Challenge Centauri Mage!

Hi everyone!

​

This is my first post about splinterlands and the first time I have participated in one of their challenges. The incredible community of this game has encouraged me to do it, which is very friendly and attentive, without more to say I want to start.

Let's talk a little about this card, I like it a lot to put it as a tank in the second position because it **attacks with magic** so it can attack from there without problems, it **has a good life** so it can tank many hits and being magic, the **snipers will attack it to her first** which protects us from our other magic / ranged cards that usually have little life and finally her special ability return fire that when receiving a** ranged attacks will return 50% of the damage** (rounded up), all this makes an excellent tank card for second position (as long as there is enough mana since it consumes **7 mana**).

Battle Conditions:

  • Mana: 20
  • Only water, life or earth splinter
  • Odd Ones Out: Only can use monsters with Odd mana cost

My Strategy: I wanted to use a combination based on a lot of defense, so I used the cards below.

Summoner : Mylor Crowling

I used this summoner because it gives me a good advantage against melee monsters especially against those who use sneak

First potition: Stone Golem

This card is an excellent tank, since it has the shield ability that reduces the damage of melee and ranged apart, it consumes little mana and has 2 shield and when adding Mylor's ability it can do a lot of damage to mele cards.

Second position:

This is the challenge card, I used it in this position because of what I mentioned before.

Third position: Mushroom Seer

I used this card since it has a good magic attack of 2 and also has the special ability "Silence" which reduces the magic of enemy cards and since my tank is weak to magic this card makes up for it.

Battle:

First round

  • My opponent chose a card with "dodge" that makes my melee or ranged cards more likely to miss, but since magic attacks always hit right, I can hurt him and thanks to Thorns the damage he does to me with mele I will do 2 to him
  • he also used a magic card with the summoner that raises magic, but I have a card that reduces his magic attack so his summoner is neutralized

Second Round

  • My opponent removed the shield from my tank and dealt 1 damage to his health.
  • Likewise, I eliminated the shield from his tank and dealt 3 damage to his health.

Third Round

  • At this point the battle is decided, his tank died from attacking my tank and suffering the damage from the Thorns, he eliminated my tank with and my magic cards eliminated his magic card and caused a little damage to his last card which cannot attack in the first position.

Fourd Round

  • His card cannot attack but heals 2 health but my cards do 3 damage and eliminate it in this round so I won the battle.
