With that position there, with that big head there, who could it be, if not our Giant Hill, Common Card of the Earth Element? Impossible not to recognize it immediately, because it is too characteristic, as a subject, so I must say that I am happy to have found it in this Contest, because first of all it belongs to my absolute favorite Element, and secondly it is a Card that I use quite frequently, not one of those irremovable owners, but not even those I use once in a while, let's say that, in certain contexts, its use has its own reason...

But what are the ideal conditions to actually use Giant Hill?

To better answer the question above, let's get help from the table of this Card, personally I have already upgraded it to 8th level, the maximum I can use it at the moment, and in that level Giant Hill has a strength equal to 2 hits per round of play, associated with a speed of 3, the beauty of 8 Lives (which it all takes, because it is a Card that usually goes in 1st position), and which has only one ability, from 6th level onwards, which is that of Stun, all in all it is a fairly simple Card, very essential in its qualities, but in battles with low Mana number, or in those with limited Mana to 4 (Giant Hill has a cost in terms of Mana equal to 3 units), or still in Back to Basics mode, or Equalizer, can actually have its say, thanks to the good relationship between cost, in terms of Mana, and performance provided, without forgetting the fact that it is a fairly cheap card, at the moment a unit of Giant Hill costs about 4 cents of dollar (5 points of Deck Power), sure it will be a Card that I will bring, sooner or later, to the maximum effective power...

Il giovedì spero sempre che appaia il soggetto del Grande Contest di Splinterlands Share Your Battle, verso mezzogiorno (ora italiana), sono andato a vedere sul sito di Splinterlands, nessuna difficoltà a riconoscere immediatamente, senza neanche leggere il suo nome, di chi si trattasse questa settimana...

Con quella posizione lì, con quel testone lì, chi poteva essere, se non il nostro Giant Hill, Carta Comune dell'Elemento Terra?? Impossibile non riconoscerlo immediatamente, perché è troppo caratteristico, come soggetto, per cui devo dire che sono contento di averlo ritrovato in questo Contest, perché innanzitutto appartiene al mio Elemento preferito in assoluto, e secondariamente è una Carta che utilizzo abbastanza frequentemente, non di quelle titolari inamovibili, ma nemmeno di quelle che uso una volta ogni tanto, diciamo che, in determinati contesti, il suo utilizzo ha il suo perché...

Ma quali sono le condizioni ideali per usare effettivamente Giant Hill??

Per meglio rispondere alla domanda soprastante, facciamoci aiutare dalla tabella di questa Carta, personalmente l'ho già potenziata da tempo all'8° livello, il massimo a cui la posso utilizzare al momento, e in quel livello Giant Hill possiede una forza pari a 2 colpi per tornata di gioco, associata a una velocità di 3, la bellezza di 8 Vite (che ci vogliono tutte, perché è una Carta che di solito si mette in 1° posizione), e che possiede una sola abilità, dal 6° livello in poi, che è quella di Stun, tutto sommato è una Carta abbastanza semplice, molto essenziale nelle sue qualità, ma in battaglie con basso numero di Mana, oppure in quelle con Mana limitato a 4 (Giant Hill ha un costo in termini di Mana pari a 3 unità), oppure ancora in modalità Back to Basics, oppure Equalizer, può dire effettivamente la sua, grazie al buono rapporto fra costo, in termini di Mana, e prestazioni fornite, senza dimenticare il fatto che è una Carta abbastanza a buon mercato, in questo momento un'unità di Giant Hill costa circa 4 centesimi di dollaro (5 punti di Deck Power), certo sarà una Carta che porterò, prima o poi, alla massima potenza effettiva...

E' giunto il momento di passare dalle parole ai fatti, fra le altre cose, oggi ho proprio il Focus quotidiano fissato sull'Elemento Terra, per cui alla 1° partita che vado a selezionare dopo aver conosciuto il soggetto del Contest, mi capita proprio questa tipologia di combattimento di cui vi lascio il link di riferimento...

Partita molto semplice e lineare, che si adatta perfettamente alle caratteristiche di Giant Hill, unica modalità Back to Basic, Mana complessivi in dotazione 20, per cui mi son detto che teoricamente si sarebbe potuto esprimere molto bene, e così è stato, in effetti...

Giant Hill in 1° posizione, a prendersi tutte le bordate della compagine avversaria, grazie alle sue 8 Vite, in 2° posizione ho schierato Fungus Field, per far sprecare ulteriori colpi al nemico, mentre in 3° posizione ho posizionato Regal Peryton, che insieme a Goblin Sorcerer e Khmer Princess hanno goduto del potenziamento di Obsidian, il mio Evocatore Terra, chiude la magica sestina Uraeus, Carta Epica Neutrale...

Ecco una situazione intermedia, dove il mio avversario ha già perso Silvershield Paladin, il principale oppositore della compagine nemica, il mio caro **Giant Hill sta per perire, l'ultimo colpo lo sta per sferrare Thunderbird, ma il mio caro Gigante ha svolto davvero egregiamente la sua funzione, vi invito a guardare il combattimento nel dettaglio del link che ho trasmesso, così come pure vi consiglio amichevolmente di provare a giocare su Splinterlands, io mi sono subito innamorato di questa piattaforma, se anche voi volete partecipare e se non siete ancora iscritti, potete utilizzare, se vorrete, il mio link di affiliazione...
