Hello Splinterlands warriors and welcome back to my blog!
Our guild has just finished brawl. We had good brawl this time. We are in fifth rank in the middle of the standings. Last week we were in seventh rank so this week is an improvement. In today’s post, I’ll break down our overall results, highlight my personal performance, and showcase one of my favorite battles.
Our guild has just done with another brawl, and this time we delivered a satisfactory performance. We finished in fifth place, right in the middle of the standings. Compared to last week’s seventh place finish, this is a nice improvement for the guild. In today’s post, I’ll break down our overall results, share my personal performance and highlight one of my favorite battles from the brawl.
Guild Rank and Personal Performance

We finished in fifth rank which is an improvement from last week's deplorable seventh place. It's great that we got our acts together and had a nice finish.

My performance is still great. I won eight battles out of nine. I'm happy that I can contribute consistently in our brawls. Each of us who joined the brawl earned 5.6k merits and 68 SPS. It's a huge chunk of my weekly SPS earnings so I make it a point to join brawls and have a good performance.
Featured Battle

The battle was a had the Odd Ones Out and Reverse Speed ruleset. When I saw this, I already had some cards in mind to play that fits the ruleset well. I chose the elf archon Kaylia Silverleaf and the rest of my team were as follows.
Halfling Refugee
One mana Halfling Refugee was my tank. The battle was only for thirty seven mana and using a low mana tank allowed me to field high mana damage dealers.
Grove Doomblade
Grove Doomblade was the first card I had in mind. Her five melee damage and one speed was perfect in this ruleset. She is a devastating attacker held back by her lack of speed but in Reverse Speed, she becomes the fastest unit.
Fina Voxom
Fina Voxom with her combination of high attack and abilities is one of my pure damage dealers. However, her four speed is a liability in this ruleset but I used her anyway because she costs only five mana.
Forlorn Geomant
My other top card in this battle was Forlorn Geomant. His five magic damage and one speed worked well to decimate the enemy team. In Reverse Speed ruleset, he attacks fast and defeats the enemy before they can strike back.
Thunderhoof Nomad
Thunderhoof Nomad only cost three mana so she was one of my chosen support cards in this thirty seven mana battle. She deals low damage but adds one health to my team.
Ujurak Elder
Another low mana support card was Ujurak Elder. Similar to Thunderhoof Nomad, she only deals one magic damage but provides one health buff to allies.
The enemy had a weaker line up with gladiator Palidon Rakk as his tank. That was also his best card but it was not enough against my high damage units.
