Hello Alien art and Spt community, I am approaching this community and Hive with a first post. @smile27 recommended me to join hive as it would allow me to open new doors to show my illustrations and what I love to do. For this first design I decided to choose this card that caught my attention and that's how I started to illustrate it.

Hola comunidad de Alien art y Spt, me acerco a esta comunidad y a Hive con un primer post. @smile27 me recomendo unirme a hive ya que me permitiria abrir nuevas puertas a mostrar mis ilustraciones y lo que me encanta hacer. Para este primer diseño decidí elegir esta carta que me llamo la atención y así fue como comencé a ilustrarlo.

To begin with, I made the sketch on paper based on the illustration of the letter and then with my drawing style I made some style changes and showed it in full body.

Para empezar, hice el boceto en papel basándome en la ilustración de la carta y luego con mi estilo de dibujo hice algunos cambios de estilo y lo mostré de cuerpo entero.

Digital sketch / first concept. Once finished in physical form, I took a photo and by making it digitally, the sketch allows me to give me a reference of certain changes that can be applied to it and then continue with the lineart.

Boceto digital / primer concepto. Una vez finalizado en físico, tomé una foto y al realizarlo de manera digital, el boceto me permite darme una referencia de ciertos cambios que se le pueden aplicar para luego continuar con el lineart.

Lineart. For this part I took as a reference the outline color to a dark blue to later use it as a guide for the use of the color palette that I should select in the painting.

Lineart. Para esta parte tomé como referencia el color de contorno a un azul oscuro para luego utilizarlo como guía para el uso de la paleta de colores que debería seleccionar en el pintado.

For the base color I took the color picker tool and used the reference colors from the chart I had in the illustration. From that I filled in the parts that make up the illustration.

Para el color base tomé la herramienta de toma color y usé los colores de referencia de la carta que tenía en la ilustración. A partir de eso rellené las partes que conforman la ilustración.

Finally, one of the most important parts and personally one of my favorites, the detail, shading and lighting, being the eyes the one that I add more detail because from my point of view is the most remarkable and even attractive when it comes to give color and characterization to a character.
In the case of this character I tried to use soft colors to transmit the delicacy of the attire, a very blurred yellow to illuminate it, and a more purple shading for the shadow areas.

Para finalizar, una de las partes más importantes y personalmente de mis favoritas, el detalle,sombreado e iluminación,siendo el de los ojos al que más detalle agrego ya que es desde mi punto de vista es lo más destacable e incluso atrayente a la hora de darle color y caracterización a un personaje.
En el caso de este personaje traté de utilizar colores suaves para transmitir la delicadeza del atuendo, un amarillo muy difuminado para iluminarlo, y un sombreado más morado para las zonas de sombra.
