Have you met River Hellondale?

Have you met River Hellondale?

I have a confession, recently I became addicted to the water splinter. I've shared this with others, and they're not surprised. They tell me, 'Yes, I love the magic pathway in water'. The irony is, that's where I become surprised.

You see, I've fallen in love with River Hellondale, a magic damage card - but, the card's power is in that little red 'Inspire' flag which gives the rest of my team +1 melee damage.

The card is part of the Chaos Legion drop on Splinterlands, and it has legendary status... Despite this status, I reckon the card is beyond underrated.

Here's where the fun starts:

I pair this card with a Level 4 Pelacor Bandit, and all of a sudden I have a +3 Melee Sneak card. My tank, my Level 4 Diemonshark, with enrage, now has +4 melee, and enrages to +8! Then my deeplurker; now he has +5 melee attack!

Now before you run off to buy this card, keep in mind, it also has revive. It has so often resurrected my tank with full armour, and he goes on to win the battle.

Oh yea, the +2 magic damage on the card is also worth noting. For the 7 mana the card costs to play, the reward is heavily weighted to the user.
Really, it begs the question, at the time of writing, this card is $11USD, when will it's beauty lead it to legendary prices?

Glad to have shed some light on it for you. It's always fun to find new combinations, eh? I have come to really love playing water/melee team. I was using a magic earth team previously, but tend to favour the water now.

In brawls, finding the water line-up competitive vs those super gladiator cards. Not the perfect counter, depending on the line-up, but I need to explore gladiator cards more I think (and certainly, get a collection of 'em!)
