Building A Powerful Water Deck With Kelya!

Hello, Hola and Kamusta!

If you are new to Splinterlands and looking for deck builds, you have come to the perfect place! We have already covered a Tarsa fire deck last week and now it's time for water with Kelya! For $50 you should be able to use it in Bronze 1 and even in Silver 3, $100 in Silver 1-2 and $250 can even do well enough in low gold play.

Why Choose Kelya

Kelya is a really strong right now in Splinterlands. Kelya and water monster cards are more expensive than most other Chaos Legion decks but if you are looking for a strong versatile deck, than look no further!

Kelya strengths include...

  • Lots of strong high mana cards for fights with 40+ mana
  • A cleanse for poison battles
  • High melee damage, especially with the inspire ability from Demented Shark or River Hellondale lvl 2

  • Multiple opportunity attackers with Deeplurker and Feasting Seaweed
  • Extra speed and armor from Kelya can keep your backline alive longer, cause more misses, and make your team attack first.
  • Decent counter to magic with Oshannus or Torhilo the Frozen

How To Use Deck Build Sheet

  1. Watch the video on 3Speak to hear my thoughts on the most important cards for the Kelya deck.
  2. Open the Google sheet and pick which build you can afford. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1K3cQ5rxz16iIa0ji6RDlkGC1IIaKdtG9QaUcOv6OYE0/edit?usp=sharing
  3. If you aren't familiar yet with the water deck cards, I would start by renting these decks and trying them out. There's no perfect deck and each person may use certain cards more than others.
  4. Once you are ready to buy, use Peakmonsters to make bids https://peakmonsters.com/market or use https://monstermarket.io/ for instant purchases.

Conclusion

Hope this helps you build your deck! Let me know in the comments what you would change about these builds. Interested to hear your thoughts as well! Thanks for watching!

The 250$ Deck would definitely win games in Gold III if you have the CP for it.

Like the spread from bronze to low-gold play/builds. Going to give this post some love on Splinterlands Digest Twitter.

Demented Shark, Oshannus, the Fiend, and Kelp Initiate were cards I initially overlooked until this guide.
