Epic Regular: 31% -> 33%
• Epic Gold: 6%
• Legendary Regular: 16% -> 17%
• Legendary Gold: 10%

I continue to set growth goals on Splinterlands, hope that bots will be eliminated completely from Splinterlands, continue to increase the battle strength of my usable card collection in Modern Format where there are no bots, and look forward with much excitement to the fully playable versions of Genesis League Soccer and Soulkeep that will expand the Splinterlands ecosystem

La mia strategia di acquisto per il set Rebellion: Vendere Carte e Acquistare Pacchetti + Calcolo del Costo per Pacco + I miei risultati nella stagione 124 giocata nel Modern Format

Sono trascorsi 11 giorni dall'inizio della general sale del nuovo set Rebellion (5 dicembre 2023).

Durante la presale ho acquistato da Hive Engine 40 pacchi Rebellion che ho aperto il primo giorno della General Sale.

I Rebellion Packs in vendita il primo giorno della general sale erano in totale 9.5 milioni ma a partire dal 5 dicembre è stato attivato un meccanismo di bruciatura che eliminerà ogni giorno il 90% della parte non venduta di un quantitativo di 25K pacchi.

Con molta probabilità questo meccanismo di bruciatura diminuirà di molto il numero totale finale dei pacchi Rebellion in circolazione e per questo motivo non dovrebbero esserci gli effetti negativi prodotti dall'enorme numero di pacchi Chaos Legion messi in vendita durante la General Sale del set Chaos Legion.

Infatti dopo 11 giorni sono stati bruciati 209.925 Rebellion Packs che corrispondono al 2.09% della total supply iniziale dei pacchi Rebellion = 10 milioni di pacchi (Presale + General Sale).

Il meccanismo di bruciatura giornaliero e il nuovo meccanismo di airdrop delle carte (Conflict) che inizierà a gennaio supporteranno il valore dei pacchi e delle carte Rebellion che non dovrebbero subire forti diminuzioni di valore nel breve periodo.

Dopo 11 giorni dall'inizio della presale:

• è aumentato il valore di mercato dei Rebellion packs su Hive Engine: 3.59$ -> 3.80$
• è aumentato il valore stimato dei Rebellion packs: 3.83$ -> 4.06$

Se il valore stimato di un pacco è maggiore del suo costo vuol dire che acquistare i pacchi potrebbe essere una buona idea.

Ovviamente il termine stimato indica un valore non certo perchè nell'apertura dei pacchi la fortuna gioca un ruolo fondamentale ma il valore stimato è certamente un buon punto di partenza per applicare una strategia di acquisto/investimento.

In base alle condizioni attuali di mercato delle carte e dei pacchi Rebellion la mia strategia di acquisto per il set Rebellion sarà la seguente:

• fin quando il valore stimato di un pacco Rebellion sarà maggiore del prezzo di acquisto preferirò acquistare i pacchi invece delle carte dal mercato.
• aprirò tutti i pacchi che acquisterò e venderò tutte le carte Gold e tutte le carte che utilizzerei raramente nelle battaglie di gioco.

Spero che questa strategia mi permetterà di costruirmi un deck Rebellion ad un costo minore.

Ovviamente la mia strategia potrebbe rivelarsi sbagliata in futuro e quindi, come sempre, la mia strategia non è un consiglio finanziario e devi sempre fare le tue personali valutazioni prima di acquistare gli assets di un gioco basato su blockchain ;)

In base alla mia strategia oggi ho deciso di acquistare altri 30 pacchi Rebellion.

Per scegliere dove comprare i pacchi Rebellion ho calcolato il costo in dollari di 1 pacco Rebellion in base alle diverse opzioni di acquisto sceglibili oggi 16 dicembre 2023 e in base ai valori di mercato dei tokens utilizzabili per acquistare i pacchi.

Per acquistare un pacco Rebellion dal sito di Splinterlands conviene utilizzare 5000 DEC + 5 VOUCHER e il costo per pacco è = 4.1266$

E' possibile acquistare 1 pacco Rebellion anche dal Market interno di Splinterlands (sezione Other Items) e il costo per pacco è = 3.88$

Acquistare un pacco Rebellion da Hive Engine/TribalDex/BeeSwap ha un costo = 10.72 SWAP.HIVE = 3.79$

L'unico modo per acquistare un pacco Rebellion ad un costo inferiore a 3.79$ è acquistare 500 o 2000 pacchi in un'unica transazione dalla sezione Shop di Splinterlands e in questo caso il costo per pacco è:

• = 3.76$ per pacco (acquisto di 500+ pacchi)
• = 3.61$ per pacco (acquisto di 2000+ pacchi)

Quindi oggi 16 dicembre 2023 l'opzione migliore per acquistare i pacchi Rebellion in quantità inferiori alle 500 unità è l'acquisto da Hive Engine/TribalDex/BeeSwap e il costo per pacco è = 3.79$.

