Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge with Equal Opportunity

Splinterlands one of the best card battle NFT game on hive blockchain. This week BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge is Equal Opportunity. This challenge is easy and also requires some basic understanding of cards used in this battle. In this ruleset all units gain the opportunity ability which allows them to attack the unit with the lowest health on the enemy team. As in this battle monsters with malee attack are very helpful so I decided to use some strong malee attack monsters with high health. In this battle I used "Celestial Harpy" as tank card having 2 health with flying / Opportunity ability. This Opportunity ability adds on every monster in this battle. In this battle I used one tank heal ability card and one slow ability card but monsters lose all abilities so all monsters have opportunity / Cripple ability. This battle was low mana 19 so I decided to use some strong back line cards. This battle was life vs dragon summoners.

1. All Monsters have the Cripple ability.

2. Monsters lose all abilities.

3. All Monsters have the Opportunity ability.

As battle was low mana so I decided to use some extra abilities cards and also try to fill all spots. I decided to use some strong back line cards having opportunity and cripple ability. I used "Celestial Harpy" as tank monster card with one malee attack, 2 health and opportunity and cripple ability. On 2nd position I used "Uraeus" two malee attack, one shield and 3 health with opportunity and cripple ability. On 3rd position I used "Soul Fiend" one malee attack and one health with opportunity and cripple ability. On 4th position I used "Tortisian Chief" two magic attack and 5 health with opportunity and cripple ability. On 2nd last position I used Vulguine two malee attack and 3 health with opportunity and cripple ability. On last position I used Time Mage one magic attack and 3 health with opportunity and cripple ability. I am very happy with my team and if my tank card survives then my other cards will destroy the enemy team monsters. Let’s discuss my team one by one.

Celestial Harpy

I used Celestial Harpy Rare life Unit as a tank card. This card has one malee attack and 2 health with flying and Opportunity ability. I used this card on tank position in low mana fights as this card is very helpful with flying and Opportunity abilities. This card is the best choice for tank card in low mana battles.

Uraeus

On 2nd position I used Uraeus Epic neutral Unit with tank sneak and poison ability. I always use this card in all mana fights because of its sneak ability and 3 health with two malee attack. Hope this card could eliminate enemy's back line monster cards first.

Soul Fiend

On 3rd position I used Soul Fiend Legendary life Unit. This card has one malee attacks and one health with opportunity ability. I always used this card as my filler card to fill a spot and also try to waste few enemy's attacks.

Tortisian Chief

On 4th position, I used Tortisian Chief Epic neutral Unit. This card has two magic attack and 5 health but this card's tank heal ability is very strong. So hope this card perform well and do maximum damage to enemy tank card monster card.

Vulguine

On 2nd last position I used Vulguine Rare life Unit. This card has 2 malee attack and 3 health with scavenger ability. I always used this card as my back line card so this card gain one health when any monster card dies.

Time Mage

On last position, I used Time Mage Rare life Unit. This card has one magic attack and 3 health but this card's slow ability is very strong. So hope this card perform well and do maximum damage to tank card and enemy monster cards.

So my strategy in this battle was very simple as in this battle I mostly rely on my opportunity and tank healer cards as in this battle all monsters lose all abilities so my tank healer not works. I used "Celestial Harpy" as my tank card with one malee attack and two health, hope this card waste few enemy,s attacks and my 2nd tank card perform well. If my tank card survives some rounds then hope my other cards could eliminate enemy's back line monsters. My opportunity ability cards are very strong so they can do some damage to enemy back line monsters cards. I think in this battle my high health card like Tortisian Chief performed well with two magic attack and 5 health. Also hoped that my cards could not miss any attack and did proper damage to enemy back line monsters. Overall my entire back line cards did 3 magic and 5 malee attack damage to enemy team. This battle lasted for 4 rounds.

My strategy failed although my all cards performed well. Our today's battle challenge with "Equal Opportunity" not completed successfully . In this battle my enemy brought a strong dragon team with beater monster cards placement. My monster card eliminate enemy,s back line monster cards quickly but my cards health was less so could not survive massive 4 malee attack of my enemy cards. I liked this new change of weekly battle challenge from monsters to ruleset, so we can learn some new methods how to tackle enemy in any specific ruleset. You can watch this battle on My Battle link.
