Tyrus Paladium Animated Style
Hello everyone, I'm lorentm, a digital artist passionate about the world of splinterlands. Today I want to share with you my new work, which is a fan art of the character "Tyrus Paladium" in anime style.
Tyrus Paladium is one of the most powerful and mysterious summoners of splinterlands. According to an ancient khymerian prophecy, he is the chosen hero who will rise from his humble origins to wield the Silver Shield and the Silver Sword, uniting the world against evil. Many believe that Tyrus has a special destiny and that he is the leader that Khymeria needs to restore balance and peace.
In my drawing, I wanted to portray Tyrus with a slightly older and more serious appearance, with a beard and a more ostentatious outfit, according to his rank and prestige. I also gave more detail to his scepter, which is the symbol of his authority and power. As a background, I chose the interior of a chapel, where you can see the lighting of the windows of a sky blue, some candles and banners. I wanted to create an atmosphere of solemnity and reverence, that reflects the importance and respect that Tyrus has in Khymeria.
This is the second fan art that I make of Tyrus, since I find him a very interesting and potential character. I really like the anime style, because it allows me to express more the personality and emotions of the characters. I hope you like my work and that you leave me your comments and suggestions.

Hola a todos, soy lorentm, una artista digital apasionada por el mundo de splinterlands. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes mi nueva obra, que es un fan art del personaje "Tyrus Paladium" al estilo anime.
Tyrus Paladium es uno de los invocadores más poderosos y misteriosos de splinterlands. Según una antigua profecía khymeriana, él es el héroe elegido que surgirá de sus humildes orígenes para blandir el Escudo de Plata y la Espada de Plata, uniendo al mundo contra el mal. Muchos creen que Tyrus tiene un destino especial y que es el líder que necesita Khymeria para restaurar el equilibrio y la paz.
En mi dibujo, quise representar a Tyrus con un aspecto un poco mayor y más serio, con barba y una vestimenta más ostentosa, acorde a su rango y prestigio. También le di más detalle a su cetro, que es el símbolo de su autoridad y poder. Como fondo, elegí el interior de una capilla, donde se puede observar la iluminación de las ventanas de un azul celeste, algunas velas y estandartes. Quise crear un ambiente de solemnidad y reverencia, que refleje la importancia y el respeto que tiene Tyrus en Khymeria.
Este es el segundo fan art que hago de Tyrus, ya que me parece un personaje muy interesante y con mucho potencial. Me gusta mucho el estilo anime, porque me permite expresar más la personalidad y las emociones de los personajes. Espero que les guste mi obra y que me dejen sus comentarios y sugerencias.
Estoy muy emocionada de participar nuevamente en el concurso de arte que realiza splinterlands cada semana. Es una gran oportunidad para mostrar mi talento y mi pasión por este juego. Process / Proceso
Well, well, well, do you want to know how I made the digital drawing of Tyrus Paladium? Well, get ready, because I'm going to tell you the whole process, step by step, but without boring you. Let's go!
The first thing I did was a sketch with a digital pencil, on a layer that was barely visible. I drew the silhouette of the character and the background, without worrying about the details. The sketch was like a map, that helped me orient myself in the rest of the process.
The next thing I did was the outline, on a new layer and with a thinner brush. I traced the lines of the sketch, giving more shape and definition to the character and the background. I erased the sketch and fixed the thickness and smoothness of the lines.
The third thing I did was the coloring, on several layers and with the blending mode "multiply". I chose a color palette that matched the anime style and the atmosphere of the scene. I painted the parts of the character and the background with the base colors, without going out of the lines. I added some details like the eyes, the hair and the jewels.
The fourth thing I did was apply the shadows, on a new layer and with the blending mode "multiply". I chose a light source that came from the windows, and darkened the parts of the character and the background that were in the shadow. I used a soft brush and changed the opacity according to the depth of the shadow. I mixed the colors with the gradient tool to create more natural transitions.
The fifth and last thing I did was apply the highlights, on a new layer and with the blending mode "soft light". I chose a light and bright color, and lightened the parts of the character and the background that received more light. I used a hard and small brush, and added some touches of brightness in the eyes, the scepter, the jewels and the windows. I also used the blur tool to soften some edges.

- Lo primero que hice fue un boceto con un lápiz digital, en una capa que casi no se veía. Dibujé la silueta del personaje y el fondo, sin preocuparme por los detalles. El boceto fue como un mapa, que me ayudó a orientarme en el resto del proceso.
- Lo siguiente que hice fue el delineado, en una capa nueva y con un pincel más delgado. Repasé las líneas del boceto, dándole más forma y definición al personaje y al fondo. Borré el boceto y arreglé el grosor y la suavidad de las líneas.
- Lo tercero que hice fue el coloreado, en varias capas y con el modo de fusión "multiplicar". Elegí una paleta de colores que combinara con el estilo anime y con el ambiente de la escena. Pinté las partes del personaje y el fondo con los colores base, sin salirme de las líneas. Le puse algunos detalles como los ojos, el pelo y las joyas.
- Lo cuarto que hice fue aplicar las sombras, en una capa nueva y con el modo de fusión "multiplicar". Elegí una fuente de luz que viniera de las ventanas, y oscurecí las partes del personaje y el fondo que quedaran en la sombra. Usé un pincel suave y cambié la opacidad según la profundidad de la sombra. Mezclé los colores con la herramienta de degradado para crear transiciones más naturales.
- Lo quinto y último que hice fue aplicar los brillos, en una capa nueva y con el modo de fusión "luz suave". Elegí un color claro y brillante, y aclaré las partes del personaje y el fondo que recibieran más luz. Usé un pincel duro y pequeño, y le puse algunos toques de brillo en los ojos, el cetro, las joyas y las ventanas. También usé la herramienta de desenfoque para suavizar algunos bordes.
