SPLINTERLANDS UPDATES: IMPROVED AND UPDATED WEBSITE FEATURES

Rapid changes have occurred in Splinterlands during recent months and it has significantly changed or updated some of the potions of the Splinterlands website.

The changes are for improving the gaming experience, integration of new features, new TD game, and better navigation throughout the website. We'll review some of these changes and how it affects our gaming experience.

Updated DEC Page

DEC tokens page is significantly improved with a new look and additional new features for DEC-B (Battery) tokens.

1. DEC Balance now shows Total DEC in the game and other blockchains.
2. DEC-B balance is also incorporated in the DEC page to review DEC-B tokens.
3. DEC-B sale event box is added to purchase Battery tokens during the sale. The event is currently closed.

Improved SPS Page

1. Stake, Transfer, and Activity functions now open in a separate window, where users can do their desired operations or view currency activities.
   
   
2. Buy SPS tokens on a new dedicated page just for purchasing SPS with different available options to users.
   
3. Now, users can convert SPS into DEC from within the game, this feature will also burn SPS tokens to improve their market prices and reduce the overall quantity of SPS tokens. SPS to DEC conversion is based on the current market price.
   
4. Users can add or remove different blockchain addresses integrated with Splinterlands' main account.
   It is to be noted that "TRON" and "ESTEEM" wallets are no longer supported in Splinterlands game, the game only supports wallet shown in the image above.
5. Users can read details about SPS by accessing additional information provided in these documents, just click to visit the appropriate document.
6. Users can review their SPS and Voucher rewards earned from different game activities, the reward panel is bifurcated into portions to give users more clarity on the rewards earned.

Items - Other Items

A few months ago, Items page only showed Cards assets, but now it is patched up to show all other non-card assets that users own in Splinterlands.

1. Other items that are not cards i.e. all other Splinterlands assets such as currencies, Validator License, Land Plots, Packs, Totems, Grain, Time Crystals, and many different NFT assets.
2. Various Filters are given to sort specific items for better reviewing and getting more details about assets.

Market - Other Items

1. There was a need for a marketplace portal that would only focus on non-card items. Now, it has a new section called Other Items, especially for non-card tradeable assets.
2. An improved filter section is available to sort out different assets in the marketplace for better visibility.
3. Other Items section can contain packs, land plots, totems, and titles. It is expected that additional assets may be added in the future after Land 1.5 and SoulKeep updates.

Energy System for Ranked Battles

This is a major update introduced in Splinterlands last month. New Energy System has replaced the old ECR (Energy Capture Rate) and 50 Energy charges are given to each account. It is a simple mechanism and recharges on its own, 1 energy charge takes 1 hour to recharge. You can explore more about the Energy system by visiting this guide.

Guilds - My Mail

The players who are in a guild may have observed this updated Guild menu bar, a "MY MAIL" tab is patched up to keep you informed about important guild-related notifications.

1. If a player's Guild Application is rejected, he or she will receive a mail about rejection in "DECLINED" filter tab.
2. Joining requests made to the different guilds will appear in "JOIN REQUEST" tab.
3. When guilds send any player an invite to join them, he or she can find invitation mails in "INVITES" tab.

Mails received in this section can be updated using appropriate options under "ACTIONS" column.

Land Plot - For Sale

Land Plot section has received a new and improved landing page, and it has got many other interesting features such as land survey and trading directly from the Land section.

1. Land icon is added in the main menu bar, this is where a player can access the Land section.
2. "For Sale" is a new feature to explore plots available for sale in the game. Players can directly buy plots and sell their plots using this menu. All plots now appear in a hexagon box, players can use filters to sort out what specific region, land type, and land status they are looking for.
3. Plots appear as rectangles with different colors, each player is assigned a different color in a region, and players can click on the plot to reveal additional details.

SoulKeep

It is another new icon added to the main menu bar to access SoulKeep game, which is only available to players owning 500 Nightmare packs in Splinterlands.
