Hello Splinterlands Summoners! Welcome to another edition of Social Media Challenge.

My Progress Last Season

Last season I saved a lot of Glints and decided to upgrage my summoners. My goal is to have at least level 5 summoners of all Splinters. I spent all my Glint on rare draws which cost only 500 Glints.

After buying a lot of these, here are my summoners so far.

I already have a level 5 Franz Ruffmane while other summoners are at level 3. Soulbound summoners cost 6 Mana so they are ideal to use in high mana battles. Here is one battle where I was able to use my new level 5 summoner.

The Ruleset

Healed Out: All Healing abilities are removed
Tis But Scratches: All monsters have the cripple ability
Max Mana: 50

My Team

Franz Ruffmane summoner. The value of these summoners is tied to which Gladius card you have. For Franz Ruffmane, the meta card to use is Captain Katie which deals 3 magic damage. In this battle, I use this combo.

Uriel the Purifier in tank position. A very strong tank which deals a lot of damage and can eliminate a full health card in a single hit. It's pretty tanky too with Heal and Flight abilities. Unfortunately, in this battle he cannot use his Heal ability.

Djinn Renova in second position. This is a versatile card that deals 3 magic damage and has the Strengthen and Triage abilities.

Captain Katie in third position. She is one of the meta or often used Gladiator cards. She deals 3 Magic damage and has the Bloodlust ability which makes her stronger as she eliminates the opponent's cards.

Adelaide Brightwing in the fourth position. She synergizes well with Uriel because of her Repair ability. She also has Flight, Immunity and Resurrect.

Iziar in the last position. One of the best legendary cards in my opinion. He deals 2 magic damage and has the Taunt and Void abilities. He synergizes well with cards with Triage ability like Djinn Renova.

The Opponent's Team

My opponent has very strong cards, five out of his six cards are legendary. He used the legendary summoner Posibillus which gives the Reach ability as well Trample and buffing the whole team with +2 hearts. In the tank position is Runemancer Kye. In the second position is Drybone Raider which hits four times. The rest of his team is composed of Kulu Mastermind, Dr Blight and a Rebellion card, Captain Fellblade.

The Battle

Although the I wasn't able to take advantage of Triage and Heal abilities due to the ruleset, Uriel was still tanky as his shield kept getting repaired. My damage dealers whittled his team while Iziar did his job drawing enemy attacks.
