The Great Success of Rebellion Presale! + My Rebellion Buying Strategy (Update)
The Rebellion presale ended with a result that I consider really very positive.
There was no sell out but there was a almost sell out because of the 500K Rebellion packs available for purchase during the presale 441819 packs were sold.
Considering the bonus packs obtained by those who made purchases of more than 100 packs in a single transaction the total number of packs distributed during the presale was 492655 packs.
It will be possible to open Rebellion packs during the General sale beginning on December 5, 2023, in less than 15 days.
During the General Sale 9.5 million packs will be available for purchase, but there will also be a pack burning mechanism that will reduce the final number of Rebellion packs in circulation.
I have purchased 40 Rebellion packs so far but my goal is to purchase at least 10 more packs before the start of the general sale to be able to open at least 50 packs on December 5.
December 5 will also start the new card airdrop mechanism which will be a new feature compared to the card airdrops of previous sets.
During the presale I chose to purchase my 40 Rebellion packs from Hive Engine.
To purchase 40 Rebellion packs I spent 95 SWAP.HIVE +81.99 SWAP.HIVE +79.80 SWAP.HIVE +78.10 SWAP.HIVE = 334.89 SWAP.HIVE = $121.56.
The average cost I incurred was $3.03 per pack.
Today November 21, 2023 1 Rebellion Pack has a cost of 8.59 SWAP.HIVE = $3.1182 on Hive Engine.
Based on today's market values of DEC tokens and VOUCHER tokens, those who purchased 1 Rebellion pack from the Splinterlands Shop (4000 DEC + 5 VOUCHER) during the presale spent $3.9976 per pack.
If I had purchased 40 Rebellion packs from the Splinterlands Shop I would have spent 159.90$ but instead I spent a total of 121.56$ on Hive Engine with a savings = 38.34$.
With 40 Rebellion packs purchased from the Splinterlands Shop, however, I would have received 4 guaranteed Rare Promo Cards and also had a 40/250= 16% chance of receiving 1 Legendary Promo Card.
Will my buying strategy turn out to be right or wrong?
If during the general sale 4 rare promo cards + 1/5 of the market value of 1 legendary promo card will have a total market value of less than $38.34 I will have followed a winning strategy otherwise not.
I consider a price of $3 for a Rebellion pack a good purchase price at this stage and therefore today I made another BID purchase offer to buy 10 more Rebellion packs to increase the number of Rebellion packs in my possession: 40 -> 50 packs.
In the last Town Hall some cards from the new Rebellion set were shown with their statistics such as the two summoners you can see in the following image.
My SPS Accumulation Progress
The Rebellion presale went very well and in my opinion above all initial expectations but there were also other important positive results recorded in the last 30 days and these positive results are related to DEC tokens and SPS tokens.
The market value of the DEC token is very close to the soft peg.
The SPS token has had a very good increase in value.
DEC tokens and SPS tokens are linked to each other because the main way to get DEC tokens from the Splinterlands site is to burn SPS tokens.
The increase in the value of SPS tokens is largely due to the increase in the use of SPS tokens to obtain DEC tokens (SPS converted/burned to DEC) as you can see from the graph below.
One of my main goals on Splinterlands is just to increase the amount of staked SPS tokens in my possession.
Today I have an amount of 74775 SPS staked but my goal is to reach at least 100K SPS staked.
The last time I checked the amount of SPS tokens in my possession was October 30, 2023, 21 days ago, when I had 72920 SPS staked.
In a time interval of 21 days, I increased the amount of SPS tokens in my possession by +1854.35 SPS but the most positive data is the increase in value: +$367.09 = +36.80%.
My main source of income of SPS tokens are my game rewards:
- victories in game battles (Ranked battles and Brawl battles) + SPS found in chests
In order to maintain or increase my gain in SPS tokens produced by my gaming activity, it will be important for me to continue playing in Gold+ leagues even after December 5 when the Rebellion set will be released and the Untamed cards will come out of Modern Format.
For this reason I am very interested in the cards of the Rebellion set and my interest will be particularly for the Dual Element Summoners which will introduce a new strategic element in-game (= + fun) and should also be a contrasting element for the bots in the Wild Format.
I continue to set growth goals on Splinterlands, hope that bots will be eliminated completely from Splinterlands, continue to increase the battle strength of my collection of usable cards in the Modern Format where there are no bots, and look forward with much excitement to the start of the general sale of the Rebellion set, phase 1.5 of lands, and the fully playable versions of Genesis League Soccer and Soulkeep that will expand the Splinterlands ecosystem

La Rebellion presale è terminata con un risultato che io considero davvero molto positivo.
Non c'è stato il sold out ma c'è stato un quasi sold out perchè dei 500K pacchi Rebellion disponibili all'acquisto durante la presale sono stati venduti 441819 pacchi.
Considerando i bonus pack ottenuti da chi ha effettuato acquisti superiori a 100 pacchi in un'unica transazione il totale dei pacchi distribuiti durante la presale è stato di 492655 pacchi.
Sarà possibile aprire i pacchi Rebellion durante la General sale che inizierà il 5 dicembre 2023, fra meno di 15 giorni.
Durante la General Sale saranno disponibili all'acquisto 9.5 milioni di pacchi ma ci sarà anche un meccanismo di bruciatura dei pacchi che ridurrà il numero finale di Rebellion packs in circolazione.
