Hello to all friends of this beautiful community of hive, I wish you all that you are very well and are having a great day, today I bring you a post about the weekly challenge that offers us the excellent game Splinterlands, I come very excited to show you this battle and observe how the challenge card influences the battle, I hope you enjoy this post, let's go to battle!
About the challenge letter
The card belonging to this week's challenge is Magi of Chaos belonging to the neutral sliver, it seems to me a card to which you can get much out of the battle, it has no skills but has good statistics, has 5 life points which make this card is resistant in battles, its speed is not bad, has two points of speed, and its magical attack is very good because it has two points of magical attack which means that their attacks directly affect the health of the opponent regardless of their shield.
His design seems good to me, he is a blond wizard with long hair, he carries a long weapon which he uses to launch his attacks and create chaos in battle, he wears a very striking clothing, it is a kind of green cloak, this design goes very well with the name of the card and transmits power and fear to his opponents, I recommend using this card in intermediate positions, third and fourth position, in this way I think we can make the most of his magical attack.
Rules for the battle
For this battle we have available 22 mana points to spend, I must admit that it is a low number, however it is not an impediment to create good combinations in the battle.
The standard rules of the game are not modified, so it is allowed to use any type of splinter and card in the battlefield.
Analyzing my opponent
My opponent has three monsters with very good statistics, the most remarkable are their life points because I think they are incredible, besides having many life points has a summoner which gives a point of shield to their monsters therefore, the strength of my opponent is his defense, I need to create a good plan to beat that excellent enemy defense, besides that does not have a bad attack, his monsters also have good attack points and skills that can serve much to my enemy in battle.
The weak point of my opponent is that he only has three monsters, that is, he has a numerical disadvantage because I have 5 monsters on the battlefield, his monsters are very powerful but I think my monsters can make a great team battle which will give me the victory, after all, in the union is the strength.
Battle formation and statistics of my monsters
Summoner: in this battle I am using the summoner Mother Khala, this powerful summoner gives my monsters an additional health point, I have used this summoner before and the truth is that I really like his performance in battles, his additional health point makes my monsters more resistant in the game field.
First position: this time I have decided to use Chaos Knight as a tank, this powerful knight with very striking armor has the ability to reduce the damage of melee and ranged attacks, statistically he has 3 points of armor, 4 points of life, 2 points of speed and 2 points of melee attack.
Second position: here I used the monster Truthspeaker, this monster has the ability to increase two points of armor to the allied monsters, statistically it has one point of life and one point of speed, despite not having attack points I think his ability compensates for this fact.
Third position: here we find the card of the challenge, as I mentioned before this card has no ability, statistically it has 5 life points, 2 speed points and 2 points of magic attack, its magic attack makes it a card that can be used to great advantage especially against enemies with high armor points.
Fourth position: in this position we find the monster Stitch Leech which looks like a carnivorous plant, has the ability to attack the enemy monster located in the last position, statistically has 3 points of life, one point of speed and two points of melee attack.
Fifth position: finally in this last position we find the monster Gargoya Scrapper, this monster has no skills, statistically it has two points of life, 2 points of speed and one point of melee attack, it is a monster which should be placed in a good position to get the most out of it.
My winning strategy
According to the previous analysis of my opponent I know that he has many health points, which means that I will need time in the battle to kill the enemy monsters, that is, I need my monsters to resist as long as possible in the battle, for this I have as a strategy to use the ability of Truthspeaker to increase my defense and thus my monsters resist longer in the battle.
With this I will have enough time for Magi of Chaos to use its magic power to the maximum and can attack directly to the enemy's health, especially need this to defeat the enemy tank which has many points of armor, I trust that Magi will have a good performance in battle and show all his magical power to kill the opponent.
Battle execution
The battle begins and everything starts as I expected, immediately my strategy comes into action and Truthspeaker uses his ability to increase all the defense of my monsters, the battle begins very lively, with many attacks but I know it will be a long battle, I must be patient and wait for my strategy to take effect, the first three rounds were of many attacks, where I must emphasize that Magi did his job perfectly, his powerful magical attacks managed to kill the enemy tank which even had shield points left.
The battle lasted until round 6 where my opponent had managed to kill two of my monsters, however Magi was still standing throwing his powerful magical attacks, on the other hand Stitch was doing an excellent job since the battle began which gave good results in round 6, for 6 rounds Stich was constantly doing damage to the enemy monster in last position and managed to kill him in round 6, leaving only one enemy monster standing.
This last enemy monster was already very weak because it was resisting the powerful attacks of my monsters and especially the strong magical attack of Magi, which in round 7 managed to give the last blow killing the last enemy monster that was left standing, and thus giving me the victory of a battle that was long but where my strategy gave good results.
Did the strategy work?
The strategy worked perfectly, thanks to the ability of Truthspeaker my monsters had enough time to eliminate the enemy monsters, where I must highlight the excellent work of Magi of Chaos and Stitch Leech, these monsters were essential in the battle to kill the opponent, the great magical power of Magi and the excellent ability of Stitch stood out in this battle and allowed the strategy to work perfectly.
How did the challenge card influence the battle?
Magi of Chaos was totally fundamental in the battle, it did its job perfectly, thanks to its magic attack I managed to defeat the enemy tank which had a lot of shield, besides that it continued weakening the opponent, to the point that it was the monster that gave the last blow in the battle to finish with the last enemy monster, without a doubt it is one of the best monsters in this battle, I am completely satisfied with its performance in the field and I can say that we got the most out of this card.
