Splinterlands... the Game I never knew I needed!

Hey all,
So 1st post in here and all I can say is this is what I needed in my life. I signed uo in November played for a week and kind of gave up. Fast forward to January and I got back in the saddle. A little wiser and more well-read. God bless the interweb, youtube and now Peakd. I've learned so much and my tanks about an 1/8 full.

We have the 1st full day in the new season and the bots are running wild scrambling for the top. I'm not at a point yet to get there but I'm working on it. I currently run 2 accounts. My main I'm running in gold and I'm far from maxed out as far as my cards go. I've got a full CL set with most cards between Lvl 4-6. Once you hit that level 6 even the lowest valued cards are pricey to level up. My secondary account is all CL and some untamed GFL. IM primarily sticking around in Silve to see what I can do in there. So far results have been lackluster but I'm a work in progress.
Little about me I'm in my late 30's and was never interested in this genre at all until about 3 years ago started reading MMORPG books and I got caught in a VR game type books and just kind of got the bug. Found SL and it's a match made in heaven. A love hate relationship if you will. I'm going to try and post my journey and what I find to work and not work for me. As of this posting the what doesn't work far out weighs the Work .
This AM I fired off my Daily quest for my secondary account and it was "Blah" I transferred all my GFL yesterday so my CP didn't vest in time so I got 1 Chest for completing the quest and it was B-O-R-I-N-G. THE results are below.

In my primary account the results were a little better. I had Gloridax Revenge and I splurged and Rented Archmage Arius, and WOW! Talk about a universal card that makes life easier. The Price tag on it though is Hefty that's for sure!.

I just wanted to introduce myself and am looking forward to keeping up to date with all the goings on in the Splinterworld. I'll be browsing the boards and hope to meet some of y'all.
