Brewmaster Abraxas appears as a serpentine figure, with a serpentine neck and head that commands respect and mystery. In his hand he holds a glass of flaming beer, emanating the magic that only this master brewer's concoctions can possess. Behind his back, he gracefully carries a barrel of beer, symbolizing the skill and mastery with which he makes his creations.
In my artistic representation, I wanted to highlight that magical moment when Brewmaster Abraxas looks at his flaming glass with reverence, while carrying the barrel with him towards the bustling tavern. Process / Proceso
Diving into creating my Brewmaster Abraxas fan art was an exciting creative journey that involved several steps to bring this fascinating character from the world of Splinterlands to life.
First of all, it all started with the sketch stage. I spent time studying the anatomy and unique characteristics of Brewmaster Abraxas, seeking to accurately capture its essence. I worked on capturing the posture, facial expression and key details that make this character so distinctive. The sketch served as the foundation upon which he would build the entire composition.
After finishing the sketch, I moved on to the outlining phase. Here, I focused on precisely defining the contours and details of the character. I used careful strokes to highlight the shape of the snake head, the folds in its clothing, and the magical elements, such as the flaming beer glass. Outlining was crucial to establishing a solid structure and ensuring that each element of the drawing stood out.
Once the outlining was complete, I proceeded to the coloring. This stage involved the careful choice of color palettes to bring Brewmaster Abraxas to life. I played with shadows and highlights to highlight details and add depth to the illustration. This is where the warm tones and flashes of light on the beer glass helped create a magical and vibrant effect.
After setting the base colors, I dove into applying shadows. Here, I sought to enhance the three-dimensionality of the character and the environment. By adding subtle shadows in specific areas, I was able to give Brewmaster Abraxas more weight and presence. This step also helped define the ambient lighting, especially in the flaming beer and the surrounding environment.
