When you have the right monster on your side [ENG-PT]

Sometimes we build teams without seeing what monsters our opponents used recently, and even with that we create the perfect strategy to counter them.

That's what happened in a battle few days ago. I "accidentally" ruined his plans, who made a combination of Martyr + Ressurect.

He put Venari Marksrat in the first position, to be eliminated by my tanker, increasing the attack of Agor Longtail behind him, who would be his main tanker.

And next to it he put Oshuur Constantia and River Hellondale, to revive Venari two times, increasing a total of 3 points of all stats, forming an extremely strong monster in every way.

To add more damage, he put Chaos Dragon.

And in the last position, the River Nymph to clean any negative effects with the Cleanse ability.

In the first moments I didn't realize, but there was a monster that was going to save me and completely change the battle.

This was Spirit Hoarder, who has Dispel ability, which removes any positive status from the attacked monster.

In addition, he would provide support for the second tanker Mycelic Slipspawn with Triage.

In the first round he shows what he is here for.

After Grund eliminates Venari two times in the same round(because of the Double Strike ability), activating Martyr twice, he removes all buffs and reduce Agor attack by half.

With that, there was no chance for my opponent defeat me...

The battle would surely have been different if Hoarder wasn't on the field, because as you could see, the Agor had 4 magic attack and 6 meele attack and was going to receive another attribute boost after Venari was eliminated one more time.

But fortunately I was lucky enough to use him and take the victory.

This was a rare case where I used the combination of two tankers, one with Taunt on the backline to split damage with the monster in frontline.

As you could see, the damage being a bit low, but the defense is extremely strong, making the monsters survive for a long time.

Also, you could see the effectiveness of Dispel, even though it's still rarely used. It's not only effective against the Martyr, but against any monsters that have Enrage or any other ability that increases their attributes.

As vezes montamos times sem nem mesmo olhar quais foram os últimos monstros usados pelo nosso oponente, e mesmo assim acabamos criando a estratégia perfeita para counterá-lo.

Foi o que aconteceu em uma batalha que ocorreu dias atrás comigo. Eu meio que "sem querer" acabei com os planos do meu oponente, que havia feito uma combinação de Martyr + Ressurect.

Ele fez isso posicionando o Venari Marksrat na primeira posição, para que ele fosse eliminado pelo meu tanker, e assim aumentando o ataque do Agor Longtail atrás dele, que seria o tanker principal dele.

E ao lado ele colocou a Oshuur Constantia e a River Hellondale, para revivê-lo por duas vezes, causando um acréscimo total de 3 pontos em todos os atributos do Agor, formando um monstro extremamente forte em todos os sentidos.

Para adicionar mais dano, ele colocou o Chaos Dragon.

E na última posição, a River Nymph para dissipar qualquer efeito negativo com a habilidade de Cleanse.

Nos primeiros momentos não percebi, mas havia um monstro que iria me salvar e mudar completamente o rumo do jogo.

Este era o Spirit Hoarder, que possui a habilidade Dispel, que remove qualquer aumento de status do monstro atacado.

Além disso, ele prestaria suporte ao segundo tanker Mycelic Slipspawn com o Triage.

Logo na primeira rodada ele mostra para que veio.

Após o Grund eliminar duas vezes o Venari, ativando o Martyr duas vezes, ele remove todos os buffs e reduz o ataque do Agor pela metade.

Com isso, não houve chances para o oponente me derrotar...

A batalha com certeza teria sido diferente se não houvesse o Hoarder em campo, pois como você pode ver, o Agor estava com 4 de ataque mágico e 6 de ataque Meele e iria receber mais um acréscimo de atributos após o Venari ser eliminado mais uma vez.

Mas felizmente eu tive a sorte de usar ele e ser recompensado por isso.

Este foi um dos raros casos em que usei a combinação de dois tankers, sendo um com Taunt na backline para dividir dano com o monstro da frente.

Como você pode perceber, o dano acaba sendo um pouco limitado, mas a defesa fica extremamente forte, fazendo com que os monstros sobrevivam por mais tempo.

Além disso, você pode ver como o Dispel é extremamente efetivo, mesmo sendo pouco usado ainda. Não é apenas contra o Martyr que ele é efetivo, mas contra quaisquer monstros que possuam Enrage ou qualquer outra habilidade que faça aumentar os atributos deles.
