Do you think that the new Soulbound cards will really be able to permanently eliminate the Bot plague from Splinterlands?!? If not, what could be, in your opinion, the definitive solution?!?

For some time now, and I don't think I'm the only one, I believe that bots, which have been running around the game with impunity, have caused considerable damage to the internal economy of this game, even causing some problems for real users trying to play it personally, since they hoarded rewards, and other assets, looting the daily and seasonal pools.

Since the Soulbound cards have arrived, it seems that there are far fewer working than before, although every once in a while there are a few…

Do you believe that the path taken by Splinterlands is the right one?!?

If not, what do you think, and how would you permanently remove bots from the game?!?

I must admit that I have never delved into the opportunity that you offer much, but I think I made a mistake because it looks very interesting.

I hoped so, at least for the most part. We have a lot of bots playing, and the game loses some of its fun a little bit like that.
I lose many battles. 🤣🤣

Since the new Soulbound cards have arrived, I have to admit that I have found myself faced with far fewer Bots, even if, however, they have not completely disappeared.

I obviously hope that in the future there will be further changes that will lead, over time, to their definitive disappearance, but for the moment I fear it will still take quite a while

There is one way, KYC allowed account only, but Decentralized nature, they might refrain from it.

Bots will increase in number to achieve daily goals, if one bot runs out of energy another will replace it. so farmers will buy more bot automations and again regular players will miss the lion's share.

There are 3 or 4 bot services currently providing service to 1000s of players to run bots and grab chunks of rewards for doing nothing, one service just opened does not cost any penny for using their service if you buy their token.

Tomorrow, more similar services can open and destroy the game's economy before it reaches end of 65 month period. This is unstoppable and only Devs can stop it, and it seems way too hard.

Honestly, I don't know very many of them, apart from perhaps one, since I've never been interested, also because I found their use quite unfair, even if, in hindsight, probably, if I too had behaved as many have done, I could have made very interesting earnings.

Initially I believe that the creators of the game also found it convenient to have these bots active, since, by creating more accounts, they made the game seem much more followed, and consequently, perhaps, it was useful for them to show a much larger number of users than expected in reality it was, and to get a little more noticed, and then, in any case, they moved a little money, generating, in some way, an economic return, but I think that currently the thing has gotten a little out of hand .

If somehow they don't remedy this situation, I fear, in fact, that sooner or later it will become unsustainable, but at the same time, eliminating them abruptly, drastically, could create considerable problems, given that there would be a general stampede of their users, and a sale of all the assets that they have accumulated over time, which would probably lead to a collapse, even if hopefully only momentary, in the general economy of the game.

Not an easy situation to manage, actually, but some solution must be taken, because, if things are left to go on like this, it will get even bigger
