I was originally between Diamond and Champion with max card levels, so the situation of suddenly fighting higher level Summoners has not occurred.

However, I am struggling more than usual with people who deliberately had max level cards but were in leagues below Gold, who have moved up.

With six days left in the season, still in Diamond I, when normally I would have moved up to Champion...

It's the mood of YOMI when he realises the sorcerous power released by Rai Zen's old friend in Yūyū Hakushū.

It is the rules for this week's Battle Mage Secret Challenge!

RULESET: Equal Opportunity

Description:
All units gain the opportunity ability which allows them to attack the unit with the lowest health on the enemy team.

You can take out monsters with low health and high ARMOR,
It's an interesting rule to control the monsters on your side that the enemy attacks.

This battle is one of the Modern Bronze Tournaments.

24 mana.
In addition to Equal Opportunity, there are Aim True and Little League rules.
Mana is low at 24, but since it is Little League, this does not seem to be a problem.
The available attributes are Water, Life and Dragon.

The Summoner I have chosen for this battle is the 3mana PRUNDA UNDERVESCH.
I think it is the best Summoner for this rule because it can use the two attributes of Water and Life.

Here is the my deck.

The first is CHAOS REAR GUARD.
With its high armour and Shield ability, it is a classic tank in low mana battles.
In Opportunity the lead monster takes less damage than in other rules, but I still like to place monsters with high survivability.

Second in line was PIRATE OF EIGHT.
It was planned to attack from this position with Reach's abilities..., but Opportunity took precedence over Reach...

Positions 3 to 5 consist of weapons training with MOXIAN REBEL.
Under Equal Opportunity rules, the REBEL is likely to be defeated quickly.

MAR TOREN SEEKER at the tail end.
This monster has a range attack with attack power 2.
I chose him with high attack power because when the opponent also plays CHAOS REAR GUARD, he can't do any damage with 1 attack power.

The enemy is also the same Summoner.

The composition is similar, but includes a DRYBONE BOWDOG with Ambush abilities.
The composition is more attack oriented than defence oriented.

Scattershot and Snipe are prioritised over Opportunity, so it is a little worrying that the attacks are spread out.

Scattershot has hit my PIRATE OF EIGHT, so its strength is now the same as REBEL's.
Opportunity's target has shifted to PIRATE OF EIGHT, so CHAOS REAR GUARD has disabled the enemy's Blast.
Lucky!

After that, the two sides reduce each other's strength.
The remaining strength is almost the same, but there is a difference in ARMOR.

The last remaining enemy PIRATE OF EIGHT attack is also reduced to zero damage by the CHAOS REAR GUARD...

MAR TOREN SEEKER attacks to end the match.

I think the Opportunity rule is about controlling the opponent's attack and
It is important not to disperse our attacks.

私は元々カードレベルがMAXのダイヤ〜チャンピオンの間にいたので、突然レベルが上のサモナーと戦うという状況は発生していません。

ただ、意図的にMAXレベルのカードを持っていながらゴールド以下のリーグにいた人達が上がってきたのか普段よりも苦戦しています。
シーズン残り6日、普段ならチャンピオンに上がっている時期なのにまだダイヤIにいます…。

幽遊白書で雷禅の旧友達が解放した妖力に気づいた黄泉の気分ですね。

でも、これで新規で参入したプレイヤーが遊びやすい環境になるなら大歓迎です！

今週のBattle Mage Secrets Weekly Challengeのルールはこちらです！

ルールセット: Equal Opportunity

すべてのユニットが、敵チームの最も体力の低いユニットを攻撃できるOpportunity能力を得る。

低い体力で高いarmorを持っているモンスターを出したり、
敵が攻撃する味方のモンスターをコントロールするのが面白いルールですね。

今回のバトルはモダンのブロンズトーナメントの1戦です。

マナは24。
Equal Opportunityの他にAim TrueとLittle Leagueのルールがあります。
マナは24と低いですが、Little Leagueなので問題はなさそうです。
使える属性はWaterとLife、そしてDragonです。

今回私が選んだサモナーは3マナのPRUNDA UNDERVESCH。
WaterとLifeの2属性が使えるので、今回のルールでは最適なサモナーだと思います。

使うデッキはこちらです。

1番目はCHAOS REAR GUARD。
高いarmorにShieldのアビリティを持ち、低マナバトルでは定番のタンクです。
Opportunityでは先頭モンスターがダメージを受けることは他のルールよりも少ないですが、それでも生存率の高いモンスターを置くのが好きです。

２番手はPIRATE OF EIGHT。
Reachのアビリティでこの位置から攻撃…する予定だったのですが、OpportunityがReachよりも優先されました…。

3番手から5番手はMOXIAN REBELを使ったweapons trainingの構成です。
Equal OpportunityのルールではREBELはすぐに倒されてしまいそうですね。

最後尾にはMAR TOREN SEEKER。
攻撃力2の遠距離攻撃を持つモンスターです。
相手もCHAOS REAR GUARDを出してきた時に攻撃力1ではダメージを与えられないので高い攻撃力を持つ彼を選びました。

敵も同じサモナーです。
構成も似ていますがAmbushのアビリティを持つDRYBONE BOWDOGを入れています。
防御よりも攻撃に寄せた構成です。
ScattershotやSnipeはOpportunityよりも優先されるので、攻撃が分散してしまうのが気になります。

ScattershotがこちらのPIRATE OF EIGHTに当たったため、体力がREBELと同じになりました。
OpportunityのターゲットがPIRATE OF EIGHTに移ったため、敵のBlastをCHAOS REAR GUARDが無効化してくれています。
ラッキー！！

その後はお互いに体力を削り合います。
残り体力はほぼ同じですが、armorの差が出てきています。

最後に残った敵のPIRATE OF EIGHTの攻撃もCHAOS REAR GUARDがダメージ0に抑えて…

MAR TOREN SEEKERの攻撃で試合終了です。

Opportunityルールは相手の攻撃をコントロールすることと
こちらの攻撃を分散しないことが重要かなと思います。
