A plethora of different options.

Splinterlands is the gift that keeps on giving.

It is probably the best blockchain-based play-to-earn game there is at the moment, and with so much going on behind the scenes, I think we can expect good things in the future. Chaos packs are already here, changing things drastically and forcing players to change tactics and go about making new plans in order to climb up the ranks and keep earning that sweet DEC.

I've only managed to bag 15 Chaos Legion packs so far, but I'm planning to add at least another 100 to my collection as soon as the general sale commences.

The thing is my 800 SPS won't bring in that many Voucher tokens daily, as I'm currently only receiving around 0.27 per day. That was the case during the previous round as well, so I decided to just sell my Voucher tokens for HIVE on hive-engine and wait until Vouchers are no longer needed.

I'm guessing many other players have decided to take the same route, so I believe all packs will be gone in an instant once the current sale period ends. We still have another 32 days for that, and there's another 26 boosted Voucher token drops left, so I will keep stacking up that HIVE which I will then use to get my hands on some more packs.

Take profits and then reinvest them to generate more profits.

Rinse, lather, repeat.

I used to sell my Voucher tokens for HIVE which I would then trade for DEC, in order to be eligible for bigger SPS rewards from the daily airdrop, which by the way still has another 228 days to go. All airdropped SPS tokens I've been getting lately are being staked so that I can increase the rate at which I'm receiving those for the rest of the airdrop period.

The crypto game is a marathon and every penny counts.

Truth is I've used some SPS in order to grab those 15 unopened Chaos Legion packs I'm currently holding, as the 10% discount was a good deal I didn't want to refuse. Now, the thing is I am not entirely sure what to do with those Chaos Legion packs.

Besides stacking some more of them.

For the time being, I keep them unopened as they add airdrop points to my account, making me eligible for even higher SPS rewards from the daily distribution. I also believe that as people keep opening more and more of those packs, the prices are going to reach new all-time highs, as was the case with pretty much every pack edition in the past. I can see Chaos Legion packs hitting triple digits in the market in the not so distant future, but that's just me.

One thing is for sure: We have seen it all before.

That's why I've decided to use my HBD rewards to acquire as many Chaos Legion packs as possible once the general sale starts. HIVE man, so many opportunities and ways to generate income from your online activities. It's unreal.

On the other hand, opening those packs may prove to be worth it, as it could probably grant me some legendaries apart from enabling me to increase my power and therefore reach higher leagues. Higher leagues would mean better rewards, so it's all a puzzle I'm trying to figure out the best approach to deal with efficiently.

That's why I've been consuming as much relevant content as possible lately. There's a lot to learn from experienced Splinterlands folks sharing their views and experiences on LeoFinance.

More options.

The rental market is another factor that needs to be kept in mind, and that makes it even harder for me to decide what to do with my Chaos Legion packs. I will definitely end up opening most of my Chaos packs, but I will probably start doing this in a month from now. To be honest, I was kind of late to join the game, so I can say I've already missed out on some huge opportunities.

But it's better late than never.
