Splinterlands Social Media Challenge: Join a Guild for more fun battles

Hello Splinterlands Summoners! In this week's Splinterlands Social Media Challenge, let's talk about guilds. Guilds are a group of players who work at a common goal and participate in guild battles called Brawls.

There are several benefits in joining a guild, among them is you can earn SPS, Merits and Crowns from Brawls.

SPS is the tradable currency we earn from battles. We can also earn this from joining Braws.

Merits is the currency we can use to purchase Gladius case which contain Gladiator cards.

Previously, Gladiator cards can only be used in Brawls but now we can also use them in regular battles if the ruleset allows it or if you use the reward summoners with the ability to use Gladiator cards.

Crowns are used to upgrade Guild buildings to get more benefits out of them. For example, a higher Lodge gives Bonus % in Glint earnings and Shop discount.

Currently, our guild is competing in a Brawl and is in fifth place. I'm happy to be contributing by having seven wins at the moment.

It's fun to fight in Brawls since we can find opponents that have the same powers and not face opponents with max level summoners and monsters.
