Buying Splinterlands Cards to Upgrade my Deck

Hello Splinterlands summoners and welcome back to my blog. There is a new draft proposal in Splinterlands that aims to bring back brackets to Modern. Veteran players know about brackets where players can only enter leagues based on their collection power. In the proposal, players can choose the league or bracket they want to compete in for the season. Each bracket has their own reward pool and card level ranges. For me, the Silver bracket is most appropriate. To this end, I've been buying cards in the market to improve my deck and be competitive in the Silver League. Here are my recent card buys.
Gold Foil Kaylia Silverleaf 2x

I saw that the Gold Foil Kaylia Silverleaf dipped to $6 and I immediately snagged two copies. This brings my Kaylia Silverleaf to level four, the maximum level for the Silver bracket.

Now I have to bring my Earth cards to maximum levels in the Silver bracket which is level five for common, four four rare, three for epic and two for legendary.
Silver Shield Sentry

I bought twenty six copies of Silver Shield Sentry to upgrade mine to level four. This gives him the new ability, Bulwark which gives him +8 armor and health when in first position in exchange for two attacks. This is a great ability especially in Going the Distance rulesets, giving me a beefy ranged tank.
Ashveil Tactician

I was inspired by my level two Shiraza to upgrade my no attack cards. I bought three copies of Ashveil Tactician to bring her to level two. This gave her the important Inspire ability giving +1 attack to all melee units.
Earthwork Sentinel

Another no attack card that I bought and levelled up to two was the Earthwork Sentinel. At level two he gains a debuff ability, Slow which decreases the enemy's speed by one.
Vicious Giraffe

I used to rent this card but I decided to buy it and upgrade it to level three. This gives him the Painforge ability and make him a strong combo to a tank card that has Reckless ability, Cavewise Wayfinder.

The Cavewise Wayfinder and Vicious Giraffe combo is particularly effective in low mana battles.
Featured Battle

I mentioned the Cavewise Wayfinder and Vicious Giraffe combo above and here I show how they perform in battle. My archon is low level but my team does high damage inspite of this. I had the dual tank combo followed by Bren Palesworn who has dual attack of range and melee. He also has the Shapeshift ability that will synergize with another unit. I included the Portly Cannoneer in the team. He has the Inspire ability which increases the attack of my melee units by one. Next is Swiftbeard Stout, my Taunt unit to draw enemy attacks. He also has the Bloodline Tribute ability that will benefit all dwarves including Bren Palesworn because of his Shapeshift ability. Lastly, I had the Kha'zi Conjurer who at only two mana does four range damage.
My enemy had a level two Nidhoggr archon but his team did not have as good synergy as mine. Inspite of my lower level cards, my team pulled off the victory.
