SPLINTERLANDS- WATER MAGIC RISES AGAIN

This time we are going to participate in the Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. I thought about what strategy should we approach this time and my favorite combo at this moment is this Magic Water deck! I liked it because is an updated version of the old good water magic deck that helped me at my first steps at Splinterlands to unstuck from the Bronze! Because this post has the purpose to promote the game, I will try to explain what is this crypto game with a few words! If you are familiar with the game skip this part! So if anyone is new here and doesn't know what the game is about let me explain to you. Splinterlands is a play to earn a game in the NFT world. The game operates in the Hive blockchain and it is a trading game genre! To put it simply it's a card game that whenever you win you earn DEC (basically the crypto-coin of the game), the more you play and you are going up in the ladder, the more rewards you get! If you want to join and take a taste of the game, you can do that for free but if you want to start earning DEC and grind for NFT cards and more rewards you must buy the Summoner's Spellbook. I totally recommend starting your journey today and to help you with that we are going to review today my favorite combo for Ranked games!

Key cards of the Formation

From the beginning I want to be clear to you guys and say that it's one of my favorite Legendary cards! The main reason is the tremendous value that this card holds. Let's break it down and try to see the potential of this card. The stats it has at level 1 is 2 Magic Damage, 5 Speed,10 Life Points, and the ability of the Void! Level 2 also gains the Phase ability and one extra Life point and finally at level 3 gains extra the Forcefield ability. As we mentioned before this card could be played at multiple positions and have multiple roles in our formation! It could be our Tank and our Damage option. But the trait that makes it perfect is Speed, with 5 speed your opponent is going to have a hard time killing that beast! So this card is going to play a huge role in the Magic deck we are going to formate!

Also one card that have saved many of my games is the Black Dragon! This card has a very rare ability that in some situations is very useful and at the standard format is a nice asset to have in mind! Let's see the stats at the first level, it has 2 Magic Damage, 2 Speed, 3 Life, the Flying ability, and the Life Leech ability! If you don't know what this ability does it gains Health points when it deals damage! Pretty useful when you have Rules like Poison etc. This card is useful to our deck because we need strong Magic attack monsters that can produce a large amount of damage and could tank potentially some hits! Also, you can complete the rest of the positions with some magic attack monsters or sneak, opportunity if you think it adds a greater value! Some recommendations are Gloridax Magus with the nice ability Blast, Venari Wavesmith, River Nymph, etc!