Per acquistare 30 pacchi Rebellion su Hive Engine ho speso 321.80 SWAP.HIVE

In base alla mia strategia dovrei aprire subito i pacchi e dovrei vendere subito le carte che non mi serviranno nell'immediato nelle mie battaglie di gioco nelle leghe Gold del Modern Format ma aspetterò fino a stasera perchè aprire i pacchi piace molto a mia figlia Chiara che ha 10 anni e aprire i pacchi di Splinterlands è una cosa che facciamo sempre insieme.

Nel mio prossimo post mostrerò tutte le carte che ho trovato all'interno dei 30 pacchi e calcolerò anche i risultati finanziari che ho ottenuto dall'apertura dei 30 pacchi che ho acquistato oggi.

Oggi ho messo in vendita tutte le carte Gold che ho trovato nei 40 pacchi Rebellion che ho aperto il 5 dicembre.

Se riuscirò a vendere tutte queste carte avrò un valore di circa 90$ da reinvestire nell'acquisto dei pacchi Rebellion e nell'acquisto futuro di carte Rebellion dal mercato.

Fino ad oggi ho già venduto più di 40 carte Rebellion e continuerò a procedere in questo modo fino a quando non avrò raggiunto i miei obiettivi di acquisto per il set Rebellion e quindi fino a quando avrò nella mia collezione le carte Rebellion che mi piacciono di più.

Su Splinterlands il mio focus principale è sull'aumentare la forza in battaglia della mia collezione di carte perchè mi piace giocare le battaglie di gioco nel Modern Format contro giocatori reali come me.
Per questo motivo preferisco vendere le carte Gold che non utilizzerei in battaglia perchè di livello troppo basso per acquistare carte Regular che posso utilizzare subito in battaglia.

In pratica non sono un collezionista ma un giocatore appassionato di Splinterlands!

La mia stagione 124 nel formato moderno: Risultati e Considerazioni

Ieri 15 dicembre è terminata la stagione numero 124 che è stata la prima stagione durante la quale sono uscite le carte Untamed dal Modern Format e sono entrate le carte Rebellion.

I miei risultati di gioco sono peggiorati.
Penso che ad aver influenzato negativamente i miei risultati di gioco è stata la fuoriuscita delle carte Untamed dal Modern Format e non l'ingresso delle carte Rebellion.

Nella mia collezione ho delle carte Untamed molto forti e utili in battaglia tra cui Byzantine Kitty di livello 3 che è secondo me l'evocatore più utile e versatile anche considerando i nuovi evocatori Rebellion.

Utilizzando solo la mia collezione di carte Chaos Legion e solo occasionalmente qualche carta Rebellion il mio win rate nella stagione 124 è diminuito rispetto alla stagione 123

Il mio win rate è diminuito del -4.46% ma spero presto di avere carte Rebellion da utilizzare con profitto nelle mie battaglie di gioco ;)

C'è anche da dire che in ogni stagione potrei fare sempre di meglio se solo diminuissi la percentuale di battaglie che perdo senza schierare la mia formazione ma ho sempre poco tempo e quando gioco su Splinterlands faccio sempre e contemporaneamente almeno un'altra attività :)

Ho terminato la stagione 124 in lega Gold II con un punteggio di rating = 2459.

Per la prima volta dopo tante stagioni (precisamente non succedeva dalla stagione 114), nella stagione 125 sono partito dalla lega Silver I.

Rispetto alla stagione precedente è diminuito anche il totale dei token SPS che ho ottenuto come ricompensa dalle mie vittorie in battaglia ma considero comunque il mio risultato stagionale un buon risultato.
Nella stagione 124 ho guadagnato 423.03 SPS dalle battaglie vinte = 12.65$

La nota molto positiva che registro nella stagione 124 è che, nonostante ho ottenuto e aperto un numero inferiore di forzieri Gold rispetto alle due stagioni precedenti e non ho trovato pacchi Chaos Legion nella stagione 124, il valore totale in dollari delle mie ricompense stagionali è aumentato di quasi 4$.
Questo è l'effetto positivo dovuto all'aumento di valore dei token SPS.

Nella stagione 121 ho aperto 160 forzieri Gold -> total value: 12.36$
Nella stagione 122 ho aperto 186 forzieri Gold -> total value: 14.19$
Nella stagione 123 ho aperto 145 forzieri Gold -> total value: 13.37$
Nella stagione 124 ho aperto 135 forzieri Gold -> total value: 17.01$

Speravo di trovare un maggior numero di carte soulbound di tipo evocatore e soprattutto di rarità leggendaria ma non è stato così.
Sono comunque contento di aver trovato 1 BCX della carta leggendaria Drybone Raider che mi ha permesso di fare l'upgrade al livello 2.

Durante la stagione 124 ho fatto dei passi in avanti nell'accumulo e potenziamento delle carte soulbound:

• Common Regular: 52% -> 54%
• Common Gold: 17% -> 18%
