Celebrating My Best Season - Silver II and almost top 100!

In the world of Splinterlands, I would consider myself an ambitious minnow. I have a small amount of owned power which I am gradually building, and this is supported by some very limited rentals. I have just finished my 3rd full season and I had a strong result.

How did I do it?
In 2 words, CHAOS LEGION.

You see, I have been investing in building a leveled water team, supported by a Level 4 Kelya, and this is paired with a Level 3 Obsidian. Between both the water and earth summoners, I try and play most of my games in these splinters. The end result - it looked like quite a success!

Now, I do confess I had delusions of grandeur as the season was winding up. I went to the market and spent 250 DEC to rent a heap of quite elite cards - figuring I could make a run on the leaderboard. The end result, I played 30 matches with a 16:14 ratio. My final rating was 2661, however, it did run up as high as 2709. I kind of wished I stopped there for a top 100 finish! As it turns out, if I'm going to try to place higher up the board, I am going to need a far more significant investment across all the splinters.

In the end, the celebrations also continued into the opening of my season rewards. I was able to pick up 2 x Gold Foil Pelacors. Not a bad result as I attempt to push my owned card power higher and higher!
