For a while now I’ve been renting my cards out on Peakmonsters. I really don’t have a lot of time lately to play, so it’s a good way to earn DEC.

If you go to Peakmonsters you should be able to figure out how to do it. I’m sure you could also search others folks’ posts for a guide.

I wanted to just briefly describe my strategy. First thing I noticed the rentals are small at the beginning of the season. I’ll get maybe 30 or 40 DEC a day. Toward the end of the season I might be up to 150 to 250 DEC a day. Secondly, the rental price might fluctuate up toward the end of season for some cards. I believe this means some people are renting out low priced cards and increasing the rental price of their own cards. For this I am tinkering with the price of my own cards so I can ride that wave in the future. Thirdly, I am slowly removing the cards I rent that have too much competition. If there are several thousand cards available, they tend to be low and rarely rented.

So the first week of a season I may get about 400 DEC from the rentals. Mind you, I only have about 140 cards. The second week I might get 800 or 900 DEC. The price of DEC will fluctuate, but I usually get around 2 HIVE for those two weeks.

My future plans are to keep changing the rental prices to maximize profit. I’ll also drop the cards that don’t rent. I may even look into buying low level cards to combine them and increase value. As I open new Chaos Packs I rent out the valuable cards.

So questions, comments or criticisms. Feel free to leave them. I’ll try to answer the best I can.
