What is great about the wood nymph is that you have the healing ability already from lvl 1. It's a great card for earth the splinter.

Thanks for stopping by and the curation!

Ruler of the Sea is a very powerful card especially when developed at level 3 or 4. It makes the water splinter very strong.

Creeping Ooze is always a good one to throw on.

Creeping Ooze is probably one of the cards that I have used most in my battles. Only 1 mana and slow down ability. It's definitely a very good card.

The flesh golem is definitely my favorite. Only costs 6 mana, attack power:2, and healing at level 3? Oh yeah! Also, the 9+ health means it heals 3 health points per round. What a great common alpha card. And I just bought my first skin for it too!

Oh I love Flesh Golem. It was for a long time my number 1 tank in green splinter. Now I often use Pelacor Mercenary instead. At level 6 it's quite powerful.

My summoners don't allow for a card with such high level. Hopefully that will change during chaos legion.

Hard to pick a favorite, because it depends on the level it is played at, combinations you have for the respective splinter, and so on.

So, I'm gonna pick a little differently. The only common summoner: Delwyn Dragonscale.

A dragon summoner with +1 magic. Unfortunately it has 5 mana, and there are much more powerful summoners with 5 mana. But the combination of +1 magic + dragon splinter may be winning in some cases. I wouldn't max it though, unless I'd have tons of money and price at that level doesn't matter for satisfying some small pleasures.

This is one of my favourite cards and one of my two maxed out summoners. I bought it when it was still affordable :-). It's very powerful in high mana games. I love to put all my dragon and water magical cards together in such games.

I currently rent the lowest priced cards to increase my collection power to the Silver III level. When I see cards with different abilities in lineups, I usually make a note especially if that lineup beats mine.

A common card I added to my deck after I noticed that I used it almost every time when I create a Life Splinter lineup was the Silvershield Knight which has the Inspire ability (+1 Melee to all Friendly). I liked it so much that I purchased the Beta as an investment thinking that when Splinterlands changes the standard card pack for users to Untamed and Chaos, they may add Beta cards to the 10% bonus for match wins. But this is only a wish since I have no clue what they will be doing. I use it so much that I am renting the Alpha to get the 10% bonus for match wins. That rental is paying for itself plus some to cover other rentals.

Of Common cards that I have never used the Baby Unicorn seems to have a useful ability of adding health to friendlys. I have only seen it in lineups a few times so do not know how useful it may be. I just like the graphics as it catches my eye every time it is played against me. It is an interesting low mana card that I do not own or rent. It would probably be a nice common card to add and use with the above Silvershield Knight.

The silvershield knight is definitely a nice card to have especially when you combine it with melee cards that have the sneak ability. It's very powerful in low level leagues. The baby unicorn is also very interesting. I play it actually quite often because at a higher level it also give the Swiftness ability to the whole team. This is one more life and more speed to all the cards. This can make a big difference.

I hate lvl3 Flesh Golem in lower leagues, but only because I don’t have one lol. That healing ability on a 10 health creature is killer.

When you look at prices of common cards there are only few more expensive than Flesh Golem. It's not without reason. :-)

That is a very good question. While I have been more into the @risingstargame lately, I still enjoy the many awesome cards on SL as well... 🤪

If I had to pick one common card out of many I like, it would be the Nectar Queen. She really kicks butt in some of those Earth battles, esp. when I use her as a front runner. The stats on that one work great as well! :) 🐝

Oh the nectar queen is a very nice card. So powerful as a tank :-). It's a bit stronger than the kitten in the gif lol

No problem with that. You just can't be everywhere. My purpose is to write a blog about what is happening in my life. I mean, maybe I'll write something about Rising Star, but I'm taking music lessons. 😁

I like the flame monkey. He is cheap in Manna and lets you fill in a gap, plus, he is funny looking!

The flame monkey is quite powerful especially when upgraded with the repair shield and the swiftness (well this is only a top level I believe). It's true a 1 mana card that can be used in most of the low mana games.

That is why I like it, because you can fill in an unused manna gap...

This is a tough question because there are many really good cards in the game but I would have to go with the card I use the most over any others and that would be the Furious Chicken.

Oh man the furious chicken looks so lame but is so powerful. There are so many ways to use it in battle. Whenever possible I have the chicken lined up :-)

There are so many good ones it's hard to choose. Now that I'm finally starting to play Gold, some of these cards got really awesome. Those level 5/6 abilities kick in and make some of these things really fun. Maybe my favorite card(s) is the Rexxie-Orc Sergeant combo. Especially in the Unlimited Trample Ruleset. At level 6 Rexxie has 6 Melee and the Orc Sergeant adds Inspire to his Reach. Paired with the Wizard of Eastwood and his -2 Armor, the Orc Sergeant can hit for 3 and then Rexxie hits for 7!!! It doesn't always work but when it does.....awesome! I just did it again tonight where my Rexxie was down to 1 health but my Orc Sergeant knocked the opposing tank down to 4 (he had Shield) so my Rexxie was able to take him out and then wipe out the 5 cards behind him as well. So fun!!

The Goblin Mech is fun too with his Piercing and Stun, and he's a neutral so you can use him with any of the Summoners. I also really like some of these new rewards cards as well, especially the Pelacor Conjurer. It's amazing how often he gets missed. I've won a lot of battles with him as my "tank" where I don't think I would have with my normal Shieldbearer.

Great question! Not too hard to get people to talk about their cards. There's just a ton of different options and strategies that can make lots of them very useful. Such a great game!!

Thanks a lot for your great answer :-). I remember that Rexxie was the very first card that I bought on the market but I have never been very good with it. I definitely love the Pelacor Conjurer. The more it is leveled up, the more difficult it gets to be hit. A very powerful 2 mana card I believe.

And I agree with you. Splinterlands is definitely a great game :-)

This is a tough one... right now, I would probably say Sea Monster. I've been playing him a ton of late :D Back when I was in Bronze/Silver more it probably would be Flesh Golem.

I love Sea Monster. I have it at level 8 and it's so powerful with thorns and heal :-)

Legendary card? What is that? XD
FURIOUS CHICKEN IS NUMBER ONE! :p 0 mana. Eh, it's uncommon XD
Then the next one is CREEPING OOZE! :p 1 mana slower xixixi

Those are definitely my favorites common cards! Chicken and Ooze are very, very useful cards!

yes, they are uncommon and common cards that are useful if I have 1 mana slot or 1 monster slot left.

I would say that Flesh Golem may be the strongest one, but my favourite would be the Herbalist. 2 ranged attack, cleanse and Triage for 2 mana really makes it a lifesaver even in high mana decks :).

The herbalist is a little hidden treasure indeed. Especially if you manage to develop it to level 8 where it comes with triage. I like to use it with Selena Sky and make combo life+dragon :-)
