Golem Overlord - Starting from Scratch: Episode 2 "All My Hard Work was Stolen but Guilds are Coming!!"

Hey there! I wanted to give you an update on what happened after my first 8 hours of playing in this new Golem Overlord account. Click here to view all the posts in the series to get caught up!

So, when I went to collect my PART, I was pretty disappointed to see that I only had .34 PART waiting for me. Ugh, what a bummer! 😭

Turns out, some other players battled me and ended up stealing 3.71 PART from me. Not cool, but I kind of saw it coming. I only had level 2 fortification, so I knew I was an easy target.

But I made the best of it and battled against accounts with a level 1 fortification. My Power (the strength of my attack) was only at level 1 so in my battles I only had a 45% chance of winning.

Out of my 7 battles, I won 3 and was able to collect 1.65 PART (no SHARDS unfortunately). Not much, but I was able to upgrade my Power to level 2 PART and hopefully be able to win more next time. 🤞

Overall the stats look the same as Episode 1 except for the Power level which went from 1 to 2:

Pro Tip: Wait until you're ready to collect before you fight your battles. If you battle too early, anything you win could be stolen from you. But if you battle right before you collect, chances are you'll be able to keep it all.

Also, SHARDS are the other token in the game. Right now they doesn't have a use but I know it will be used to buy Golem Crates soon and I heard they may be used with guilds which are coming soon!!!

I've had ran a guild in Splinterlands (YGG Splinter Sharks) for a year and a half and LOVE guilds so I can't wait to see what GO does with them. 🙌
