ruleset.png
Born Again - All units receive the Rebirth ability which allows them to self resurrect once.
Broken Arrows - Ranged attack Monsters may not be used in battles.
Explosive Weaponry - All Monsters have the Blast ability.
Mana Cap of 38.
Available Splinters- Water, Earth and Dragon

My Team:

Summoner: Immortalis (-1 to Health, Void and Shatter abilities for all monsters)

1. Pelacor Mercenary - Melee Damage Dealer with the Flying, Heal and Retaliate abilities
2. Magi of Chaos - Magic Damage Dealer with the Oppress ability
3. Queen Mycelia - Magic Damage Dealer Protect, Amplify, Triage and Rust abilieis
4. Goblin Psychic - Magic Damage Dealer with the Tank heal, Affliction and Silence abilities
5. Regal Peryton - Magic Damage Dealer with the Flying ability
6. Djinn Biljka - Ranged Damage Dealer with the Camouflage, Void and Weaken abilities

Strategy:

I had a hard time choosing the water or Earth splinter, water would have meant faster speed which is pretty crucial in the Explosive Weaponry ruleset, but earth has better protection against Magic attacks with Immortalis and also better low/medium mana Magic damage dealers. I went with the Earth splinter and Immortalis and was hoping Queen Mycelia's Protect ability and the Regal Perytons fast speed and flying dodges would be enough to survive long enough to dish out the big magic damage myself.

Position 1 - Pelacor Mercenary:

Obvious choice for the front position, the only melee attacker in my team and with Heal, Retaliate decent Speed and the flying ability just an overall great tank.

Position 2 - Magi of Chaos:

I chose the Magi for the second position because of the decently high HP which is needed because of the explosive weaponry rulset.

Position 3 - Queen Mycelia:

The queen in the middle because she gives all the awesome buffs and debuffs.

Position 4 - Goblin Psychic:

In the middle for the same reason, the tank heal and silence are awesome abilities that should be in the game for as long as possible.

Position 5 - Regal Peryton:

In this position for sneak protection. One of the fastest monsters in the game and combined with the flying ability it has a great chance to dodge melee or ranged attacks.

Position 6 - Djinn Biljka:

Can't be targeted because of the Camouflage ability so it usually ends up in the end of the lineup.

Round 1:

My opponent chose a team that was faster than mine, but completely melee damaged focus, so Queen Mycelias Protect ability helps a bit.
In this round I am pretty lucky with dodging and the retaliate proccs, both my Regal Peryton and Pelacor Mercenary dodge one attack and Pelacor Mercenary retaliates every attack that hits him while the Diemonsharks doesn't even retaliate once. Thanks to that I manage to take down the 3 monsters in the front.

Round 2:

6 vs 3 and most of my Monsters didn't use the rebirth ruleset yet. The opponent Monster with their superior speed all get to attack, but afterwards all of them get taken out. Only Ureaus manages to survive the round because of rebirth.

Round 3:

Poor Ureaus now faces my complete team....

Final Hit:

... and gets dealt with quickly by my Regal Peryton

Result:

Looks like an overwhelming victory with all of my monsters alive at the end, but my luck in the first round was crucial. A dodge less or even 1 retaliate from the enraged Diemonshark could have lead to a completely different outcome in this match.