Io ho acquistato fino ad ora 40 Rebellion packs ma il mio obiettivo è di acquistare almeno altri 10 pacchi prima dell'inizio della general sale per essere in grado di aprire almeno 50 pacchi il 5 dicembre.
Il 5 dicembre inizierà anche il nuovo meccanismo di airdrop delle carte che sarà una novità rispetto aggli airdrop delle carte dei set precedenti.
Durante la presale ho scelto di acquistare i miei 40 Rebellion packs da Hive Engine.
Per acquistare 40 Rebellion packs ho speso 95 SWAP.HIVE +81.99 SWAP.HIVE +79.80 SWAP.HIVE +78.10 SWAP.HIVE = 334.89 SWAP.HIVE = 121.56$.
Il costo medio che ho sostenuto è stato di 3.03$ per pacco.
Oggi 21 novembre 2023 1 Pacco Rebellion ha un costo di 8.59 SWAP.HIVE = 3.1182$ su Hive Engine.
In base ai valori odierni di mercato dei token DEC e dei token VOUCHER se avessi acquistato 1 pacco Rebellion dallo Shop di Splinterlands (4000 DEC + 5 VOUCHER) durante la presale avrei speso 3.9976$ per pacco.
Per acquistare 40 Rebellion pack avrei speso 159.90 $ dallo shop e invece ho speso in totale 121.56$ con un risparmio = 38.34$.
Con 40 Rebellion pack acquistati dallo Shop di Splinterlands avrei però ricevuto 4 Promo Card Rare garantite e avrei avuto anche il 40/250= 16% di probabilità di ricevere 1 carta Promo Leggendaria.
La mia strategia di acquisto si rivelerà giusta o sbagliata?
Se durante la general sale 4 carte promo rare + 1/5 del valore di mercato di 1 carta promo leggendaria avranno un valore di mercato inferiore a 38.34$ avrò seguito una strategia vincente altrimenti no.
Considero un prezzo di 3$ per un pacco Rebellion un buon prezzo di acquisto in questa fase e per questo motivo oggi ho effettuato un'altra offerta di acquisto BID per acquistare altri 10 Rebellion packs per aumentare il numero di pacchi Rebellion in mio possesso: 40 -> 50 pacchi.
Nell'ultimo Town Hall sono state mostrate alcune carte del nuovo set Rebellion con le loro statistiche come ad esempio i due summoners che puoi vedere nell'immagine seguente.
My SPS Accumulation Progress
La Rebellion presale è andata molto bene e secondo me sopra ogni aspettativa iniziale ma ci sono stati anche altri importanti risultati positivi registrati negli ultimi 30 giorni e questi risultati positivi sono relativi ai token DEC e ai token SPS.
Il valore di mercato del token DEC è molto vicino al soft peg.
Il token SPS ha avuto un ottimo aumento di valore.
I token DEC e i token SPS sono token collegati tra di loro perchè il principale modo per ottenere i token DEC dal sito di Splinterlands è bruciare i token SPS.
L'aumento di valore dei token SPS è dovuto in gran parte all'aumento dell'utilizzo dei token SPS per ottenere i token DEC (SPS converted/burned to DEC) come puoi vedere dal grafico seguente.
Uno dei miei obiettivi principali su Splinterlands è proprio aumentare il quantitativo di token SPS staked in mio possesso.
Oggi ho un quantitativo di 74775 SPS staked ma il mio obiettivo è di raggiungere almeno 100K SPS staked.
L'ultima volta che ho controllato il quantitativo di token SPS in mio possesso era il 30 ottobre 2023, 21 giorni fa, quando avevo 72920 SPS staked.
In un intervallo di tempo di 21 giorni ho incrementato il quantitativo di token SPS in mio possesso di +1854.35 SPS ma il dato più positivo è l'aumento di valore: +367.09$ = +36.80%.
La mia fonte principale di guadagno in token SPS sono le mie ricompense di gioco:
- vittorie nelle battaglia di gioco (Ranked battles and Brawl battles) + SPS trovati nei forzieri
Per mantenere o aumentare il mio guadagno in token SPS prodotto dalla mia attività di gioco sarà importante per me continuare a giocare nelle leghe Gold+ anche dopo il 5 dicembre quando il set Rebellion sarà rilasciato e le carte Untamed usciranno dal Modern Format.
Per questa ragione sono molto interessato alle carte del set Rebellion e il mio interesse sarà in particolare per i Dual Element Summoners che introdurranno un nuovo elemento strategico in-game (= + divertimento) e dovrebbero anche rappresentare un elemento di contrasto per i bots nel Wild Format.
Io continuo a pormi obiettivi di crescita su Splinterlands, spero che i bots siano eliminati completamente da Splinterlands, continuo ad aumentare la forza in battaglia della mia collezione di carte utilizzabile nel Modern Format dove non ci sono i bots e aspetto con molta eccitazione l'inizio della general sale del set Rebellion, la fase 1.5 delle lands e le versioni completamente giocabili di Genesis League Soccer e Soulkeep che espanderanno l'ecosistema di Splinterlands.

Andare così vicino al sold out è stato davvero un risultato impressionante, soprattutto considerato che sono anni che ci troviamo in un bear market... il fatto che invece la community sia ancora così entusiasta e attiva è impressionante! Questo nuovo set sembra poi molto interessante, con tante nuove meccaniche e modi di rendere il gioco più interattivo: più ci avviciniamo ad un classico gioco di carte, più sono contento :)
Non vedo l'ora che il set Untamed esca di rotazione per vedere come si evolverà il meta!
