My journey in splinterlands

Hello, splinterlands friends. Today I want to share with you my journey in this wonderful platform, where I have found a way to express my passion for art and the simpsons. My name is lorentm and I am a digital artist who is dedicated to making simpsons themed drawings or fanarts, adapting the characters and scenarios of splinterlands to this funny and recognizable style.

Hola, amigos de splinterlands. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes mi viaje en esta maravillosa plataforma, donde he encontrado una forma de expresar mi pasión por el arte y los simpsons. Mi nombre es lorentm y soy una artista digital que se dedica a hacer dibujos o fanarts con la temática de los simpsons, adaptando los personajes y escenarios de splinterlands a este estilo tan divertido y reconocible.

How did I learn about splinterlands?

My encounter with splinterlands was a bit serendipitous, a little over a year ago. I was browsing hive.blog, and it came to my attention that many artists were participating in the splinterlands art contest. It seemed like a great opportunity to try my luck and show my work to a wider and more enthusiastic community.

So I decided to participate and was surprised to see the variety and quality of the designs that were in the game. I really liked the concept of splinterslands, the different factions that represent the elements of nature, and the original and charismatic characters that compose them. I found it a very fun and creative challenge to adapt them to the simpsons style, a series that I love since I was a child and that always makes me laugh.

Mi encuentro con splinterlands fue un poco casual, hace poco más de un año. Estaba navegando por hive.blog, y me llamó la atención que muchos artistas participaban en el concurso de arte de splinterlands. Me pareció una oportunidad genial para probar suerte y mostrar mi trabajo a una comunidad más amplia y entusiasta.

Así que me animé a participar y me sorprendí al ver la variedad y calidad de los diseños que había en el juego. Me gustó mucho el concepto de splinterslands, las diferentes facciones que representan los elementos de la naturaleza, y los personajes tan originales y carismáticos que los componen. Me pareció un reto muy divertido y creativo adaptarlos al estilo de los simpsons, una serie que me encanta desde que era niña y que siempre me hace reír.

What have I achieved in splinterlands?

Since then, I haven't stopped participating in the art contest and in the social media section, where users can create posts about splinterlands and share them on our social networks. This week, they launched a theme called Share Your Journey! where people have to tell and explain how their beginnings were in splinterlands. I thought it was an excellent idea to take stock of my journey and thank everyone who has supported me.

To date, I have made a total of 128 drawings for the art and social media contest, most of them in the style of the simpsons and some based on the style of futurama, another series that I like a lot. Among my first drawings are Alric Stormbringer, Prince Julian, High Priest Darius, Lord Arianthus, and the other two are based on futurama.

Thanks to splinterlands, I've managed to improve my drawing technique and learn new digital tools. I have also collected several chaos packs that they give as prizes for winning the art contest, which has allowed me to collect some cards and play some games. I have a lot of fun with the game and am impressed with the level of strategy and skill it takes to win. Here are some examples of my work:

Desde entonces, no he dejado de participar en el concurso de arte y en la sección social media, donde los usuarios podemos crear posts referentes a splinterlands y compartirlos en nuestras redes sociales. En esta semana, lanzaron una temática llamada Share Your Journey!, donde las personas deben contar y explicar cómo fueron sus comienzos en splinterlands. Me pareció una excelente idea para hacer un balance de mi trayectoria y agradecer a todos los que me han apoyado.

Hasta la fecha, he hecho un total de 128 dibujos para el concurso de arte y social media, la mayoría al estilo de los simpsons y algunos basados en el estilo de futurama, otra serie que me gusta mucho. Entre mis primeros dibujos están Alric Stormbringer, Prince Julian, High Priest Darius, Lord Arianthus

Gracias a splinterlands, he logrado mejorar mi técnica de dibujo y aprender nuevas herramientas digitales. También he reunido varios chaos pack que dan como premios por ganar el concurso de arte, lo que me ha permitido coleccionar algunas cartas y jugar algunas partidas. Me divierto mucho con el juego y me impresiona el nivel de estrategia y habilidad que se requiere para ganar. Aquí les dejo algunos ejemplos de mi trabajo:

What do I expect from splinterlands?

My goals on the platform are to continue drawing, improve the simpsons technique I've been applying and adapt it a bit to a more personalized style of my own. I would also like to explore other styles and themes, and continue learning from the other artists participating in the contest. I love to see their work and appreciate their talent and originality.

In addition, I want to continue to enjoy the game and the splinterlands community, which is very friendly and supportive. I always receive positive and constructive feedback, which motivates me to keep improving and participate more. I also like to interact with other users and learn about their stories and experiences in splinterlands.

¿Qué espero de splinterlands?

Mis objetivos en la plataforma son seguir dibujando, mejorar la técnica de los simpsons que he venido aplicando y adaptarla un poco a un estilo más personalizado y propio. También me gustaría explorar otros estilos y temáticas, y seguir aprendiendo de los demás artistas que participan en el concurso. Me encanta ver sus obras y apreciar su talento y originalidad.

Además, quiero seguir disfrutando del juego y de la comunidad de splinterlands, que es muy amigable y solidaria. Siempre recibo comentarios positivos y constructivos, que me motivan a seguir mejorando y a participar más. También me gusta interactuar con otros usuarios y conocer sus historias y experiencias en splinterlands.

What advice would you give to beginners?

If you are a beginner who wants to get started in splinterlands in the art area, I would tell you to be consistent, make your posts well detailed and explain step by step the elaboration of your drawings. This way you can show your creative process and receive feedback from others. I would also recommend you to have fun and experiment with different styles and techniques, don't be afraid to try new things and express your personality.
