This week I brought a Wild Ranked battle, where I will take advantage of an interesting ability, which is the Weapons Training. The high mana cap is always nice, so me and my opponent will be able to build strong lineups against each other. πŸ˜‡

RulesetDescription
Are You Not Entertained? You can summon one additional Gladiator.

The mana cap was 55, which is more than enough to pick anything that I want and almost all the Splinters were available to choose from. Only the Death was banned, so it will be easy to pick a good strategy. πŸ˜‡

Their will be only one ruleset in this battle, which is the Are You Not Entertained? and that means me and my opponent are able to pick one additional Gladiator monster into this battle. πŸ˜‹

My lineup and the decision behind it!

Summoner
Helios Matriarch

image.png

The Helios Matriarch is an excellent choice for this battle, because I will be able to use Dragons and my chosen Splinter, which was the Fire one in this case. She will also increase the Speed of all of her monsters by one and on top of that she will be able to bring another one additional Gladiator monster on top of the ruleset one. πŸ˜‡

Main Tank
Noa the Just
image.png

The Djinn Chwala cost only eight mana and he is my all time favorite monster from the Dragon Splinter and I used him a lot in the past. He has nice amount of Melee attack, but what makes him the best is to take advantage of his huge Health and Armor to be able to sustain a lot of incoming damage as my main tank. On top of that he has the Thorns ability as well, so he an enemy Melee attacker would deal damage to him he will be able ot reflect two damage back to them. 😊

Off Tank and a Reacher
Chimney Wallstop
image.png

Chimney Wallstop is a real Gladiator monster and such he naturally has the Bloodlust ability just like my Krash. He also has amazing stats and the Reach ability as well, so he will be able to attack from the second position with that. The Repair ability on him helps a lot to restore some of the lost Armor on one of his monsters once in every round. πŸ˜‰

Decoy
Iidry Fyre
image.png

I used the Iidry Fyre to redirect most of the damage from the enemy lineup into her, because she has the Taunt ability, which means that all the enemy monsters (except their tank and their monster with the Reach ability) has to attack her. She doesn't have any attack on her own, but she has quite a lot of Health and Armor. She also has the Redemption ability, which means that whenever she dies she will deal one damage to all the enemy monsters on the battlefield. 😌

The Weapons Trainer
Berix Snakeye
image.png

Brerix Snakeye cost quite a lot of mana, but he is well worth its mana cost. He has +3 Ranged attack, which is always nice, but the most interesting part of him is the fact that he has the Weapons Training ability, so he will be able to give his attack to the monsters next to him, but only if they do not have any attack. 😁

The Weapon Trainee
Krash Wanderford
image.png

Krash Wanderford cost only four mana, which is quite cheap, but he doesn't have any attack on its own and he has the Bloodlust ability, which will help him to increase all of his attack by one whenever he kills his target. Luckily my Berix Snakeye has the Weapons Training ability, so Krash would receive his Ranged attack and he would be able to attack from my backline with that. πŸ’ͺ

Magic Damage Dealer
Sorriel the Bale
image.png

Sorriel the Bale cost nine mana, which is a lot compared to his stats. He has only one huge advantage as a damage dealer and that is his Double Strike ability, which will allow him to deal his +2 Magic attack twice against his target.πŸ€—

My opponent brought the Immortalis who is an Earth Summoner and his abilities are to reduce the Health of all of his enemy monsters. He also gives the Void and Shatter ability to his monsters, which means that they will be more resilient against the enemy Magic attacks and if they hit their target they will destroy all of their target Armor. πŸ˜•

My opponent used Quora Towershed as their main tank, which was a huge mistake, because all of my monsters started attacking her in the first round and thanks to our double Speed buff they managed to kill her rather quickly. πŸ˜‰

In the rest of the round my Iidry Fyre soaked all the enemy attacks and she managed to survive this round.

In the beginning of the second round my team killed their Uloth Dhampir who became their new tank, but her tankish role finished quickly. πŸ€—

Their new tank the Thanalorian Blade was quite weak stats wise and she is more like a backline damage dealer, because of her Opportunity and Execute ability, so it was easy to kill her in the first position.

The Stonebind Matron was their new tank and her fate was the same like their Blade, so her death was swift as well.

My Fyre had only two Health left at the end of the third round, so she was doing an excellent job protecting my lineup. 😁

In the third and fourth round my team easily finished off the remaining two enemy monster and allowed me to win this battle! πŸ˜‡
