Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - Trying Out the New Reward Cards in Battle

Hello Splinterlands Summoners! I have already levelled up some of my reward cards and it's time to test them in battles. The new reward cards have some great stats and useful skills. While I am used to battling with my deck, the new reward cards are finding their niche and may soon be my meta cards once I have levelled them up to gain more abilities. Here are some battles where the card stats and abilities played a crucial role in winning.

Noxius Fumes

The Light Splinter has some of the strongest tanks in the game like Uriel the Purifier, Imperial Knight and Drybone Barbarian, however these are vulnerable in Noxius Fumes ruleset when their health is whittled down by poison. Thankfully, we have a new card that can support them with the Cleanse ability.

Not only does the Luceheim Demon have useful abilities, it also deals a decent amount of ranged damage. This card is good addition to my deck. It's only at level 3 at the moment by I already use it from time to time. In the battle, it helped preserve my tank with its Cleanse ability while dealing damage to the enemy.

Explosive Weaponry

I don't have a lot of cards with the Reflection Shield ability so it's challenging to play this ruleset. This is moreso for the Earth Splinter where the monsters are a bit squishy. That's why the Thundering Nomad is one of my favorite cards that came from the new rewards set.

It's also a magic damage dealer so it works well with the Obsidian summoner. This is also at level 3 right now and I'm looking to level this up every season end. Here's a battle where it helped me win in Explosive Weaponry Ruleset.

Reverse Speed

In this battle where "Slow is King", the Luceheim Demon shines again. With General Sloan summoner it deals 4 ranged damage which is great considering this is a free card.

Conclusion

My reward cards are not yet at a level that I wanted them but I'm already finding some utility for them in battle. No doubt that they will find a regular slot in my battles once I have properly upgraded them. Also, it's nice to have more cards to use in some ruleset where they shine and find their niche.

Thanks for reading and have fun with Splinterlands!
