Dear Diary - V.1

I have been playing Splinterlands for about half a year now and entered in the bullish market. As most players know crypto has taken a crash lately and the near future is uncertain. For play to earn I feel passionate that the future is bright and especially for Splinterlands. Splinterlands card prices haven't been better in a long time. It feels like ever since when I started prices were almost at the highest. I cannot buy enough cards right now but I will continue to gather as much as I can. For me I have focused on playing in bronze and silver tournaments. I have focused on having a max silver chaos legion set. I am not there yet but I have made great progress. I have also made sure to have enough SPS staked to play in the noob tournaments. I have been able to earn SPS in these tournaments every time atleast earning my entry fee back and more most the time. I look forward to the new reward setup and I believe that will change how I am collecting but for now I am focusing on maxing Silver Chaos Legion Set. My thinking is then I will do the same for Rift Watchers and each set so on and this will give me the best opportunity to be competitive for the bronze and silver modern tournaments moving forward. Once untamed rotates out then I hope to have all the cards max silver and give myself a real chance at competing for tournament and leaderboard rewards. Since Playing I have obtained a scholarship which I heard about through one of the town halls. NFTy Arcade has given me an account to play on where I earn SPS for doing their quest each day and playing. I have been playing for them for about 30 days now and I plan on being the best scholar I can be and see if my game skills take me anywhere. I have also started streaming my gameplay more on twitch Luistheaccountant (: I was streaming one day and I got a viewer talking to me about Rising Star and at first I was didn't think I would actually play it. I ended up playing it after more viewers came from that community. I was really surprised at how easy you start earning and how deep the game play can actually get. I started just playing to earn it only takes a few clicks and is passive where you dont have to think about anything in the beginning at least. As you go and want to progress in the game it will take some reading and research. I quickly wanted to earn more and I genuinely like the game and believe it will have a bright future. Now I own a few cards for the game and play it with Splinterlands, the two go together very nicely. I wish my family and friends would get on board even if they don't want to invest real money I could set them up with coinbase and get enough free learn to earn crypto to finance their splinterlands spellbooks and some NFT's to be able to just get started and earn something. Most people are still dissmissive of the whole movement from what I've learned. Patience is key and I've learned to just not mention it now because most people will hear it as nonsense or even a scam. Really looking forward to saying I told you so in the next decade. I admit I have no way of knowing and with regulations this all could be gone tomorrow it seems like. All that being said do what you love and as a grown man I love playing video games and games that give me assets that can translate later definitely make me feel empowered. I know most of the players I have met feel the same way and that is the main flaw of other games it is a blackhole as far as putting money into play. Really wish I could get back the money I put into MTGO.. Welp, I can still play if I want but why would I when I can earn when I play? I get that some just enjoy what they like and to some thats a Madden League where they pay to play and it is just for glory. I used to play MTGO for glory trying to get to a point to be competitive but it was far off..Splinterlands being a game similar gravitated me because it has some similarities but the end is the same I want to be one of the great players. To me that doesn't mean just technical but a great person who is also a player. I feel play to earn really can change the world and give resources to those who have not been able to earn in this way before. I have seen this with the scholarships in Axie and Splinterlands right now, people are actually earning a good amount of money playing video games from home. I get that 30 USD a month might not seem like a lot but in third world countries I imagine it is alot more. I have met players from Splinterlands mostly from other countries, and I enjoy helping them as I can. I had to learn everything through research and trial and error but if I can help anyone it makes me feel like I'm helping the revolution that is to come. It is daunting to get into crypto and let alone start investing. I do believe this year will tell a lot about the future of crypto but I do believe it is here to stay. These are just my personal thoughts and not financial advice..Dinner's ready..GTG.
