Introducing Lineup Lab, a free battle study tool for the community

avatar

I originally built this to help players learn and get better against tough matchups, and I'm now opening it up so everyone can use it to study and sharpen their play.

Try it: https://splintertools.com/lineup-lab

What is Lineup Lab?

It's a lab for studying finished battles. Paste in any completed Splinterlands battle, then ask the question we've all asked after a loss: "what if I'd played it differently?" and actually see the answer.

What you can do:

Import any completed battle by link or ID
Swap monsters and summoners
Change summoner tactics, rulesets, mana cap, and inactive splinters
Run simulations to see how each change moves the win %
It replays the battle thousands of times and shows you how likely each outcome was, so you can tell the difference between a genuinely bad lineup and simple bad luck, and find the lines that actually would have turned the game.

How to use it:

Open https://splintertools.com/lineup-lab (an example battle is loaded so you can see it in action)
Hit Import + Simulate to load a battle and its baseline odds
Tweak the lineup, summoner tactics, or rulesets
Hit Simulate Edited and compare the before and after win rates
A note on fair play: this is a study tool for completed and hypothetical battles, a way to learn between games. It doesn't play for you and it isn't a live in-battle assistant.

It's in beta and I'm actively improving it, so feedback is very welcome. Drop it in the comments.

Have fun, and good luck out there.
