SPLINTERLANDS- TALES FROM SILVER - VENARI SPELLSMITH

Review of the card

Venari Spellsmith is the highlighted card for this week, I personally use it when I choose to focus on Magic attack formations and I've got a pretty low Mana Cap. The first real upgrade happened in level 4, with the ability Amplify, and later at level 6 with the increase of the damage by 1. Finally, at level 8, it gains a really cool ability that I didn't know until now Redemption, which means that when this monster dies does 1 AOE damage to all enemy monsters.

The Battle

Summoner Selection

Daria Dragonscale is the summoner that I chose for this battle and the reason was that I wanted to focus on a melee formation and I believed that the Water Class would have better solutions than any other available. Also, I wanted to use some monsters that are available only in Dragon class.

Ruleset

• Weak Magic: Magic attacks hit Armor before reducing Health.

• Little League: Only Monsters and Summoners that cost 4 or less can be played in this battle.

Team presentation

• The first monster I used is Cruel Sethropod and this is going to be our main tank for this battle. This is one of my go-to cards when it comes in low Mana Cap situations and the reason is pretty simple, 3 Mana gives you awesome stats!
• The second card I used is the Twilight Basilisk, this monster with his great stats and the ability Reach can work as an excellent defender and a damage dealer pretty well.
• My third choice was the Venari Spellsmith, a solid magic attack monster that has the Dispel ability.
• The fourth pick was the Dhampir Infiltrator. I like the stats of this card, 1 Attack, 2 Speed and 3 Health are a perfect fit for my team. Also, it has the ability to Twin strike and sneak, which means that we are going to infiltrate our opponent's backline easily.
• My fifth pick was Sabre Shark, this card has the desirable ability Sneak. It's our main DPS for this battle in the backline.
• Last place was taken by Pelacor Bandit, another great damage dealer with great stats at level 5. It has Sneak and that makes it perfect for our team also it has the ability to Flying which means that is going to evade more easily from enemy attacks.
