Greetings

Hello friends of this great hive community, I hope you are having an excellent week, today I bring you a battle happened in the wonderful world of Splinterlands, it is a very exciting battle where we have monsters with many skills, I loved this battle and I could not wait to share it with you, I hope you also like it as much as I do, let's go to battle!

Battle

The battle begins and the summoners do their job, the enemy summoner raised a magic attack point to his monsters but mine counteracts this action by removing a magic attack point to the enemy monsters, I knew that the battle would be a little hard because my enemy had a very powerful tank that's why I had to devise a strategy to kill his tank.

My strategy worked perfectly and in round two I had already annihilated two enemy monsters, even so I was not confident because in the battlefield there were two monsters with many life points so it would require a lot of attack to kill them, for the second round I had a good battle because I managed to kill another enemy monster and the rival tank had taken damage.

Even though the enemy tank had received a lot of damage it still had high health points, besides it had the ability to avoid the magic attack of one of my monsters so defeating it was a little more difficult, even so my monsters showed all their fury until round 5 where finally my monsters gave the last blow to kill the last enemy monster and give me the victory of a great battle.

Standards

In this battle we have 27 mana points available to spend, this number is one of the highest I've ever had, more than enough to make good plays on the battlefield.

The standard rules of the game have no modifications so any kind of splinter and card on the playing field is valid.

Cards used

Let's see the stats and abilities of my cards used in the battle:

Thadeous Hood: in this battle we have Thadeous Hood as a summoner, I have used him several times and he combines very well with the death splinter monsters, this powerful summoner takes away one point of life and one point of magic attack from enemy monsters, Thadeus always gives us advantage in terms of attack and life.

Bone Golem: this monster has the ability to reduce the damage of magical attacks, besides that statistically it has 2 points of armor, 6 points of life, one point of speed and three points of melee attack, the truth is that it is a perfect monster to use in the first position.

Death Elemental: This fearsome hooded monster has the ability to attack the enemy monsters of the second row that have ranged or magic attack, statistically it has 2 points of life, 3 points of speed and one point of magic attack.

Maggots: This gang of maggots has the ability called Opportunity, this allows them to attack from any position and target the enemy monster with less health, statistically they have 1 health point, one speed point and one melee attack point.
Undead Badger: this feline monster has the ability to attack the enemy monster located in the last position, it has 1 health point, 3 speed points and 1 melee attack point.

Life Sapper: this powerful monster has the ability to increase its health every time it inflicts damage to an enemy monster and the health increases in proportion to the damage inflicted, statistically it has 2 health points, two speed points and one magic attack point.

Silent Sha-Vi: this terrifying snake has the ability to attack the enemy monster located in the last position, it has very good stats because it has 5 health points, 3 speed points and two melee attack points, for me it is one of the most powerful cards I have used.

Strategy

When I observed my opponent I realized that his monsters had high health points, especially his tank, which not only had high health points but also had a great attack, I needed a lot of damage in attack to kill my opponent but my monsters did not have much damage, most of my monsters only had one point of damage, that is why I concentrated on taking advantage of their abilities to kill the weak point of my opponent.

The weak point of my rival was undoubtedly his monsters located in the last positions because they had few health points and that's where I knew I had to do damage directly and then concentrate all my attack on the enemy tank, then my strategy was based on finishing first with the last enemy ranks to concentrate the power of all my monsters on the enemy tank which had many health points.

Used chips

In this battle I am using death splinter, I have been using this splinter for a long time and I have to say that it is one of my favorites, however it has some weaknesses that in my opinion are in its few attack points, despite that it is a splinter that has monsters with incredible skills in which you can make very good plays and combinations in the battlefield, this was reflected in the battle because it was thanks to the skills of my monsters that I could attack the enemy weak point despite having few attack points.

My rival used earth splinter, this splinter is very good, I have battled several times with it and I am always surprised how difficult it is to beat them or the powerful monsters it has, however I must admit that in terms of skills the death splinter is far above the earth splinter, but in terms of health and attack the earth splinter is more powerful.

As for the design of these splinters I must say that I like them a lot, the death splinter has a fearsome design because its monsters transmit the fear that characterizes this splinter, and the earth splinter has an elegant design for its monsters, most of the design of the monsters of the earth splinter transmit wisdom and power.

What would you try differently?

My strategy worked perfectly, Silent Sha-Vi, Undead Badger, and Maggots were in charge of finishing the last enemy ranks without any problem, however there was one of my monsters that could not do much in the battle, Life Shapper attacked the enemy tank but this with its ability reduced the magic damage and as Life Sapper has very little magic attack then the damage it did to the enemy tank was insignificant, it is a pity that it could not take advantage of a powerful monster like Life Sapper.

Because of this I would change the position of Life Sapper with that of Maggots, since Maggots has an important role in the battle as it is responsible for killing the last enemy positions and therefore placing it in a position further back is convenient to protect it and thus would be giving some kind of use to Life that is like a kind of "shield", because they must kill him first to get to the monsters that play a key role in the battle.
