SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge! SCAVO FIREBOLT
Edition: CHAOS LEGION
Rarity: RARE
Element: FIRE
Attack: RANGED
Abilities: Knock Out at level 6
Ruleset and line-up:
Weak Magic - Magic attacks hit Armor before reducing health
Holy Protection - All Monsters have the Divine protection ability
Mana Cap of 48.
Available Splinters - Fire, Water, Earth, Death and Dragon
My Team:
Summoner: Yodin Zaku (+1 to all Ranged damage, +1 to Health, Every Monster in my Team gets the Blast ability)
1. Forgotten One - Tank, Melee Damage Dealer with the Immunity ability
2. Radiated Brute - Melee Damage Dealer with the Reach ability
3. Tenyii Striker - Melee Damage Dealer with the Sneak ability
4. Scavo Firebolt - Ranged Damage Dealer
5. Mantoid - Ranged Damage Dealer with the Snipe ability
6. Lava Launcher - Ranged Damage Dealer with the Close Range ability
Strategy:
The ruleset in combination with the high mana cap made the summoner choice easy for me. I had an active rent and Yodin Zaku is just too good to pass. Equipping every Monster in my Team with the Blast ability is the perfect counter to the Holy Protection ruleset. Another important part of my strategy specifically because of the Holy Protection Ruleset is to make sure every Monster in my Team can attack, either because of special abilities like Sneak and Reach or because they have Magic or Ranged attacks. Since the second ruleset was Weak Magic and my chosen summoner buffs ranged damage, I went for a melee and ranged combination team and didn't use any Magic attacks.
Round 1:
My opponent decided to ignore the Weak Magic ruleset and went heavy on magic attacks in the Earth splinter. I might have done the same if it wasn't for my Yodin-rent. With all the opponents Monsters at level 1 the odds are in my favor.
Thanks to the Blast-damage half of the opponents team goes down in this round, and thanks to the weak magic ruleset my tank the Forgotten One manages to survive with 3 hitpoints.
Round 2:
Because of a lucky cointoss the opponent gets one more attack in, but it is only enough to reduce the Forgotten One's hitpoints to 1. The rest of the opponents team goes down shortly after.
Result:
Yodin Zaku and the Blast ability completely annihilated the opponents team. It was close but in the end not even one of my Monsters died, leading to a flawless victory.
Do I like the Scavo Firebolt? Usually I don't really use Scavo Firebolt a lot, most of my Firesplinter battles are focused on melee because I don't own a Yodin Zaku and don't rent him very often. It is a great card for the little league ruleset though. Not many monsters with only 4 mana have 2 damage at level 1.

May we ask you to support it so our team can continue its work this year?
You can do it on Peakd, ecency, Hive.blog or using HiveSigner.
